I bought a gas fireplace insert from this company in 2009. Very Expensive, the best. I have had nothing but trouble with it. It had a remote(extra charge). After the 1st winter I have had nothing but trouble. The fire melted the wires for the receptor for the remote, making it worth less. The fireplace has started up on it’s own, no one near. They came and changed the ignition swithch(no remote this time) The service man had an attitude, saying it was my fault that all this happened!!!#%%#$? with in 30 days stopped working. It has not worked since 2010. I call today to have a repairman come out to look at it $ 239.00 is the charge for a service call not including repairs or products needed. Their customer service is horrible. Bad attitudes, inferior products and awful service… Stay away. Find someone else!

We bought our kitchen appliances at CAFD in Southington several years ago. Prior to visiting CAFD, I went to Sears and did not have a very good experience. When the Sears salesperson eventually came to help me, she wasn’t much help at all and she had to keep going back and forth to someone else to get the answers. The salesperson at CAFD was very knowledgeable and offered several options based on my needs. The customer service was excellent and the price was right so we wound up buying all of our kitchen appliances at CAFD. Warranties and rebates were explained in detail and we were on our way! We were very happy with the transaction, the delivery, setup and removal of our old appliances. We would not hesitate to go to CAFD first if we are ever in need of a grill, fireplace or sound system. Their prices are reasonable for the quality product that they have in stock. Their showroom is beautiful, clean, bright and quite extensive. Just walk through and you will be impressed!
