Long time since I have stepped into this store. I noticed they cleaned up some but not much. What did surprise me was the high prices on mostly everything. The scrub pads I use was 3.70 and I went down the street at Walmart where they are only 1.98 regular price. Even Target prices are cheaper then this place. I feel bad for customers who actually think they are getting a good price. This is not the Big Lots that I remember and I won’t be back.

Wow, what a difference! I found that the people of the Downriver area are cheated in both quality and variety in the goods at this Big Lots. Little of the fancy goods or home décor or good book deals. I guess they think the Downriver Rats don’t need nice stuff!

Fun fact: This Big Lots has the most disgusting bathroom in the history of public restrooms I’ve visited. I usually come here to browse, not so much to buy things. When I do buy things, they’re usually products from the food section. I can find some great deals on promotional-packaged snacks, cereals and drinks. Basically things that differ from the product’s normal packaging, like Easter-themed Pop Tarts or products that didn’t hit it big with consumers that need to be closed out. They do have great deals on shampoo, body wash and other bathroom essentials. The store is extremely dirty and worn. It’s seen better days. The employees do the best they can considering their clientele and surrounding.
