Worst experience of my life. Called ahead to reserve a cake for my son’s birthday, came in the store and they«lost the cake». Disgusting. Apparently some teenage employee sold the cake to somebody else when they knew it had my name on it and was reserved. DONOTGOHERE, They will rip you off and pull a bait and switch. HORRIBLE!!!

The ice cream here is good and with all the mix ins you have an almost unlimited choice of flavors. That said, I do not feel it is anything special, quite pricey, and the fact that it is a corporation rather than a local business makes me less likely go here instead of a locally owned place like Uhlmans or Trombettas Creamery– both excellent choices.

HORRIBLE! Do not special order cakes from this location. My wife went into the store and ordered a cake for our son’s birthday. On Sunday May 3rd I went in to pick it up only to find out they did NOT have our order. The kicker here is there was literally 5 – 7 other people in the store also having missing cakes. really! To boot the manager/owner not sure what he was, said ok I can have your cake ready in 45 minutes, umm ok. Then 50 minutes later he says you are ready and try’s to charge me FULL price for the cake! Are you kidding me. I told him I wasn’t paying for this cake to which he says to me, I can’t give you this cake for free, Yes you can its called a good business practice, this guy is a joke! I paid $ 20 for my cake and will never return to this store! I recommend going somewhere else for a special order cake!

I love this place, they have the best ice cream. I’m such a fan that whenever I’m in Chicago or Schereville, IN visiting family, I always stop in. The prices are reasonable, the ice cream is great and the service is fantastic. Yes, although I live more than 10 miles away from south borough, Cold Stone is always worth the drive.

I like my ice cream full of candy bits and love all the flavor combination possibilities there are at Cold Stone. They also have some very good sundaes. There’s something for everyone here. The ice cream is fine. It does taste artificially flavored and that’s not a problem for me. Never had poor service here and don’t find that their prices are that far off from other ice cream places I’ve been too. Try birthday cake with butterfingers, white chocolate chips, snickers. Yum!

Nice place but if you have allergies then don’t visit ANY cold stone creamery. The name of the place literally comes from the fact that the employees mix your ice cream toppings on a cold stone(the counter) which obviously by the end of the day has had a lot of toppings pass by it. So if you have a nut, berry, etc allergy then don’t risk going to a cold stone creamery because the chances are high that your allergy will be in your cup after they mix it. Or rather don’t pick any toppings so they scoop right into the cup. When I learned this I now know I can never take my mother to any of these locations due to her food allergies.

Nice variety of flavors. Lots of toppings. Pretty good ice-cream. They aren’t cheap. Service was fine. Have inside and outside seating if you want to.

My daughter had 4 teeth pulled this morning during a snowstorm and I called to see if they were open. The manager said they opened at 11-, I mentioned our situation and he said — I’m here– come on by! She is in 7 th heaven.

Thumbs up for the whole fold in toppings thing, it keeps the Oreo cookies still crunchy even though all mixed in. Thumbs down for the waxy film their ice cream gives your mouth that takes a full brushing and double dose of the heavy duty mouth wash to get rid of. I don’t even want to know why there ice cream dose that.

I really want to rate this higher than two stars due to the quality of service and the general helpfulness of the employees, but I just can’t bring myself to. As with all Cold Stones, the quality of the ice cream is sub-par. In addition, you’ll end up paying a lot more than you should given the quality of the product, especially considering the availability of cheaper options elsewhere. If you are particularly a fan of their process of folding in toppings, Cold Stone might be for you, but for me, I show up whenever I want a convenient place to get a frappé.

I was introduced to Cold Stone before it hit Mass when I was visiting another state. Si I was excited when this one opened close by where I live. I;ve been to the Southborough one several times and always been pleased. The last tiime I got a birthday cake for my daughter. It was delicious. We always get the largest size ice cream. Everytime we go I order a different creation and I have not been disappointed. The only problem is the counter help. There is only one girl there that is excellent. I gave her a good tip because all the times I’ve been there she has been the most friendly, helpful, goes out of her way to help-suggests flavors, etc. She should be manager-even the manager didn’t seem like he wanted to be there.

I just couldn’t bring myself to ordering a «like it» size, so I ordered a small instead. The jell-o butterscotch pudding(they also offered chocolate pudding) ice cream was delicious, but I just think the prices are way too much for ice cream. Almost $ 4.00 for a small– that seems a bit exorbitant. I didn’t even get a fixin with my ice cream, either. The butterscotch ice cream would draw me in again, but not too often.

I love the fun idea of this ice cream shop. Usually, I am not a fan of chains, but I do like this place. The ice cream is good and the creations are fun. It is expensive, $ 5 for a small, but it’s a nice treat. This location is really small, so if it’s busy, there will be no tables. This is the only location I’ve been to.
