Listen. Does HuHot have quality food? Not in the slightest. But that doesn’t mean this isn’t a quality place to go. It’s like $ 13.99 for all you can eat noodles, and I for one, am all for that deal. I’ve been here about 4 times, and had a great time each visit. If anything, this place is just more fun than delicious. You get to make your own noodle creations based on your own tastes, plus get a little show when they«cook» your food. One of the dudes flipped a piece of beef onto my plate, which was cute. And as I said, you can eat as much or as little as you want. I recommend trying their sauce combos first because my first few attempts were truly disasters. I highly recommend the pad thai combo, been my all-time favorite so far. As I said, HuHot is just a fun experience. Don’t come here looking for top quality beef and fresh, organic veggies. It’s not fresh, it’s all frozen. But that doesn’t mean the taste isn’t decent and the experience isn’t good. Just try it, it’s worth it.

I’ve taken my wife here several times. As a person with celiac disease and other food allergies, it can be difficult to find a place where she can eat. If you inform your waiter of any allergies, they will bring a special bowl and clear a special section of the grill. They go out of the way to accommodate special needs. The times we’ve gone have been off-hours, so there wasn’t really a wait. The server was friendly and used the Coke remix machine to make different mixes. With all the different sauces and ingredients available, the combinations are endless. Always add more sauce than you think you need. Or just follow the recipe guides. My favorite is the green curry. Will be going back as often as possible.

Pretty good. Quite the variety. I think it was a little more on the expensive side but not too much.

Love this place. You can pick out your food or order from the menu. Love it. I really like the the lo mean. The orange chicken is to die for.

I’m not impressed. The food tastes freezer burned and is saturated in preventative as far the sauces and meats go. They may even be using food color to make the meat look better. The servers are completely ignorant. We were ready for drink refills asked twice and she forgot. Then we just stood up and asked her for our check which took 10 minutes to do, I gave her my card and she went a served four people while keeping my card in her pocket. We waited an additional 18 minutes, and again I stood up and said will you please run by card so I can get out of here? She finally get that I was angry. I called the manager and he didn’t call me back, because he was so busy. I called again and insisted to speak with him. They apologized and sent us tickets for two meals with sides. It’s been 3 months and I’m just not interested in experiencing that again. My kids won’t take the tickets either.

I love Mongolian grills. HuHot did not disappoint! We went for lunch and the restaurant had about 10 other tables seated. Raphael gave us awesome service(He should get a bonus) and we had a great overall experience. My favorite part was that it was all you can eat, meaning I could experiment. The only negative was the fact that their recipes weren’t on par. The pad Thai was just good enough to eat. I prefer to make my own concoctions though. I will be coming back to HuHot and bringing my friends! These places are the best!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Having a shellfish allergy, I long ago accepted that I simply could not go to «grill» type restaurants(you choose your frozen ingredients and they cook it in front of you on a flat grill) because of the risk of cross contamination between other guests food and my own. A friend told me about this place and the fact that they ask you if you have any allergies before hand. Figured it was worth a shot. They immediately asked if we had any allergies. She then brought me a separate bowl(yellow, for the cooks to be aware of an allergy), so I was super impressed with that. Then came the actual grill. I cannot rave enough of how impressed I was with this. They scrubbed, sanitized, cleaned and then repeated, sectioned off the area where my plate would be, closed it off completely, then got new spatulas to work with. At one point the cook accidentally touched one of the spatulas to a section of the grill that wasn’t closed off — he immediately got a new one. HA!!! I am just so beyond thrilled with this. As if the treatment and service wasn’t great enough, the food is AMAZING. Fresh and clean, tons of sauce options and even have sauce combination suggestions on a easy board. There are cards with suggested mixtures, such as «low calorie», «vegetarian», «gluten free», the list goes on. The atmosphere is fun, nice and clean, bright and family friendly, yet just fine for an alone date night. I’ll absolutely be going again.

This place was great. As far as Mongolian grills go you have a lot of options. Whether it be meat, seafood, fruits and vegetables and a plethora of sauces(like literally around 30) whatever you can think of its yours. However the sauce recipe cards aren’t necessarily good so be aware of those. I also found that I needed to be generous with the sauce as all of it cooked out if you didn’t add enough leaving your stir fry dry. So like 6 to 8 ladles will do the trick. The music was meh… Wish it was some sort of Asian music that fit the theme of the restaurant instead of he modern stuff they were playing. Overall it was great. Definitely coming back.

