Why have online ordering if you’re not going to use it? The worst experience ever! Do go here unless you have a hour to kill

I am very disappointed with this location. I call my order of 130 wings in at 3pm. The manager told me the order would be ready at 6:05pm. Order was not ready until 6:35pm. I can’t understand mismanagement of the work flow. I really find it interesting that when their mismanagement gets me the stink eye from the staff because I have a problem with order not ready. I have to rethink my uses of Wingstop in the future.

I went in at 7pm on a weekday night with a wing craving, because I can satisfy my low-carb/sugar diet here, right?(just kidding, those sauces are awesome, but hello sugar!) Actually, I Unilocaled this place after deciding that I could probably get better quality and price than the Jet’s Pizza near my house. instead of 8 wings for $ 8.99. I was in the area and 10 weeks for $ 7.99 sounded like a good place to start. I couldn’t get through by phone, but since I was nearby I just place my order in person. Not a lot of eat ins, lots of carryouts and only a 10 minute wait. Score! I loved the concept of two sauces and one dip for the small order, and took the advice of man at the counter and did Lousiana Rub + Hickory Smoked(?), plus blue cheese. The wings were on the small size, not as small as the stupid tiny wings at Buffalo Wild Wings(which I HATE. That place is a hell hole of food options), but the sauces were off the hook! I ate half of them in the parking lot(it was dark, I could hide my gluttony ;) I would definitely come back if I was in the mood for wings and was in the area. If I wanted some big and juicy wings, I might have to go to my parent’s house, a soul food place, or New Center Eatery. If you have any wing suggestions, holla at me!

WIngstop has several positive attributes: it’s open until midnight, reasonably priced, has(mostly) good wing sauces, and prepares your food fresh, something most wing places do not do. But in some ways the good is wrapped up with the bad: fresh prep means 15 – 20 minute wait times, and lines of unhappy customers lurking on the benches in front of the counter. Although several people appeared to have phoned in their orders to avoid this, it didn’t seem to help. Also, although it was very late in the day when I came in, several sides were out of stock. In any case, I grabbed 20 wings with a side of slaw to go, putting in an order at 11:45 on a Friday night that came out of the kitchen at 12:05.(Caveat: they don’t put napkins or utensils in the bag, so unless you want to wipe your hands and mouth with, say, a hotel towel, make sure to get those on your own.) As for the food, the wings are standard deep-fried, medium-sized with a few misshapen ones that probably should be pulled and thrown away. I did the atomic(thick, hot, good), the Louisiana rub(also good), and the cajun. Either the latter was a mistake, or their idea of cajun is an oily garlic butter. Whatever it was, it wasn’t good. But, as the prophet Meatloaf once told us, two outta three ain’t bad. Slaw was conventional fast food slaw. So, as a drunken fill-me-up, this hit the spot. Not sure that I’d use it Wingstop a lunch option given some better choices nearby.

Took a long time over 20 min to get my food. Cashier was in a bad mood and short with me. The fries were soggy and very salty. The wings were luke warm same with the fries. Exspensive for the quality of service and food. Wont go again

First off, I placed an order on-line at 7:20, the confirmation email stated it would be ready for pick up at 7:44 p.m. I arrived at 7:45 and paid for the order. For some reason it was not ready until about 8:15. Excuse me, over an hour wait for an on-line order. I ordered the 30 piece family combo(10 garlic parmesan classic wings, 10 lemon pepper classic wings and 10 Louisianan rub boneless wings, fries and veggie sticks). I arrived back home 4.5 miles away and had no boneless chicken at all in the bag. $ 35, an hour wait and missing food. Everyone that came in was told if they order classic wings it would be a 45 minute wait. The workers let the phone ring at 10 times before anyone would answer it while standing around talking about what they wanted to buy at the gas station on the corner. I will not be returning.

I had the worst experience with this location. I called in an order. The order taker kept talking to someone in the background. She kept telling me to repeat my order. 10 minutes after taking my order she called me back using a cellphone. I did not recognize the name on the caller ID so I almost did not answer. She was calling to say«we all out of that sauce you wanted.» The most popular sauce, honey bbq. How do you run out of that. My husband went to get the order. It was not ready and the clerk would not even look customers in the face while she was waiting on them? She handed him a cup and looked the other way? Unprofessional and strange all at the same time. Once we got the order home of couse it was missing something. Fries. I didn’t even both to call them. I just won’t be back.

Love this place. The food is always fresh … never just sitting out under a heat lamp. If you’re in a hurry, I recommend ordering in advance, as it takes some time to create perfection. There are a wide variety of sauces and I’ve liked every one I’ve tried … just depends on how adventurous you want to be. The staff busses the tables for you and keeps the place looking great. I’d highly recommend Wing Stop in Southfield!

I have to revise my rating to Forget It. Wingstop has great wings, but this location #657 is the absolute worst when it comes to ordering. If you use the online ordering or the app — good luck in anyone at the Southfield location actually seeing it. Multiple times I have ordered and the location either didn’t receive the order to print, or the«lines were busy» and my order never came through. They use a laptop set up on a counter to receive online and app orders but if that laptop isn’t on or plugged in as was the case 9÷29÷2015, your order doesn’t get made. Since it’s a 20 minute wait for wings and my lunch is only 30 minutes, I’ll take my business elsewhere. It’s been a chronic problem for about a year because I think the franchise owner is too cheap to buy equipment that works, and for all of the times my order wasn’t processed — 6 out of the last 10, maybe? — I’ve gotten exactly one free order for my troubles. I guess it’s my fault I keep going back, right? Well, I won’t anymore.

