I don’t know why I continue to give the place chances. The service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. The waitress disappear for 20 minutes at a time and are no where in sight. The other waitress are chit chatting while the food piles up in the window. I tried the baked ziti and sausage and took 2 bites and pushed it aside. The waitress finally returned and I asked for the check. She didn’t even ask if anything was wrong with all of our meals nearly untouched. I will never ever go to Teddy’s again and I strongly encourage others to do the same. Order a pasta dish from Panera and you will be much more satisfied.

We opted to go to Teddy’s for a change. We typically go to another restaurant in the area, with a similar menu. In retrospect, we should stay with what we KNOW offers great food, as our experience at Teddy’s was a complete let-down. We all had Italian and Greek specialties on the menu. Our side salads were just ok. Although we all liked the chill on the salad I had pieces of brown lettuce. The other two in my party did not. But we all complained of the size of the HUGE, thick, pieces of cucumber and tomato and lettuce. The house dressing was tasteless and too thick. The Greek moussaka was tasty, but greasy. The eggplant Parmesan was terrible… it tasted like breading instead of eggplant. It was coated in too much breading, limp and oily. It was returned! The veal franchise offered tender pieces of meat. However it was slathered in a too thick lemon sauce that was seasoned with way too much dill(dill!!!). I’ve never had mushroom in a franchise. The dish was heavy and thick. Not the typical crispy filets with a light lemony wine sauce I’m used to. Eh! The portions were HUGE. But in my mind, absurdly huge! Each platter was enough to feed a family of four. I say Teddy’s substitutes QUALITY food for HUGE quantity instead. We all hesitated to take our HUGE portions home! Teddy… serve GOOD food and we’ll be a loyal guests. We also had sides of spaghetti with sauce. The pasta seemed reheated, dry, not freshly boiled. The sauce was seasoned with a hint of nutmeg. Yuck! The HUGE thick slices of crispy bread was the best part of the meal! The waitress was not very attentive. We had to ask her to take the returned plate of food off our bill. The atmosphere was comfortable and clean. We will not return.

Pizza is average at best. Have had it on multiple occasions and it is consistent. Not going to wow you by any means. My wife had the manicotti which was good. I recommend staying away from pizzas and grinders and going with their specials like lasagna and the other Italian dishes. Wife was very underwhelmed by her side salad, house dressing was not very good. Service varies from average to horrible so you are better off getting take out than dining in. Stay with the Italian specials otherwise I would not recommend going here.

I like Teddy’s! I usually order a Greek salad with grilled chicken. They’re house dressing is a basic but absolutely delicious Greek dressing. The salad is filled with feta and really yummy overall. Today I was feeling a little naughty and decided to try a small pizza. I would consider this a typical Greek pizza. Not super thin crust, but very thick either. Would have probably gotten a little soggy on the bottom had I not eaten almost fresh out of the oven, so if you’re ordering take out, you may want to order the crust a little well done. I ordered mushrooms and broccoli – very fresh ingredients – definitely hit the spot! The best part is that I think the broccoli was sautéed with garlic and olive oil because it was SO good. So happy this place is across the street from work – it’s the perfect lunch spot!

Need to break this down. Dinner tonight– large bianca pizza with eggplant added. Small pepperoni, bacon and pineapple pizza for the girls. Mozzarella sticks and 4 sodas. Food: — Pizza was good. First and Last has an edge over them on taste, but only just. Teddy’s however doesn’t skimp on ingredients, which makes for a tasty pizza. So for taste, 4 stars. Service: — I think the only reason I tipped our waitress as well as I did is because she brought colouring books and crayons for the girls, and, was pleasant. However, we had to find her for silverware, drink refills, napkins, etc. No one came to pick up our money and I was largely ignored by my waitress and another girl at the register, so I left the money and split. My husband remarked when we were getting the girls in the van«Man that was rotten service». I guess it kinda was. So, 2 stars for service. Cleanliness: — Pretty restaurant but the devil is in the details. One of the plates had broccoli from the last diner on it, the cheese shaker had marinara sauce stained all over it. You get where I’m going. Not too bad overall but, only 3 stars for cleanliness. Value: — Holy Smokes. I think our large bianca with eggplant was $ 22– the small pizza for the girls was I think $ 16 or $ 17. The large seemed smaller than First and Last’s large and the small was a 10 inch. Bit pricey considering this isn’t an upscale restaurant The icing on the cake were the mozzarella sticks. They were the same length as your average mozzarella stick but thicker. We got four… and were charged $ 7.95. LMAO. Are you serious? That’s $ 2/stick. Ridiculous! Soda was $ 2.50 each, even for the girls. Value is 0 stars. And, this is the reason I would never return. I thought First and Last was pricey but these people take the cake… or rather, pie, if you are feeling punny. Total damage was $ 56 plus tip. Average– 2.5 stars but I’m feeling generous… and satiated, so rounding up to 3 stars.