Not a bad little grill. Friendly service, fair prices, and if you know what you’re doing you can make some great food combinations. Also, be sure to try the campfire desert, it’s quaint but delicious!

If I eat at HuHot my wife won’t kiss my for 2 – 3 days. I just put too many ladles full of garlic on all my stuff. It’s easy to make your stuff taste nasty so if you are a first timer follow their recipes and if what you make is gross don’t feel obligated to eat it this isn’t your moms house. I have been to better Mongolian grills but this is a pretty predictable chain restaurant experience and quality. You aren’t going to be blown away but you probably won’t be totally disappointed either. Basically if your willing to eat at Chilli’s you will like HuHot. If you like Applebees you will think this is the best place you have ever been. Something that always drives me crazy is when employees mix business and personal and draw me into their personal lives. For example we were eating there and and there were several employees around us cleaning up and they were getting all into their personal relationship drama. They were loud and I felt like they were stealing the experience I had paid for from me. Instead of me being able to talk to my wife in our booth instead it was like inside baseball and teen high school drama. Stick to business and take those dumb conversations somewhere else.

Meh… I think this place is a little overrated. It’s good, but I’ve had better«Mongolian» grill. We’ve dined here twice. The first time we were the only customers in sight, as it was a snowy Monday night. The restaurant was eerily quiet, but of course there weren’t any lines at the grill! The second time we ate here it was with two other couples on a Friday night. It was SUPER busy and we had to wait around 20 minutes before being seated. Grill lines were long and the restaurant was very loud. I have severe food allergies to shellfish and some nuts; I never had any worries about my food being cross-contaminated on the grill, but I was a little bit weary of food you pick out yourself from the lines. Some of the meats had pieces of other meats in it. One of the sauces had a huge piece of krab in it, which I luckily saw before smothering my food with. Although these issues are customer related, their great attention to detail when it comes to allergies one would hope they would have a better way of keeping all the foods separate on the line. Hats off to the guys at the grill! They are always working as fast and as efficiently as they can, and sometimes they’ll even do little tricks with their spatulas.

Typical Mongolian grill. The veggies and meats were fresh. Minus one star for dirty unattended restaurant. Minus one star for bad customer service and expensive prices($ 14 for to-go box of noodles and veggies). I would probably give this place another try if I happened to be passing through springville and hungry… other than that I would go out of my way.

Delicious Mongolian grill style food! All you can eat, you get a bowl and fill it with the veggies, meats and noodles you want. Then take it to the many many sauces, and either use one of their sauce recipes or create your own. You then take it to the grill where they grill it up for you and serve it up in a bowl. The food is delicious, there’s a wide variety of ingredients, and more sauces than you could want! I absolutely love the food here, it was so delicious. I’ll definitely be going back.

I like the idea that you don’t have to wait long for your food. But if you happen to put the wrong sauce combination on then it spoils the meal. If I could make one thing better here it would be to wipe down the buffet table often and change out the serving spoons it get rather sticky and the floor was sticky.

This is a really good Mongolian Grill. It is typical and that it is an all-you-can-eat buffet, and you create your own plate for them to cook. However, they have an unusual and good selection of meats and vegetables that I have not seen at other places. For those with picky children who will not eat Asian food, they also offer macaroni and cheese as well as chicken strips. The Decour is tasteful and modern, and the staff is very friendly. They seem to really want your business. It may be a little difficult to find, but if you can find the Fresh Market grocery store, it is in the same building complex on the east side.

Still good food but the service is just awful. Went with 2 people who hadn’t been before and the lazy server said well just ask your friend how it works cause I have to get this table. It was also pretty slow that day. The grill guys are awesome so nothing against them just the servers who really only need to get drinks and pre bus the table so we don’t get bogged down with plates

I’m not really sure what to say about this restaurant. For one thing, it’s one of the only options in Spanish Fork for a sit-down restaurant, so there’s that.(Seriously, Spanish Fork? Get it together.) For another, they have a $ 30 deal that gives you two meals and 2 tickets to the local theater, so you can’t beat that for a date. All of which is great. But really, it’s a Mongolian grill. They have proteins, vegetables, noodles and sauces, which you put in a bowl and have cooked. It’s a perfectly fine grill. Lots of choices, especially for sauces and proteins, which is nice. They also have recipes for the less adventurous. So, really, it’s a perfectly okay restaurant if you’re craving a fairly healthy Asian experience. And there’s one of those coke machines with all the flavors, so that’s awesome. That said, you’re not allowed to use it. You just have to tell your waiter or waitress what you want to drink, which lessens the experience a little for me, but still good. The ambiance was fairly nice and the cooks are great, but the service definitely was not. We had to track down our own napkins and the waiter kept harassing us and asking us if we were done eating after our second trip to the grill. Might be worth visiting again if you can find someone who’s not annoyed that you’re at the restaurant.

