My husband and I hate it when servers ask if we want our change because that is asking for a tip. We normally tip for takeout but prefer to do it voluntarily. Tonight the server came out to get the money before my husband had it counted out, so he handed her just enough to pay the bill. She asked if he wanted the change, and he hesitated and said yes(intending to get the tip ready before she came back with the food). And he did give her the tip when she came back with the food. But I guess that was too late. When we got home he discovered his sandwich was loaded up so many hot peppers the first bite burned his mouth. This is a menu item he’s had many times before without peppers in it, and peppers are not mentioned in the menu description. Eating out is starting to get ugly with the servers battling the customers.

Don’t think the caddy had not been moved in a long time as it had muck under it. Asked waiter for more napkins and ranch dressing, but he forgot, but was sited singing to a table. We reminded him and it took so long that all the salads were eaten except for mine, still waiting for ranch. Three of us had the steak. I can anything so I muscled thru, but the other 2 guests only ate half as it was really tough. My mashed garlic potatoes were so lumpy I had to mash them myself, just like being at home. Waiter brought bills, and had a beer on the wrong ticket, and when questioned, said, well its only a dollar, so one guest paid the other in cash. Our waiter Steven W. was either in his first day, or should consider another profession. Here’s 6 people who will not return.

I have to start by saying that when the waitress said she was new, I had my doubts we were going to have an enjoyable meal. I was totally wrong. Lisa was amazing. My wife is allergic to ALOT of foods, not her choice but we have to deal with it. When we braught this to Lisa’s attention she not only told us how much she understood, she payed attn and took us very seriously. She assisted my wife with her ordering and took the time to explain what was in the food and what control the cooks had to make changes to her order. Before the meals were served the manager came out and chatted with us and again, backed up Lisa and we had a wonderful meal with two very close friends. Applebee’s has it going on in this location. The seating staff was on point and the whole crew is a team player. We wll be returning again and again. Thanks Applebee’s you made our night.

We were very disappointed in our Applebee’s two for $ 20 meal tonight The salad was very good but our riblets we’re not that outstanding. There’s a lot of little bones in them and they were not easy to eat. I would suggest that you do not order the riblets there I think they used to be boneless. Our waitress was very nice and service was quick. We paid our check with the kiosk there but did not get a receipt had to wait for the waitress and we did not have time to wait. Think next time we go out for a quick dinner we may choose something else.

This has got to be the worse experience I have ever had at an Applebee’s. The server never came back, some one else brought out our food that was cold and over cooked. Not to mention the table next to us was seated 5 mins after we ordered and they got their food 5 mins before us. The manager walks around talking to the hostess and doesn’t seem to care about the guest. This could be my breaking point with Applebee’s.

Delivered food then never came back. No drink refills etc. Was more important to stand and talk to the table behind us about whatever. Walked by the table on the way to other several times. She was training another girl but still very poor service.

Well, I haven’t been here in a while, so I thought I would check out dessert. I used to love the blondies. This was awful! I can’t believe they changed the dessert that much. The only eatible thing about it was the ice cream. Never coming back to an Applebee’s. P. S. My server never showed to take my cash. Another server walked by putting her hair in a ponytail and a long strand of her hair fell in my water glass on my table. They require your hair pulled back so it doesn’t get in people’s food. Maybe you should go to a bathroom or somewhere else if you need to fix it.

Wow! We normally avoid the chains, but it feels more like an independent business. We went for $ 6.99 burgers, they were great. Mine had pulled pork and fresh jalapeños on it. My wife had hash browns and an egg on hers. Fabulous service, would like more craft beer choices, but overall very satisfied and surprised.

Applebee’s used to be a good restaurant. Emphasis on «used to be». It was empty when we went there but it was rather late so that didn’t surprise me. The hostess greeted us and we were seated right away. It was several minutes before the waitress came by. She seemed very disinterested and couldn’t answer several simple questions. The tables now have those electronic ordering menus on the table and the waitress had no idea how it worked. The food when we got it was not very good. The steak was cooked properly but didn’t have much flavor. The quinoa tasted like it had been rinsed in dishwater. The whole meal was underwhelming. It will be a very long time(if ever) that I go to another Applebee’s.

This place can’t handle more than half the restaurant being full. We came in for take out and were told to sit in the bar for service. 20+ mins later no one had showed up to take our order. We had come from a competition and we were STARVING. Probably would’ve ate faster had we just sat in the dining room. Customer service is pretty much dead at all chain restaurants.

