Looks like Dave has decided to let Willowbrook handle driving ranges in the area. Lots of dirt being moved around in the site … Not sure what’s going in there, but it’s not a golf course

Formerly Torza’s, Dave’s Golf Range sits on 73.6 of land that has been a driving range since 1955. Dave seems to have it all figured out — Golf balls are old. Free. Cheap, at the very least. Perhaps dug out from a lake and/or pond, I can honestly say I don’t recognize some of the«brands» I am hitting. Needless to say, my distance and accuracy are not properly measured by how far«Bob’s Ball» travels, but hey, its practice. Business is cash only. Dave says«no thank you» to the antics of those crazy credit card companies. The same guy drives the same shitbox truck(Datsun?) with a ball collector attached like a snowplow every so often during the day. It makes for a lovely moving target. …What else is there? No snack bar, no TVs, no music — just some old clubs(from the 70’s…80’s?) to use if you don’t have any and a few artificial tees to tickle your fancy. Sometimes a hot dog truck hangs out in the parking lot during high traffic hours, but that’s the extent of it. Price — something around $ 7 for a small, $ 9 for a medium, and $ 11 or so for a large bucket. Not crazy expensive. Not super cheap. For Dave — profit city. Fun fact, the land(classified as «industrial») is for sale(and has been for some time) and could be repurposed for a hotel, retail, or offices. Only 9.5 million. Any takers?
