We have tried this venue for two batches of homemade wine. Very fun process but the wine is awful. Not even good by cheap box wine standards. And I don’t mind cheap box wine! The first time, we figured maybe it was our fault, so tried it again. Fun experience, but now we have many bottles of crappy wine in our basement. Anyone want one?

I was totally dissatisfied with the venue. It was after my mother’s funeral that we had family and friends come. Kuerig machine set up I thought was tacky and the one tray of crackers and cheese and veg platters for 60 people were not even ready when we arrived or enough. Staff was not friendly and for the cost was not worth it. Very embarrassing for the occasion that we had it for.

This is an awesome and unique place to go to! For the price it’s definitely worth it! I used a groupon to make wine which ended up being a steal. The wine was delicious! Better than what I would buy in the liquor store and a lot of it! I still have several bottles left over since my bottling in February. The process is fun and the staff is very nice and knowledgable. I will definitely be returning!

Always on the lookout for local homebrew store options, so we stopped in to check this place out. Fridge had a smaller than average selection of yeasts but most of the main ones you would need(and also their lunches), some extract kits in the back, small selection of equipment, kegging bits, and they do have some grains in stock. Helpful and friendly but they sort of follow you around the store, like they don’t encourage browsing. If you want to try your hand at wine or beer making and don’t want to make the initial equipment investment Cork & Brew does a lot of brew on premise programs where you can go there and make wine or beer and come back in a few weeks(or however long it takes to ferment) and then bottle it.

My wife actually attended the wine making class. I joined her on the next visit to Cork & Brew. Little did I know I would be bottling the wine, corking it, labeling it, putting that little plastic thing around the neck of the bottle in some kind of heated mini MRI machine designed for bottles. But…it was FUN! The staff is great, none pressure type environment! I am going for it in a couple months! Plus you got to love Maverick! He’s the boxer that walks around and lounges on the couch. They are opening an additional store across the street with food too!

This place is very small but with many people working who ask you every 5 seconds if you need help. We were literally asked by every employee in the store at least twice. When we did finally ask a question we were told…“ummm, I’m not sure, maybe you could google it”. Seriously? Why even ask if we need help if you don’t actually know anything? I’m guessing they make their money more on the wine and beer making classes they offer versus actual supply sales. Hopefully the instructors of those classes are more knowledgeable than the girls working the floor!
