Jax Kar Wash

We absolutely adore Jax car wash. There is not one negative thing to say about any of their establishments. The staff is friendly and attentive and provide quality service. Their prices are very reasonable and it is well worth every cent that you pay. We actually enjoy coming to Jax. Awesome place!

Always great service when I come to this location! The service advisors are ALWAYS pleasant, as well as the Quality control reps. The unlimited plan is a great deal and really comes in handy during the winter. Wash as much as I want for 1 price… genius! They are a bit busy in the summer… but that’s to be expected and no fault of theirs. Just be prepared for a little wait.

After the complaint they were very quick to send me reply and I got in touch with Kari who kindly instructed me to go there again and they would fix the problem right away.
She provided my info to the manager in Southfield and I asked for the manager who said they will give 110% and they did! The car was honestly 100 times cleaner than before, I could not believe. It was so shiny!
Amazing job, some time over next couple of weeks I will go again for detailing of my other car.
Give this place a chance and if something goes wrong ask for the manager and things will be done the right way.

Great attention to detail. They actually cleaned my grungy wheel wells that other carwashes avoid. The employees are courteous and eager, unlike other places. Wish they had a few more locations.

After waiting 15 minutes for them to fix the car wash assembly line, they then half washed the car. The back was still dirty. I will not be going back, $ 10 for wash and wax was not worth it.

Not a fan of this location every time I come here the towel dry is never good and the windows on my car are left with water spots. Also other times the staff are not knowledgable about the situation when going for my free wax since its within the 3 month guarantee the employee charged my credit card saying there was no such thing. I will make sure to skip this location and go to west bloomfield location instead.

I came here today for the first time to get the biggest package, both the full exterior and full interior package and they hand washed the car. It wasn’t cheap, in fact I was surprised how much it was but I frankly didn’t have time to clean the car thoroughly myself and I really needed it done ASAP. They literally seemed to have two guys working on my car for more than an hour. I was very happy with the end result, they had gathered all my stuff together in one place and the seats of the car haven’t been that clean since I bought the car!
They have decent amenities as well, free wifi and coffee and they sell a wide range of soda’s, candy and cleaning supplies.
Everyone was very friendly and sociable, I was very happy with the service I recieved.

I love Jax! They offer detailing and in my opinion, the best car wash in town! The lines are pretty long, but they go fast. You can also sign up for their club and accumulate free car washes and rewards points. Don’t forget to tip the guys at the end of the wash.

Good service, but somewhat disorganized. I come here regularly, but usually for only a basic exterior wash. This particular Day, it seemed that they had some good deals going on so I agreed for full-​service detail. The way that it was explained to me at the time of purchase is that I would do only the basic today, but still purchase the full-​service (today) at the discount price and make the appt to return later for detailing. I told the clerk that I wanted carpet shampoo when i came back for the detail, but today just wash, wax and tire shine. she told me that was all included with the service today along with light interior clean (dashboard wipedown + vac) scribbled something on the windshield and sent me on my way. So i said okay, seemed quick & simple.
When I pulled my car up to be cleaned, the guy asked me if I knew where to go for the lobby area. I said no and he gestured the direction and told me i would be called when my car was ready, providing no other info…
I went to the lobby and sat. After about 25 minutes, I thought it was taking a little long so I went to the desk and asked the clerk (a different one) about my car. She told me that I was supposed to have come to the desk and check in so that they’d know to call me up. I am certain that she saw me walk in and didnt bother to greet or ask if she could help, perhaps too occupied with her obviously personal phone call :-(so she went to check the status of my car and returned to tell me that a full-​service detail had been started and it would be another 5 minutes. By this time it had been about a little over half hr. I explained to her what my purchase was and that today wasnt supposed to be the full service. She said that the clerk who did the purchase hadn’t specified that and asked if I wanted to see the manager. I told her that’d probably be best. I ended up not reporting to the manager because she then she told me that I would still get a full-​service detail later If i wanted because that is what is indicated on my receipt… However, shampooing was not indicated on my receipt for the upcoming detail as I had requested.
Although confused and annoyed, I have no complaints about the cleaning of my car. They did do a good job which is why I give the rating of fair. Also it’s cool that they have their own mini car accessory/​car care shop.
