I only go in Charming Charlie when I need a specific color accessory quick. I feel like it’s over priced and it’s overwhelming just to go in and shop around. I’m sure the teens and 20 somethings love it. The store is color coded in sections which makes shopping easier for me. But it reminds of being in a store of a lot of knick-knacks. Be sure to check out the clearance section for some good deals. Happy Shopping.

Charming Charlie is one of those hit or miss stores. If you have never been, I call it the Garanimals sotre, because the place is sectioned off my color. Clothing and accessories are set up all by color, which does save time when shopping. The clearance section is always a must to spend time– you will find it near the fitting rooms. I can always find accessories at a good price. The employees are hit or miss, either really friendly or act as if they don’t want to help. I don’t shop that often there, so that is ok. The employees won’t stop me from buying fun accessories for a good price.

Worst service at a Charming Charlie’s ever. The person who rang us up rang our purchase up in correctly and I had a coupon to use. The coupon was on my phone so she took it to punch in the discount than when I asked for my phone back she just slid it back at me on the counter instead of handing it back to me. She also screw up ringing up my purchase but I had not paid for it yet, but she still had to ring it as a return and rebuy everything? Not sure what she did but took 17 minutes to ring up 4 items.

This place has really stepped their game up in the last 2 years. Lots of color choices if you’re looking for something specific. I was impressed by the shoe collection for the first time. Worth a look for 20 to 30 year olds.

I love coming here to grab a fun last minute sundress or piece of jewelry! They have everything organized and color coordinated. The ladies behind the counter are very friendly and prices are reasonable. Definitely check it out if you’re cursing around Southlake– hey it’s better than spending loads of moolah at a pricey boutique!

I find this jewelry store a little better than Claire’s or Aldo Accessories as their jewelry is geared towards very well accessorized adults. As mentioned previously, their store is sectioned off by color and really has every color in the rainbow. It is chalk full of anything and everything you might need from scarfs, jewelry, clothes and even shoes but it really specializes in accessories. This place is like any major chain store, very corporate where everything is the same so if you like something in one color, chances are it comes in the other colors that they offer. BONUS! What I don’t like though is that their classic sections of black and white are lacking A LOT. There is a lot of gold tones in those sections.(I look terrible in gold) I honestly wish there was a bigger variety in that section. I found I had an easier time finding things in the colored sectioned that I liked then in the black and white sections. I also wish that their employees were more helpful. They seemed to be more concerned about checking people out and speaking to each other than really being helpful. i walked around that store like FOUR times and no one asked me if I was looking for something in particular.(I was and found it on my fourth round the store.) All in all, if you are looking for something in a pinch or something inexpensive for prom or something… I would definitely check here.

It is what it is: a cheap jewelry store. Think a 20 something’s Claires. However, I saw tons of older ladies in here, although I’m not sure where they are planning to wear huge owl shaped cocktails rings but I digress… This shop is organized by color, so it makes it fun to look around and easy to find what you’re looking for. They have jewelry, sunglasses, scarves, a few chintzy dresses, cheap shoes(that LOOK cheap), handbags and other accessories. It would be nice to get a fun necklace, or maybe a gift. The staff was nice, and didn’t seem annoyed that I was toting around my 5 year old niece even though she was touching a lot of the merchandise. I appreciated not getting the evil eye!

I love going to Charming Charlie. I got someone a gift from another location. Her necklace broke into many pieces 2 weeks after she received it. I went to this location to return it, the staff was hesitant to replace the necklace even when I purchased it 2 weeks prior and had my receipt. She finally exchanged it. I will not be returning to this location.

Going into Sam Moon gives me a panic attack so when I heard about Charming Charlie I was a little hesitant. Mountainous piles of flimsy jewelry and women violently pushing you out of the way to get their paws on a handbag are not my idea of a good time. Charming Charlie is really refreshing. I love that the accessories are organized around the store by color. Genius idea! Lots of cute, fun jewelry and purses. Affordable prices and a great place to find gifts, plus no panic attack involved. Well worth the drive.

So I’m doing this review of the Southlake Charming Charlie right on the cuffs of the Arlington one(which I went to the day before). Once again, I get why women adore this place, but it’s not exactly my bag(I don’t think they sell anything for men at this place). So if you want to see a fantastic review of what a Charming Charlie is like, I’d suggest reading Lisa P.‘s review of the Arlington location. In this review, I’m just going to tell you what I feel are the differences between the Southlake and Arlington locations. First of all, I think the Southlake location is slightly smaller, and not as well laid out(the Arlington location has separate«rooms with chandeliers» where this location has a typical store layout). Though the staff was friendly and greeted us as we arrived, easily I could tell that the customer service superstars were at the Arlington location. Finally, this store didn’t look as organized as the Arlington location. Items were still sorted by color, but it just looked messy in places. Overall, it seems that this location will do in a pinch(and I’m sure my girlfriend will visit this location often because of the convenience), but I think you’d be better off going to the one in Arlington for a superior experience.
