This was a nice convenient spot to grab some sandwiches. We were going to go hiking in Hubbard park(like 5 mins away) so we came here before to get some food. They were decently sized and had they didn’t skimp on the toppings. Overall very yummy. I can see myself coming back here again the next time I go hiking.

My favorite deli in the area. The grinders are very well proportioned and are made fresh. They also are very friendly.

My company uses deli 66 because they deliver. Thats about all they do well. I have had the chicken parm it tasted like a chicken nugget with sauce on it. I tried the sausage it was bland. Tried the steak and cheese it had no other toppings and was a steak’em slabbed on bread. Most recently I got a turkey sandwich where they toasted the bread to char and still thought it was fine to send it out. The salads are iceburg lettuce thats on its way to brown. I am a poor recent college grad and i would rather buy my lunch than take the free deli 66 lunch my work offers.

This is one of those places that gets a lot of business but isn’t really polarizing or interesting enough to warrant Unilocal reviews. So I’m here to tell you that if you want a sandwich, Deli 66 has you covered. More than one person in my office goes here more than once a week for lunch, so I’ve jumped in a few times. The reviews for deli 66 are right on– they’ve got average sandwiches. Literally no one in the history of America has turned down an average sandwich for lunch when that’s what they wanted. I guarantee it.

If I lived closer, I would eat every meal here. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is casual.

I don’t normally give 3 stars to a place I like, but it’s representative of what it is. It is a no frills –deli-. That’s it… sliced meats and cheeses between two slices of bread. But they do it cleanly and consistently. If you have a rut for your lunch sandwiches and you like their work, this is the place. Not too many ways to go wrong with roast beast, lettuce tomato, mayo and american. They do not do specials, house specialties, or anything like that. You have to know what you want. Specials and specialties are a way of getting your customers to try something different. I have one critisisim, who charges extra for cheese? These guys do! But all in all, I sometimes eat here every day if I’m in a rut. I’ve been going here since the mid 80s and have NEVER had a bad experience.

Please come here for a sandwich insteat of subway. They fill up their sandwiches with a ton of fillings and not count out each piece of item that subway does The bread is always fresh. This place is almost always busy but I think that’s because it’s just that.good.

I’ve never actually set foot in here, but I work nearby and sometimes a group of us order, so they deliver. I think it might be a $ 20 minimum, but I’m not completely sure. Roast Beef on a hard roll is a solid bet.

been here a bunch of times, never been wowed but also never disgusted — a good sign. Deli 66 has good food, reasonable prices, nice people, a lot of tables and they do catering/platters, sandwiches. teh chicken salad with cranberries is good i hear. i see they get a good crowd sometimes for breakfast and i need to stop in and check that out sometime soon.

Simple, reasonably priced. Not going to impress anybody, but its a solid place to have lunch. The price for a sandwich is about the price as subway but you get a lot more meat. I can’t believe I wrote that 4 years ago! Unbelievable how fast time goes by. Fortunately time has not changed Deli 66. The sandwiches are still rock solid. I especially recommend the Corned Beef Ruben, and the baked potato wedges.

There’s just something about eating lunch at a no-frills local eatery and being called«sweetie» and«darling». It is refreshing. My sandwich was simple(tuna on rye, she asked if I wanted it toasted! What a nice touch). the potato salad wasn’t too mayo-ey, and the atmosphere was very chill. The only issue was that the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Are you allowed to smoke indoors still in CT? Also, they claimed the soup of the day was chicken orzo or something but it was more like chicken, mushy noodles, and carrots. Definitely seemed to be from a can, so why not just call it whatever Campbell’s does? I would recommend this place for lunch and I’m sure the locals already know about it. I mean really, what else is there in town?
