I ordered from this place twice while working in the area. Both times I was buying pizzas for my crew. The people working were very nice and all of my guys loved the pizza. I personally am very picky about pizza, and I truly loved the pizza. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was going to try this place for the 1st time today. They had a pizza roll and a veggie roll that I wanted to try. I asked for one of each. They stated they couldn’t do that because you had to buy 2 of the same kind. Guess what NO I don’t. That is like a restaurant telling me that even though they have whole wheat bread they can only make my grill cheese on white bread. I walked out and won’t go back.

I’ve been this Serpico quite a few times for lunch. They have about 9 lunch specials. All of them are under $ 10 and come with a salad. Food always tastes great. Pasta is always cooked well, al dente, the way it should be. Better get there early though. This place really fills up fast!

After moving to the area we were in a desperate search for pizza. After reading the reviews we wanted to check it out. We called ahead and were pleasantly surprised when our pizzas were ready to go. The crust is good. chewy. But, I feel the pizza was slightly undercooked. But, the worst part? Canned mushrooms. WTF. At least use fresh ingredients. The pepperoni, sausage and cheese seemed like stuff they bought at Safeway. Guess we were too used to the shops in Baltimore city who make most of their own product, or at least source it better. Unlikely to return.

Great Serpico special Agree that it’s one of the better pizzas in town. The pep pizza had a completely different taste –heavy oregano — in the sauce. Kids didn’t like it. It was just different so heads up Still good!

Standby when I’m in the area. Everything I have had is good to very good. Pasta lunch specials are good. They have pizza by the slice. They have a «taco pizza» that has a lot of fans. Serpico is what i call«semi service» You place your order at the counter and pay and walk off with your drink to find a table or booth. The staff brings your food and then clears when you leave. It makes for a quick lunch, even if you want to sit down — or you can hang around for over an hour, like we did today. It’s not fancy, but it covers the basics very well, clean, good prices, very good service, great food.

An afternoon of tasting cider and beer will give you a pizza craving like no other, and we were thrilled to see a local restaurant just a couple of miles away. It was clean, well-lit and welcoming, though the menu on the wall was curiously incomplete(no prices and many items were missing.) I grabbed a takeout menu instead and we scrutinized it, then finally decided to test the kitchen’s prowess with a plain cheese pizza and a Greek salad — two simple dishes that are often lackluster but stand out at a truly great restaurant. They didn’t stand out here, but they were decent. The pizza had a nice, thin crust, lightly charred and chewy on the outside, flavorful sauce and a pleasing cheese ratio. The salad had great toppings — ripe tomatoes, crumbled feta, olives, cucumber — but took a nosedive with iceberg lettuce and only partially recovered with the homemade oregano vinaigrette. The atmosphere inside is a little disjointed: beautiful handpainted murals on the walls, but cheap standard booths and no table service. Still, the price was right($ 20 fed three people and we took pizza home) and the food was solid. If l lived nearby, it would probably be my go-to when I didn’t feel like cooking!

Best pizza around! Crunchy crust and perfect amount of sauce! Stay away from the salads.

Best pizza I’ve had in Maryland(which unfortunately is not high praise) however Serpico has some good food. Friendly staff and good garlic bread. Been there a few times now and have yet to be disappointed!

You want the truth about Serpicos? Okay… here goes. Fantastic. I have always gotten good(quick) service. The prices are good, the staff is friendly, the food is fantastic. I live and work nearby so I’ve had the luxury of trying a number of different things and nothing has disappointed. I highly recommend this establishment.

My parents live in Monkton so this is their fav pizza joint in the area. I’ve only ever gotten carry out but it’s great every time. The staff is super friendly and my order has always been ready quickly. Love their cheese pizza(boring, I know), has the right amount of cheese to sauce and the crust is perfect. I’m also a fan of the meatball sub. Highly recommend this place!

First time here. We had house salad with tuna, chicken wings & pizza. All were excellent. We will be back.

Awesome pizza — their spaghetti pizza is to die for and a great value — one slice is a large meal. Their eggplant parm sandwich is excellent too

Best cheese pizza north of Shawan road. Crust is just right, not too thin and not too doughy, with the perfect amount of cheese and great sauce. Definitely worth the extra few minutes in the car.

After reading the reviews for this place I wanted to try it for myself. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza to dine. The seating area is really nice and spacious. Now the pizza was ok. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse. I’m not sure I would go out of my way to visit this place but I would definitely dine here if I were in the area again.

Serpico’s has great pizza and pasta. Subs are ok and meatball aren’t amazing but everything else is really good. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you this pizza isn’t good. The sauce is tasty and cheese is good. Not best in the world but some of bet in MD I’d say.

This review is only for their pizza, especially the cheese pies. Every time we go, regardless of what we plan to get, we order pizza. It is far and away the best crust, best sauce and most reasonable amount of cheese anywhere north of Baltimore. My wife is originally from Queens and this is the only place she’s found that she loves and doesn’t have to special order to get right. Eat in or take out, it’s the best every time. The rest of the food looks good too, but we’ll probably never know.

I decided to give this place another chance. This is the pizza joint nearest my house, the most convenient, and(??) the highest-reviewed around. Plus, you know, I was really jonesing for a pie. I repent my decision. The salad was … lettucey. If I were a fan of chopped iceberg I’d be I’m heaven, but no. The vegetable pizza(yeah, I know what you’re gonna say, but I’m hopeful to someday find a good one) was bland. And wet. The crust and sauce, like I said before, isn’t as good as frozen pizza at home. And SO wet. I’m gonna take the rest for lunch tomorrow and Sriracha it up, but I’m gonna need to drain each piece individually on paper towels when I get home. Eww. May I learn my lesson this time.

Definitely recommend coming here if you like Italian food. Serpico Pizza & Pasta is tucked away in the Sparks Village shopping center. If you’re going north of York Road, you can’t turn directly into Fila Way, so you’re going to have to make a left on Sparks Valley Road, which twirls around to Fila Way. This is the same village where Dunkin’ Donuts and Ojas Wellness Center currently resides. I went here a little after 5 pm on the weekday, where business seemed to be stagnant. Around the restaurant are nice-sized booths for the use of enjoying a delicious meal. If you’re ordering out, sitting down in these pleasant seats makes the wait that less painful. When I came up to the counter to order, I had a couple of different foods I wanted to get, but in the end I got the Shrimp Alfredo($ 15.95) to go. If I had to get Shrimp Alfredo from anywhere in the Baltimore area, I will most likely get it from Serpico. The meal came with reasonably-sized Shrimp(the photo doesn’t do enough justice), cooked-to-tenderness fettuccine, and savory sauce. The dinner roll that came with the Shrimp Alfredo put the finishing touches on a pleasing meal that made my stomach satiated. That one serving was more than enough. If I’m in the area, I will definitely make another trip here. Good food, good service = happy customer and stomach.
