Waiting so long for our waitress. Busy talking to her co workers. ordered wine that never came. she forgot. Linguine clams were all oil. No flavor. gentleman behind the counter could barely move when I tried to pay my check. Vinny’s pizza or Spartans would have been a better choice. Skip this place

You can never go wrong at this restaurant! Whether you select the standard menu items or the daily specials, everything is freshly prepared and excellent! Drinks and drink specials are changed frequently. Great neighborhood ambience! Chefs are graduates of the CIA and food shows their skill in preparations of appetizers to entrees and desserts. Waitresses are very personable and attentive.

I’ve lived in the area for years and I didn’t know this place was even here! I came here with a group for an anniversary dinner and walked out totally stuffed and impressed. Not one person of our group of 14 people complained about 1 thing! I ordered the Short Ribs Bruschetta, which I was so eager to eat, I forgot to take a picture. But I took a picture of the after they were gone! For dinner I ordered the pan seared salmon(picture included) which was fresh and delicious. Absolutely will go back again and tell my friends about.

Fratelli’s is my favorite Italian restaurant in our local area. Great food and portions and very fair prices.

Below average food, above average price, mediocre service. Still trying to find decent places to eat around Southington. Read the other reviews and decided to check Fratelli’s out. Wife, kid and I did an early dinner at opening time, around 4 pm on a Saturday. Décor is basic cheap Italian restaurant. Booths have the padding packed down to the point of the frames cutting off circulation in your thighs. Service was friendly, but mostly clueless. Coffee cup left empty, dishes left on table between courses far too long, etc. The food: Well, nothing to write home about. Wife shared the organic salmon with kid, I had the lobster stuffed shrimp, we shared a bruschetta. The Bruschetta was probably the worst I’ve had in a while. Canned tomatoes with some sort of unappealing mozzarella cheese, all microwaved on soggy bread. $ 9.00 was crazy high for this. Wife thought the salmon was ok, not great, but at $ 23.00 was way over priced. The lobster stuffed shrimp were ample, but tough, with the stuffing being mostly some sort of breading with a hint of lobster. The shrimp themselves were large, but way over cooked and tough. They reminded me of something you would get out of the freezer section of Costco. I forget the exact price, but it was north of $ 23.00. It was not that good. The coffee was just plain vile, and surprisingly cold. I think if you got the early bird specials, before 5:30 pm, like the chicken parm, etc, for $ 12.00 or so, you might call the overall experience satisfactory.(As long as your really don’t care about the quality of the food, atmosphere, or service.) Don’t see a return engagement in their future.

I felt euphoric after eating here. Every bit of it was excellent. Wonderful service. I spent just about $ 100 on two people and I do not feel like it wasn’t completely worth it.

Excellent food and service. Good value. Salad was fresh, pasta was hot and the sauce was just right. We will be back soon. Thanks Mary Ann for such a great recommendation.

Great food, great staff, small restaurant. What does that mean? Secret is out and everyone and their brother knows about this place, so get there at 4:30 for dinner or make reservations otherwise you aren’t eating! We had a wonderful server named Chelsea, she was just awesome! Which is good because her service was as good as the food! We had Linguini with white clam sauce, Penne ala Vodka, Shrimp cocktail All absolutely wonderful! And the bread for the table! Its brought in from Brooklyn and it is yummy! Remember RESERVATIONS! It will be well worth it!

This used to be our go to place but we haven’t been here recently. The service was subpar and the eggplant was mushy. My husband had to get up and give his water glass to the bar tender because the waitress was talking to other employees; mind you it was 12:30 in the afternoon and the restaurant was empty. We were the only customers in the main dining room.

When I go out I don’t typically seek out Italian food since we eat a decent amount of it at home. But when I do, I will be heading to Fratelli’s! My family and I went to this restaurant when I was a little kid, but we have been there in over a decade so we decided to visit the past… and we were so glad we did! Atmosphere: –Small restaurant, but a nice cozy feel. Also a cute bar up in the front with a few booths. Staff: –Out waitress was wonderful. She was friendly, courteous and offered some great suggestions to make sure our dining experience was the best it could be. Food: –The bread was delicios. –The salad was freshly and nicely chilled upon serving. –Dinner was AWESOME! The portions were very generous(we all took leftovers home). We had the penne a la vodka(fantastic sauce), the Chicken Fratelli(beautifully breaded and cooked to perfection) and Zuppa di Clams as an entrée(per our waitress’s suggestions that all of the clams were fresh) served over linguini(the pasta and clams tasted great). The seasoning was superb! The Chicken Fratelli also came with the best garlic smashed potatoes I have ever had. Price: –Everything was so reasonable considering you get two meals out of the deal, plus a salad or soup included. Bottom Line: –If you want some awesome Italian cuisine, you would be remiss if you didn’t get Fratelli’s a try! We are so glad that we went back and we intend on returning soon!

Fratelli’s is small and cozy but not cramped. It is neat and clean with nice artwork on the walls. The music is popular and mellow but not boring. The food is delicious. I had one of the most expensive main dishes: Vegetable Risotto and Pan Fried Sea Scallops for $ 24. Our waitress was friendly and intelligent. Warning: Fratelli’s is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We found this out the hard way one time. On the other days of the week it opens at 4PM.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to, New York City included. Intimate neighborhood setting, great food & super friendly & attentive service. Many great choices on the menu but the puttanesca is absolutely wonderful.

Ate here for the first time June 6th. I was very happy with the food as well as the service. Linguine with clams excellent. The atmosphere was quiet and family oriented with a nice bar in the front.

We go here all the time — great food ! The owners make themselves visible and interact. They added a small bar with seats which added to the atmosphere– good decision since they added more available seats. We will continue to frequent this restaurant. The only drawback, some of the longtime servers are not always friendly.

This is incredible Italian food at it’s finast. Friendly staff and everything is made from scratch. We have tried a good portion of the menu and haven’t been dissapointed yet. If the service seems a little slow it’s only because everything is prepared when ordered and believe me, if you have never been here, it’s definately worth the wait. If you’re looking for an amazing home made red gravy and great food, look no further!

One of the best resturants I’ve been to in a long time. Excellent food, service, wines and prices. We loved our booth and waitress. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals, the apps and salads… delicious home made bread. Good cocktails, great desserts. This little gem is a definite frequent repeat place. I’m such a pain in the neck about resturants, very particular, but this resturant pleased me in everyway. Over the top great service.

Went to Fratellis on Saturday night for my first time. We are in our early 30’s and had a date night… the crowd was definitely an older crowd… but I didn’t care. The food was excellent. We ordered a carafe of the house Chianti, started with the stuffed peppers and shared the almond crusted scrod and shrimp as well as the chicken picatta. Both were excellent. We were too full for dessert. I will absolutely go back.

Southington’s hidden gem. I am a horrible person, since I sincerely try not to tell people about this place because I worry they’ll ruin my favorite restaurant. I order the pasta alfredo along with a delicious peach martini. Their seafood is delicious as well as the gnocchi(which you have to beg for since its not on the menu).

Truly a sensation. My husband and I were in town for a few days and happened upon Fratelli’s(thankfully) after initially searching for pizza and coming up empty. The atmosphere is adorable and intimate. I had the chicken piccata and he had the lasagna, and both were the best I’ve ever had of both dishes(and we are choosy diners). The sauces on them were exceptional. My pinot grigio was great and hubs enjoyed his Jack & Coke(which was not kiddie-sized). Had wonderful service, too. We’d absolutely go back again and highly recommend!
