Fran was amazing. She upgraded us to a bigger cottage. Very clean and perfect for an after-wedding place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is a beautiful hidden gem in the Hamptons. If you’re the kind of person who wants to be part of the Hamptons«scene» and hit the night clubs, its probably not for you. If you’re the kind of person who loves the beach, the pool and having a BBQ with friends, its wonderful, and for the price, you won’t find anything better out here. Fran, the owner, is delightful and extremely helpful. She has beach chairs, umbrellas, and even beach towels if the need them, all at no extra charge. There’s also news papers in the front office. The rooms are set up like little cottages, not at all a traditional motel. You drive up to the little cottage and inside the room, you’ll typically find two large, comfy beds, two tables, a nice, new dresser and television and a kitchenette. The bathroom is in the back, left hand corner and its a good size with a stand up shower. The room as an AC unit but luckily, the Easterner’s cottages are cool and shady so AC isn’t necessarily at night(in my experience.) The rooms are simple and cute, they have everything you need for a weekend. Its a great place, secluded and just a short walk to the beach on Peconic Road. That beach may seem too rocky to lounge on at first but its actually got a great flat, sandy spot about 200 – 300 years down the beach path if you turn left. Enjoy!

Loved this motel! The individual cottages are lovely! Fran, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very clean and cozy! We loved the full kitchenette! These little cottages made our Hamptons stay very comfortable! Would highly recommend!!!

Where should I start? I woke up at 4am to a green bug on the head board. The room reeked of mildew(gross). Fran, the woman who checked us in refused to tell us how to turn on the heat so we had to heat the room up via the gas range in unit, very dangerous! The shower including the shower liner was visibly dirty and there’s a corner outside of the shower between the shower and wall heater which was caked with dirt(very disgusting). I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my dog! I paid $ 152 with tax via Priceline and I will be asking for a complete refund! Also heard a rooster throughout entire stay WTF?!

Certainly nothing fancy here. What you do get is a laid back experience that doesn’t charge you three arms and two legs. The owners are very local and have been around quite some time, so it would be wise of you to instigate conversation for advice. If you want to be seen in the Hamptons, go elsewhere. Take your snobbery to another part of town. If you want a relaxed place to stay, this will work.