This is an all you can eat Mongolian Grill. It’s one of the better ones I’ve ever been too. They have a ton of meat and fish choices as well as a lot of vegetable choices. When we went they had salmon, catfish, muscles, beef, pork, chicken, and crab. Then all the vegetables you can imagine. One of the more unique things they have are the sauces. They have more sauces then I’ve ever seen at a Mongolian grill. They have cards you can pick up before you go through the line putting your stuff together that give you recipe suggestions as well as sauce combinations that are good. It was nice to have that direction instead of just randomly throwing in a bunch of sauces that I don’t know of. At $ 12.95 for dinner it’s a little pricey, but it’s all you can eat and you can definitely get your money’s worth. It’s one of the best put together Mongolian grill’s I have been too.

If you are in the mood for some good Asian fare, this is not the place for you. HuHot is a buffet-style, create-your-own Stir Fry restaurant. The ambiance is nice, with some colorful paintings on the wall, nice mood lighting, and semi-comfortable seating. But the good stops there. The food here was lackluster at best. The noodles were mushy, and the meats, such as the beef, razor thin, and tough to chew. There is a variety of sauces to choose from, but the final cooked product yielded no taste of the sauces I chose. I had two plates of very different food. The first was a seafood dish, the second a more American style with beef and sausage. I had two very different sauces and really could tell no difference between the two. The only taste that even presented itself was that of the sausage. I am always excited when there is a new restaurant to try in town, but this was a very forgettable experience, not to mention, high priced. For my wife and I it was $ 42.00 including tip. We did, however get two sodas and a side of Egg Rolls. Take your money to Panda Express. It will be money better spent.

I was going to say, «This place is amazing,» but I think it’s been done. Plus, it’s not full-on amazing. It’s pretty good — even bordering on great. But, not amazing. Please don’t come here expecting amazing, or you’ll leave disappointed. It’s a buffet, for the most part. They have other menu items, but I’m not really sure why. I haven’t ever seen anyone order anything but the buffet. At $ 8.99 for lunch, it’s pricey, but it’s also all you can eat. You can load up a new bowl as many times as you want. And trust me, you’ll need at least two trips to get the full experience. The first time through will be an experiment; likely a regrettable one once you realize where you went wrong, and what you wish you would have added. Then you’ll go back and build the real meal. Plus, there is no way one of their tiny bowls holds more than a cup and a half of anything. Do what I do, and use two bowls — one for just noodles. They have a thousand different choices on the bar, including the standards seen in any Mongolian BBQ, and many that I haven’t seen before — like cilantro, fresh or pickled jalapenos, and your choice of noodles. There’s also Krab, pork, chicken, or beef in the first section. Then come the veggies, the sauces(more on that later), and the post-fry accompaniments like shredded coconut, crunchy noodles, nuts, etc. Now, the sauces. They are the true stars of HuHot, and have been well-labeled so that you don’t make any accidental additions. Some are very spicy. They even offer cards which show you exactly what combinations to use to achieve the taste you want. Their instructional marketing is genius, and very effective. The staff here is intent on ensuring your experience is a good one — not just the wait staff, but the grill-masters, as well as Management. We had several people stop by our table to make sure we had all we needed, and knew what to do next. Our waiter was fantastic, keeping our flavored sodas full at all times, and being johnny-on-it with the check once he knew we were ready.(Yes, they have the Magic Soda Machine!) It’s a cute place, with interesting murals everywhere. The flow of the restaurant is well planned, nicely accommodating those sitting, and those heading back and forth from the buffet. The only improvements I would like to see happen would be for them to cut the veggies(ie. green peppers, onions) in smaller, bite-sized pieces. I felt that I was eating an entire side of a pepper, and round of onion. Also, the cilantro has always been a bit brown, and should definitely be more fresh. It’s far better than the other Mongolian BBQ in the area. So, if you’re in the mood for the ‘Q and trying to decide between them, pick this one. I’m kind of surprised it’s a chain.
