Im on my vacation last December and visited this restaurant, just ordered bang bang shrimp as bartender recommended it. It turn out really really good! And I told my self that if I come back to CT i’m coming back for this. So here I am again, I have 2 weeks in CT and had 2 x bang bang shrimp. I think I still want more: p. I was here on Tuesday and had hooked on Tuesday Menu, thats a deal from heaven! It’s 3 course meal and its only 14++. And one thing is surprisingly good is their french fries. Their staff is great too. Deff will come back again.

Tonight was my first time at Bonefish Grill and I gotta say I enjoyed my experience! The atmosphere was great, nice and intimate which is what I was going for. The service was awesome. Our hostess broke down the entire menu for us and was very honest. Daniel our server was very fun and you could tell he loves his job. My only criticism is that my boyfriend and I felt we were getting checked on a little too much. It was to the point where we’d be stuffing our face and be interrupted by an employee. Typically its nice to do that but it was a little excessive maybe because we were first timers. Now the important stuff. Drinks. I tried a signature cocktail which was a Hawaiian Jalapeño cocktail. Surprisingly really good ! The food. We went for dinner and the portions were perfect. I got the lobster tail, broccoli and au gratin potatoes. I loved every bit and cleared my plate. I would definitely go again and recommend this to any party whether it be a couple, work related friends or even just family.

Appetizers were very slow to come out, like 30 minutes slow. My daughters salad had no dressing and it took 25 minutes to get it? Even the host could not find our server in the back? My burger was dry and flavorless. This place has gone down hill since it first opened. If your server is Kara, run!

If you like your asparagus the size of tree trunks this place is for you. What chef would serve this and think it’s good? The asparagus is considered a premium side so we paid extra for the super sized asparagus. The green beans are not a premium side but they were practically raw. Guess you need to pay extra to have them cooked. The rest of the meal was average. The service was good so I don’t blame the server for the bad experience. For the price we paid for the meal it wasn’t worth it.

This place escaped a one-star rating only because we received good service. Our waitress was very nice. I’ll go down the list of what we ordered. 1) Bang Bang Shrimp. Way too much mayonnaise in the sauce. 2) Clam Chowder. When does a restaurant use dehydrated potatoes in a soup? Not a nice one, that’s for sure. Certainly not what one expect from a seafood restaurant and at these prices. 3) Cobb salad with mangos consisted of iceberg lettuce, avocado, grape tomatoes, a few blue cheese crumbles and… wait for it… canned, yes canned mango. I fortunately ordered shrimp for the top. 4) Caesar salad. Wasn’t good or bad. Just meh! 5) Two waters. The food was not the caliber you would expect at a restaurant that identifies with being fine dining, and $ 40, well that’s just silly for this lunch. We will not be eating at Bonefish again.

Unfortunately not the best. Watery over dressed salad. The half sandwich offered seemed more like a quarter sandwich. No chicken on the ends of the wrap. Have been here previously and had better. Nice outdoor dining area. Poor wait staff are strapped down with huge electronic pads for ordering.

Definitely coming back here! I ordered the tuna steak and my girlfriend got the pad thai bowl. The tuna was done perfectly. Seared on the outside and pink on the inside. Both side dishes were delicious as well. Mashed potatoes and green beans. The pad thai had a very delicious sauce. For drinks, I had the Moscow mule, which they add a delicious ginger syrup to. Go on Tuesdays for deals on a 3 course meal. Its definitely worth it!

I feel like I have never been out before because I enjoyed this meal SO much. We had call ahead seating but when we arrived at 8:15 on a Saturday they still had a wait of approximately 15 minutes so we grabbed a table at the bar and it worked out great. We were greeted promptly and the food and service were excellent, across the board, all night. The house salad(pine nuts and olives, yummy) was great and the warm bread excellent. I had the shrimp stuffed with lobster and red peppers from the special menu and my date had the crab cakes. Even the green beans, creamy spinach and French fries were excellent; all served fresh and piping hot cooked to perfection. We live close by and although I’ve been here before, I need to come back more often! j

Just had lunch at bonefish and everything was perfect from appetizer to dessert. Service was fantastic which is huge for me and on top of that they give you fresh out of the oven bread with delicious olive oil with herbs and cheese

This Bonefish Grill is a great addition to your dinning choices in this outdoor shoping area. The service was fine and attentive. The menus and ambiance are the same as I find all over at Bonefish. Great fish options and very good steak as well for those that want steak at a seafood restaurant. We had lunch here and it was very quiet.

Whenever I’m craving some raw bar I head here. Its the closest thing to me with the freshest oysters and isn’t outrageously high priced. I would recommend they start offering an assortment of sizes however. like myself not everyone likes massive oysters you often get if you don’t specify to try to avoid those. Also a huge fan of the spicy Ahi Tuna bowl. The tuna is always seared to absolute perfection and is accompanied by other delicious flavors in the bowl. The restaurant lighting is somewhat dim but doesn’t really bother me. Staff is always attentive and polite.