Unbelievably horrible experience. Went to Applebee’s in Sparks for lunch on Father’s Day. We asked about the Kobe beef slider appetizers and were told they were«bad with no flavor», so we ordered pretzels and ribs with honey BBQ sauce. Appetizers showed up on 2 metal trays. They were dropped off — we asked for plates, utensils or napkins — none were brought. When our ‘new menu’ «Handhelds» came to the table, the menu pictures were, completely deceiving. The ‘Triple Hog Dare Ya” had 1 slice of ham, the pulled pork portion sizes were 2 splotches of quarter-size pork, and the bun. The ‘Brew Pub Philly” had 2 thin slices of beef(very fatty & gristly). When we asked the waitress if these were in error. She said«no, that’s how they are» — when I showed her the menu pics vs delivered food, she said she was sorry, «it is, what it is». The Triple Hog, was pitiful, so she offered to make my son a burger instead. He agreed and switched to a bacon burger — no cheese — he has a fatal allergy to dairy. Waitress asked if he wanted«pink or no pink» — he said ‘no pink’ — after 17 minutes, a cheeseburger showed up that was so rare that when we cut it to remove the cheese, it oozed red blood. We surrendered. We asked to pay and the«replaced Triple Hog Dare Ya» was still on the bill. As we were leaving, the manager(the entire time we were dining he sat at the bar and talked to 2 friends) came over and said he heard there was a misunderstanding… I first said that the sandwiches weren’t as advertised, he argued and said«no way, everything is weighed and measured out» I asked him«where was the ‘triple’ in the Triple Hog, as there was no bacon» — he stood by his statement. When I asked why a burger that was ordered with no cheese and no pink, was brought out 17 minutes later, nearly raw and included cheese, he would not answer. I could go on, but I think it would be pointless. Misleading advertising Told that the apps were not good No utensils, plates or napkins, even tho you had to eat with your hands Wrong food No drink refills Don’t waste your time or money on Applebee’s

Came to AppleBees for Mothers Day, it was nothing short of a disappointment! Wait was brief, waitress Annamarie was wonderful. Very friendly, got everything out in a timely manner and checked on us frequently. The food was awesome, the Artisan Grilled Chicken Ciabatta Sandwhich as well as the Siriacha shrimp was spectacular. Will definitely be coming back!

Each time I visit this location, the experience seems to get worse. Upon walking into the restaurant, my family was greeted with five hosts and hostestess standing in a circle arguing with their backs to the door. After waiting about two minutes, one acknowledged us and took our name down. The wait time was estimated to be 10 – 15 minutes but we waited for over 30. Meanwhile, I watched more parties leave than were seated. One hostess spent her shift texting while other hosts continued to chat and ignore customers. The manager came out and asked them to seat more people, and yet they continued to stand in a circle and do nothing. Once we were finally seated, the service got better. At my most recent visit, my waitress was Tina. She was quick, friendly, and provided some of the best service I have ever seen. Unfortunately, it seemed as though she was the only person running around the restaurant. If Applebee’s hired more like her, their service would be so much better. The food was pretty good but isn’t something I would go out of my way for. In my opinion, dining out is an experience that is comprised of good food, good service, and good company. Applebee’s has a lot of work to do on their service.

I don’t know if it’s just that I have had too much really good local food or if this place is genuinely bad. I went here recently with a sick baby in tow just wanting to grab something and sit down and eat with my boyfriend. There’s a interactive menu that is new since the last time I was here where you can order food, play games(for a price) or summon your server. Looking through the menu, it’s clear that it suffers from too many choices. My boyfriend said that it was overwhelming. I settled on a special where you could build your own meal from several small plates. I chose riblettes, artichoke heart and spinach dip, and wontons. Each plate came out with a tiny amount of food, was clearly not made in house and was bland, dried out and unremarkable. Not a place that I would like to revisit soon.

Went there for lunch today with a few of my coworkers. We were there for forty-five minutes before we got served our food. We actually had to get it served in to go boxes because we had to leave so we wouldn’t be late for work. I got back to work and they didn’t even give me the right sandwich. I also asked for sweet potato fries(paid a dollar more for them) and received regular fries instead. Just horrible experience.

Overpriced fast food — however, I do particularly like the pretzels and beer cheese dippers. they really hit the spot some days!

Was part of a group including family members from 6 months to 87 years old some 18 in total. Service on both food and drink was excellent. Hamburgers with fries ran from 6 and a ½ bucks to nearly 10. My wife and I had a 7 oz steak topped with shrimp and cheese including a vegetable and potato for just under 20 bucks. No French bread or salad, another 4.97 throws in a house salad. The steak was great and everything seasoned well. In a town known for its buffets and I admit I love the variety they offer, I am a poor judge of single entrée meals, but I remain a good judge of value which in this case was slightly lacking. Service was great, food was good, if the meal price had included a salad and a few pieces of French bread or rolls(which I didn’t need) value would have been more than acceptable!

Ok so, I’ve never been a big fan of Applebee’s, ever but, that doesn’t stop me from giving them a try when a friend or family member wants to go. Tonight was at the request of a family member and I have got to say they have disappointed me again. The restaurant does appear to be clean and the service was just OK, that’s why I gave it 3 stars. If my review was based solely on the food it would be 2 stars. I feel I’ve wasted enough of my breath(and money) on Applebee’s already but, in the future I’m going to try much harder to persuade my party to dine elsewhere.

This will be short. Horrible waitress by the name of Morgan!!! Her service and attitude was very bad. As a waitress she did this business a complete disservice. The food was very good though. But the chances that I would ever be sat at her table again nope. Spoke to the manager and the first thing Scott did was offer free food and certificates to come back and try again. It was pretty easy though. Told Scott to keep those, I would not ever step in this location again. Morgan was so BAD that if the food had not been as good as it was, it would have been a negative 2 stars.