The food is great. I have eaten here a bunch of times, and everyone is friendly and helpful. I have learned that it’s a good idea to order ahead — this is not like the fast food places that cook the food and then wait for you to come order it — it’s cooked to order. If you’re in a hurry, order online or call it in.

I will give them credit for making my food fresh when ordered. However, this resulted in a 15 to 20 minute wait for my food. This seems excessive for this counter ordering style of food establishment. The food was decent. I ordered traditional wings with a dry rub with seasoned french fries. I would go back, but would not really recommend to others. Overall it was OK.

Ordered food online and went 30 minutes later on my lunch break to pick it up, but they never checked their emails to see if they had any orders. I had to wait 20 extra minutes after walking in and having the cashier tell me «oh I’m sorry I forgot to check the email. Can you just tell me what you want? We’ll make them now but it may take a while because we have „more“ meat on our wings.» The food is great here not a doubt but the service is terrible. I recommend calling in the order to be safe, or there just needs to be new management.

Terrible customer services! I’ve tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt however after three tries I’m done. The first time the cashier was to busy trying to flirt with a guy behind me she never took my order so I left. The second time they said 14mins, I waited 20 and was told oh it will be another 10mins. After sitting another 20mins I asked how much longer and was told another 15mins, I finally left. This last time they couldn’t find my order because the computer was down. Don’t waste your time! Go to Bdubs!!!

I had a wing combo. The wings were great but not a fan of the fries. My friend said they love it though so it just depends on the person. But the wings were fire!!!

What an amazing gift to my stomach this place is. Delicious wings in so many varieties in gave me anxiety. I eventually settled on some variation of barbecue as well as Louisiana Rub. I was pleasantly surprised when the Louisianan Rub flavor was deep fried, covered in spices and drenched in butter. I had originally thought the wings got their name after being rubbed by a man from Louisiana but that was just an Internet myth. Fifteen wings, a side of cole slaw and a water only put me back ten dollars or so because it was wing Tuesday. See, most chain wing places like that crappy place named after a Buffalo have wing Wednesdays where they offer up deals that aren’t really deals. But Wing Stop had wings for 50 cents. They do it each week on Monday and Tuesday which is double the Louisiana-rubbing pleasure. So do yourself a favor and get buttered up at Wing Stop. Your stomach will thank you, your heart will hate you, and your food won’t get rubbed by a man from the South. P. S. this location sells beer and has Patron shots for $ 7 because nothing says ‘club blowing up on a Tuesday’ like a $ 7 Patron shot at 12:15.

While the wings were somewhat tasty despite the obvious over seasoning, the service was slow and lacksidaical. The overall cleanliness of the establishment was sub-par. Tables were sticky, tray was wet and stick, even the ketchup bottle was sticky. I was also disappointed in the one stop napkin dispenser at the counter which offered bathroom paper towel as the only option. I would consider coming back after the management starts taking it’s sanitization seriously. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is compared to the dining area.

Um… why isn’t there a get 5 wings free with any purchase check-in like the Livonia location? Can you say, «traffic magnet»? I love Wingstop but this is where this location and I part ways.

First let me say I was not enthused when I found out that Wing Stop was opening up a location a stones throw from my home. So imagine this Tim Horton’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Just Baked and now Wing Stop. Really? Are you kidding me? Now the issue is not the establishments, the service or what they serve. The issue is that I like them. I like them ALL; so much so that I’m there often enough to experience my size 8 becoming a little snug. Needless to say when I saw the sign go up all I could do is shake my head in disbelief. Just one more thing for me to have to be strong enough to say no to. On to the wings! Well, what can I say? Yeahhh, they’re good and the flavored Sprite(that reminds me of Kool Aid) I won’t speak on because again, I really like it. I usually place my order my phone. And I highly recommend you do the same. The food is made to order so if you choose to order upon arrival you’ll have a 17 minute wait on your hands. I’m not too impressed with the side options so I default to the fries which are«bout that life»(great tasting in other words). The service I’d rate a B+. I can tell it becomes frustrating for the employees when call– ins arrive too early and their order isn’t ready but they act as if it should be(I’m referring to myself LOL). Now the flavors of wings they offer is pretty decent. I’ve had the classic wings in Lemon Pepper, Parmesan and Hawaiian. My favorite is Lemon Pepper. A great balance between the seasoning and spices. They also have an area for you to dine in. And although I’ve not exercised that option the place is always clean enough for me to do so. I’ve never been in and the dining area wasn’t up to my standard(and it’s pretty high for restaurant cleanliness). With so much traffic in and out they really do a great job of keeping the restaurant clean. So my advice is to indulge. Try the wings I suggested. Save yourself a trip and just order 25 with different flavors so you’ll know which ones you’ll eventually be addicted to!

WATERPLEASE! This place does not offer free water, if you have seating and need to quench your thirst after an atomic wing Management and Staff will let you just burn up. I asked for a free water and was refused. I like to do business with places that have some class and this place has none.

Have stopped in twice so far to try different sauces and garlic parmesan by far is our favorite. The honey BBQ was second and wasn’t impressed with the Louisiana rub or Cajun(which tasted like hot sauce with some spices sprinkled on). Season fries are good both salty & sweet.