1 of those places I’m not sure how to classify their pizza but I’m going to go with Greek… It’s another thicker crust type pizza in South Windsor which we really enjoy… usually pretty generous with the sauce and cheese though the last few times seemed a bit less than what it’s normally been in the past… not sure if they’ve been changing things or something in recent months(hope not!). Good spot to have for a weekly«go-to» or order-in type spot as they have a deal for every 10 pies, get 1 free! We’ve hit that mark a few times now! Nice atmosphere with a bar with TVs on one side and a pretty good size dining area on the other. It’s more than just a pizza joint as they have a pretty extensive menu and the décor, furniture, lighting, ambiance etc. is actually pretty decent. But I have to admit I haven’t tried anything other than their pizza… yet!

Did they get a new owner? I’ve been going to Teddy’s for 10 years and it has been great. The last 2 times I’ve been there they didn’t even have my pizza in the oven yet when I arrived 20 minutes after calling. Every time I go I order the same thing and I am charged a different price everyttime. Gentleman that works counter is horrible. Pizza was so dry today. Hardly any sauce. It’s sad. I always loved it there but will not go back.

When you order Prime Rib, you should expect a good cut of beef. Didn’t get that. What’s worse is when the owner blames me for not ordering it well done. Unacceptable. Even the waitress was embarrassed. Never returning. Stick to the pizza, where you can count on mediocrity.

Great place to eat lunch. I have been eating at Teddy’s twice a week since 2006. Owners, both Greek, are very nice and know many of their regular customers. The Soufvlaki is by far my favorite dish. Oh, and the salad with the house dressing is to die for.

I’ve only ordered pizza here, so I can’t speak for the entrees. The pizza is ok. It’s not terrible, but not fantastic either. The interior is nice and the staff is friendly. I would not go back as there is far better pizza at a better value elsewhere.

We ordered take-out so that’s not always a great indication of what the food is like but here goes… I ordered baked ziti ala siciliano or something like that. The description says it’s baked with ricotta and sausage. It came in a foil container that is pretty standard in restaurants, maybe a 7 inch dish so it held about 4 cups or so of pasta. Well, there was only about one cup of mediocre sauce(jarred sauce is better) which is just enough to coat the ziti. There was no ricotta or mozzarella in the pasta, just about a half cup of ricotta and a cup of mozzarella spread on top. So basically I paid $ 14 for what cost them about $ 2. I love baked ziti and they should be embarrassed to serve this. I plan to salvage the leftovers by adding my own ricotta and jarred sauce. My mother ordered baked stuffed cod. Can’t remember her comments, maybe something along the line of ‘ok’ but I do remember how small the portion was. Two ping pong balls sized portions of fish was certainly not worth the $ 16. Plus her side order was wrong. My nephew had spaghetti and meatballs and also felt that there wasn’t nearly enough sauce. So, their pizza might be good but I’ll never try it since I’ll never order from here again.

Teddy’s is the kind of family restaurant you go to on a friday night to just grab something that will please anyone in your group. Teddy’s is almost diner fare– it has a great selection of greek/italian favorites, as well as many american classics. My parents love Teddy’s pizza, but myself, I’m not the biggest fan. The crust is always a little too thick/chewy for me, but then again I love thin crust pizza. However, when they get pizza I always get something else that is delicious. Their eggplant grinders are out of this world– the 6 inch is huge and is enough for two meals. The grilled chicken salad with the house dressing is a great lighter option as well. I’ve had several pasta dishes there and have always been pleased! When you go to Teddy’s don’t expect a snazzy, modern interior. While the building is kind of old, the food never tastes it. They have entirely reasonable prices with a great family atmosphere!

They have incredible pizza. I always make a point to stop here for pizza whenever I go back home. Once I ordered a pizza to go and brought it on the plane with me back home. The pizza was so good on plane ride. I usually order the pepperoni and hot peppers, but they do have a variety of classic pizza toppings. The people who work there are always so friendly.
