Subway

This place doesn’t give you much compared to other subways I’ve been to. Didn’t feel like I was getting my money’s worth. When my husband and I walked in no one was behind the counter so what are the employees doing?
On top of that our sandwiches were quite small compared to when we order at other locations. Seems like this location is not very well managed. And my soup was not filled up all the way either.
A waste of money. Will be going to a different location were they won’t skimp out on my sandwich and soup.

This Subway has practices that are from the Great Depression. They barely put anything on the bread. Luckily my meat was the oven roasted chicken breast. I’m surprised they didn’t cut the meat in half. I asked for spinach, he out on one layer of spinach. I had to ask for more, he gave me a few extra leafs. I asked for tomato, I got 4 slices on the footling. I asked for olives, he put like. 6 pieces of olive on the footlong. I laughed and asked him what was going on. He said Subway directs them to put 6 pieces of olive in a footlong. I told him that this was the skimpiest Subway I’ve ever been to and I eat at Subway about 4 times a week. I should have walked out without buying the sandwich, but my time was tight and I was hungry. I’ll NEVER go back to this location.

If I could, I would give them ZERO stars, the only thing good about Subway is they have good variety of Bread and cook it at their store– which makes the place smell real good, other then that nothing exciting about Subway other then that its better then Jimmy Johns (Which was VERY bland) My biggest grip other then slow service is they are VERY skimpy with their meats! I suppose if you like only veggies on your sandwich that is fine with you, but if I order a sandwich with meat on it I want at the very least a decent amount of meat on it!

Wish I could give zero stars. Hours posted are until 9pm. Walk in at 8:50 and informed that I can’t be helped because they «close in 5 minutes». I’m sure the owner would be pleased to know the staff turns customers away during hours they are supposed to be open. This is the second tone at this location I was turned away… last time it was 8:45. Get new staff that understands what «operating hours» are and not staff goes home hours.
To add to this review… when I went in I was also told a young man standing in the location was the last «customer» who could be served. He continued to stand there chatting (while no one made him a sandwich) obviously a friend of one of the workers and not a customer at all! And while I sat in my car writing this review I watched four additional customers pull up and be turned away also. Hope the owner sees this… and if the owner was one of the employees in there… shame on you!

So… its your standard Subway place. It just has a weird feel because Spanaway is such a weird town.
The food was as expected… I deducted a star because the service was… off shall we say? 2 people working behind the counter at lunch time. The woman got confused when I tried to order 3 sandwiches at once to go… so we had to walk through it with her.
