What an awesome restaurant! I tried it for the first time yesterday and was so pleased. The mushroom Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. My friend and I shared the Mississippi Mud Pie and it’s to die for. If you love chocolate, don’t miss this one! Leslie, the owner, is very friendly and came over and introduced herself to me. She explained the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, which is a plus. Thyme and Place is a real gem in the Sandhills. So glad I tried it!

This is a delightful place. Friendly service and comfortable ambience. The curry chicken salad was excellent and the specialty brownie I had(which included corn flakes and rice krispies) changed my life for the better. If you have not yet checked this place out, you should.

Very enjoyable. Friendly service, fresh food done in unique fashion. Meals to go are an additional best of kind. Went for breakfast and left with dinners for guests later next week.

Horribly slow service. Never received my tea. Waited 30 minutes for the food. We had ordered quiche and the speciality bbq pulled pork… when it came out we were informed they were out of the main dish we’d ordered leaving us very hungry. Quiche was tasty but will not be returning here

This place is outstanding! The service was great and the food is delicious. I had the salmon quinoa cake with a side salad with green goddess dressing. The combination of the dill and lemon made it amazing. Loved this place! It’s a new favorite

I was skeptical because they didn’t have bacon and eggs, etc. I ordered the Mexican quiche and a croissant. My husband got another quiche(Lenore I believe), the ham biscuits and the hash browns. Everything was delicious!!! So glad we tried it. Got a homemade pumpkin cheesecake pop tart waiting for me in the fridge. Mostly everything is made from scratch. Excellent, genuine service. Recommend this local joint tucked away in the corner!!!

Amazing restaurant! The food is so fresh, coffee is delicious, and wait staff is super friendly. The menu is small but they offered to make whatever breakfast we desired! Best chocolate croissant and best quiche! Also the coffee is amazing. Melanie, our server started the day off so friendly. Great start to the weekend with this place! Highly recommended!

I consider myself a foodie but I missed this one completely. Blame it on work, whatever; I didn’t realize that this place had opened until some friends brought me there. The layout is beautiful and creative. They’re using just a part of a huge facility on the western edge of Southern Pines. The staff was welcoming, informative and friendly. They seem to sense that they’re part of something magical. My friends had already been there several times(it’s only been open a few weeks) and on their recommendation I had the Salmon/Quinoa Cake made with fresh salmon combined with quinoa lemon zest, and spices. It was served with a cucumber relish. Bottom line… it was not only delicious but it also saved gastronomic room for dessert and that is the owner’s forte. From what a friend told me she was trained as a baker, partnered with a very creative chef and between the two of them is a wonderful lunch. For dessert I opted for the flour-less Chocolate Torte… bottom line, I’m in. Thank you, Food Gods, who are still bringing wonderful restaurants to our area. PS: After opening during the first week of August, I noticed on Trip Advisor that it was already the 23rd best restaurant out of 93 in the area… You go, GIRLS!

Lovely folks with fresh food and an awesome location! Homemade soups and a local seasonal menu. The gazpacho and vichyssoise were incredible. I enjoyed the chicken terrine with artichoke hearts and roasted pepper. I hope to see 1more gluten free options as this place grows. I also look forward to dining here for breakfast