Was in town for the Holidays and have been wanting to try this place every time I’m in CT. Great staff. Everyone was friendly, prompt and very knowledgable about the menu. We started with the saucy shrimp followed by the Kobe burger(for him) and the grilled shrimp with scallops, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes for me. Everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Great spot.

This review will be of one of the 3 spots my wife and I stopped by for drinks and apps on Friday while holiday shopping. The bonefish grill was our first stop. It’s located in beautiful ever green crossing in South Windsor. We sat at the bar which was half full at 11:30 am. We were meet by 2 very attentive bar staff. My wife grabbed a glass of their red sangria. Which was very good. I ended up getting a glass of Malbec. We decided to order just one app as later in the day we knew we would stop else where. We order their signature app of bang bang shrimp. I can’t go to bonefish with out ordering it. It came out relatively quick and it’s a large portion. It’s sauce is a mayo and Sriracha type sauce with just enough heat. My wife likes it and she generally doesn’t like things that are too spicy. It reminds me of sauce you would get at a sushi place on a salad with crab meat. Very tasty. I give it 4 stars and not 5 only because we didn’t eat full meals there.

Sooo good! Got the bang bang shrimp tacos with pesto couscous and my mom and aunt got the Lily’s salmon with pearl couscous and cole slaw. Everything was amazing and we ended up getting the bang bang appetizer because the tacos were so good! I

As chain restaurants go, Bonefish Grill is a good value for money with contemporary décor and energetic, attentive service. Red Snapper is one of my favorite types of fish and I was very happy to see it on the menu. The fish was fresh and well prepared. I don’t recall what my husband had but he was very pleased with his dish. The food, service and décor at Bone Fish Grill do not have that chain restaurant feel. You get good food without breaking the bank.

The go-to-place for me when I hang out with fiends near Manchester. Very good martinis! Recommend appetizer Bang Bang shrimp. All seafoods are very fresh! Other meat items are way above average too.

I came tonight with the hubby &10 yr old son. We had 7:30 reservations & were seated immediately at a high top. Service was attentive & polite. My water glass was never empty. We were given nice warm bread & olive oil dip before we ordered, as well as crayons & cute kids activity menu. I loved my meal of fish tacos with sweet mango salsa. Three flavorful big portions of delicious fish & light fillings. Couldn’t finish it! Kids meal was fine, he ate every bit. However, hubby’s scallops were inconsistent. Some burned, some not. When we mentioned this, a polite young man named Casey(manager) came to rectify the situation. We received a second batch of scallops cooked to our liking. Always speak up & give them a chance to fix the problem. Well done.

Great meal on their fixed menu!!! Went here just for a quick bite. The place was very busy for a Tuesday but there was plenty of seating at the bar. I had not been to a Bonefish Grill in quite some time and was surprised to see they had a Tuesday’s only, 3 course fixed priced menu. You have 3 pricing options and all entrees come with salad and desert. I had the shrimp and scallops with was delicious. My companion had the Tuna steak. Portions were reasonable but I will say the tuna steak was a little small. Deserts and salads were very well done. As usual their drinks were great. I had a blueberry vodka drink that came in an ice glass which was a lot of fun. Will definitely be back!

June 13. we were driving home and decided to stop in for a dinner, since the kids were at home with their grandparents. my wife and I were finishing off a day out sans kids, which is extremely rare. we checked in with the front desk, they informed us there would be a 30 minute wait, not a problem, we sat at the bar and had a drink — we caught the tail end of happy hour! after 15 minutes, the buzzer went off and we were shown to our table. half the time, pretty good start. it took a nosedive directly after that. we sat down, got menus, and didn’t see another server or employee at our table for at least 20 minutes. a couple sat at the table next to us 15 minutes after we had been seated and placed their order first. on the other side of us, a couple sat down at around the same time as the couple on the other side… ANDGOTTHEIRFOODBEFOREWEWEREEVENASKEDTOORDER! my wife finally had had enough, and being a more rational person than I, asked the young man seating people if we were going to get a server to help us. he apologized(it wasn’t his fault) but a few minutes later, after what seemed like a bit of confusion among the staff, we got«Steve.» he also apologized, stating that the girl who was supposed to be serving us was tied up in the dining room with something else… it certainly wasn’t us. three minutes later, when he came back with my Mule and white sangria for my wife(she ordered red), he informed us that he was going to be our waiter. that was fine. after all was said and done, and our experience was trashed already, we paid and left. still unsure what the problem was but it was completely unacceptable. likely will wait a while before eating here again.

Don’t believe the hype, at least for Bonefish Grill anyway. We’re humans, we eat with our eyes. Upon first impressions, it’s a nice place. «Contemporary grill chain offering a seafood-centric menu, plus steaks & cocktails.» Nothing more, nothing less. Personally we had a five-star time, I always do with good company. But the dining experience was decidedly a two-star night, especially given the expectations. Our food was mediocre at best. The quality certainly didn’t beckon the pricing. Averaged-sized portions, limited menu. The beer and bread were pretty good, but when those are the high points, it’s really hard to rave about anything else. My grilled salmon was ok at best, it definitely fits the«nothing special» moniker and her kobe burger was underwhelming and left much to be desired. Service though friendly, has been inconsistent.
