39 North Marketplace

My wife and I volunteer here and work the cooking demenstration amphitheatre. The marketplace is located in victorian square in sparks. If you remember where the old farmers market used to be, close to great basin brewery, that is where it is now. I am going to start off with the cooking demenstration, which starts at 5:30pm. It lasts 5 min to an hour and you get a sample of what they cooked. Tonight they made Italian fried rice. They also provide you with the recipe. And did i mention it is free. I love free! The Dr re are dozen as of arts and craft vendors as well as fruit and veggie vendors. Cantina los tres hombres sell margaritas out of a slush machine, and they have opened up a new patio area with a live band. Great Basin also had a live band. This farmers market is family friendly, and not full of drinking 25 year olds. I highly recommend. Coming here. Give it a shot.
