Tastefully Yours Cakes

I ordered my sons 4^th birthday cake and I must say she exceeded my expectations. The cake was beautifully decorated and also tasted great. Very moist and favorable. I will be using her services again! Thanks so much!

We drove all the way from Austin to pick up this gorgeous cake. Ruth has been making cakes for a good friend and we were so impressed by her skills. The cake not only looked amazing, but it tasted amazing as well.

I don’t even know where to begin! I wish Unilocal had more than 5 stars because Ruth Robbins is AWESOME! Our wedding was July 26, 2013 and I had both of our cakes done by Ruth and EVERYONE still talks about how our cakes were the best cakes that they have ever tasted. The wedding cake was white velvet cake with strawberry filling and our groom’s cake was chocolate Kahlua cake with chocolate ganache! YUMMM
I wanted purple ribbon on the bottom of each tier (which you have to provide all the extras… cake topper, flowers, ribbon and so on) and I was so busy with last minute details that it slipped my mind. I called Ruth to let her know to not worry about putting ribbon on because I forgot to buy it. When I went into the reception room, I saw our cakes and almost died! Our wedding cake was so beautiful that I did not want to cut into it AND there was ribbon on the bottom of each tier! The details on it were amazing! Needless to say… our cake topper is in our freezer and I CANNOT wait until our 1 year anniversary this year so we can eat it :)
I will call Ruth Robbins for ALL of my cake needs. She is the nicest and easiest person to work with! My husband’s birthday is today an I have ordered him a small cake of the same thing that we had for his groom’s cake… chocolate Kahlua cake with chocolate ganache. If you are looking for a cake vendor for your wedding, birthday, baby shower… ANYTHING I recommend Ruth Robbins. I promise you will not be disappointed and everyone will not stop talking about your cake!

Ruth did our bride and groom cakes for our wedding a few months ago and we are STILL getting compliments from guests on how incredible our cakes were. I come from a family of great bakers, so I’ll be honest and admit I’m kind of a cake snob. Knowing this, you shouldn’t take it lightly when I say Ruth’s cakes are phenomenal and the best cakes I have ever had. Combine that with great customer service and someone who is so friendly, easy to work with, AND offers great prices? It’s a no-​brainer. The bridal cake was alternating layers of amaretto and strawberry cream, and my husband had a chocolate orange groom’s cake. They were both so, so good. I cannot recommend Ruth highly enough, especially to brides who are looking for a high-​quality wedding cake without a huge price tag.
