The Edge Tattoo

Tattoo is great but guy over charged me. My tat took maybe 7 minutes and I know the base charge is $ 50 because the person on the phone told me and he charged me $ 85.

Was so nervous about my first tattoo but because of Lisa I got threw it in a breeze! She is the most down to earth person. I will
Never go to anyone but her for my work! I loved it so much I was back a week

Had my nose pierced here last Friday… deeply regretting it now. My stud was sinking by Sunday morning i called the shop to voice my concerns was told to come in however the piercer couldn’t wait till 6pm (which was the closing hour). Told them I would come in Monday because I was out of town to make back before 5pm. I woke up Monday morning my stud had totally sank into my flesh coming out the opposite direction of my nose blood had clotted overnight and I was in excuriating pain!!! Called the shop but they don’t open till 1pm. Luckily a friend referred me to another piercing shop in West Hartford I Googled them and found out they are the BEST shop out there won numerous awards and they’re are only predominantly a piercing shop. I went there and from one look at my nostril I was rushed to the back room for care. I learnt not only was the stud used the wrong size for my nose it was also OUT DATED!!! The angle of my piercing was Wrong… i was so furious because I had to endure the pain of having that stud removed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME TO THIS SHOP FOR PIERCING.

Went there tonight to get a cartilage piercing done with a friend. I called beforehand so they were expecting us. Angelo who owns the place is awesome, nice, chill, and great to talk to before and after the piercing — side note he also has great taste in music. The work at the shop is super too. They care about the work they do and their clients. I did not feel rush in there at all, even for a simple piercing, really took their time to know what I wanted and where I wanted it. Also very informative about the after care. I had piercings done in the past, but none felt at comfortable and as smoothly as this. Also for a great price. I can’t recommended them enough!!!

Lisa has been working with me from the Edge. She is so incredibly talented. She is patient and kind as well as thoughtful and really personable. I am thrilled to have now gotten my third piece with her and I look forward to working with her in the future.

This afternoon, myself, my sister and my mother chose to get some piercings and headed over to The Edge. My sister and I both got nose piercings and the three of us all got helix piercings. The owner, and our piercer, Angelo, did a fantastic job at answering our questions while being friendly and extremely professional. With three nervous ladies and our entourage, Angelo remained collected, accurate and gentle with each of our piercings. I know my mother was the most nervous yet she thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere, and having a great piercer — we all did. I would have no reservations to recommend The Edge and Angelo to anyone and look forward to return there for future piercings.

This shop is under new managment with a new staff since the last two reviews were written, between my husband and I we have a combined six tattoes by Tom S. and I have multiple pircings by Laura. The desk clerk Kathy is hilarious and always helpfull and the owner Angelo is always willing to discuss tattoo ideas and help you pick art if you dotn already have something in mind. with a very relaxed lounge with great music free coffee and often treats (ususaly provided by myself) along with tons of ink mags to browse while you wait or get inked this place has deffanitly made a turn for the better!
