I don’t know if it was this location or if the experience in here is similar in other locations. The store seemed cluttered, it was difficult to move around people or. I had a hard time locating items and also. Nobody came over and asked if we needed any help and the one person we saw stocking the shelves seemed annoyed by us walking down the isle. Some of the prices were really nice and I’ll come back when there are items I need and didn’t get elsewhere.

Love this place m friendliest staff I’ve encountered in years. Great deals. I always go here before winco because it’s half the price.

I went into this Grocery Outlet the other day, looking for the ranch dressing they always have and there wasn’t any on the shelf. I must have looked dejected, because a nice young man asked me what I was looking for, almost like he knew I was looking for something they didn’t have. When I told him what I wanted, he said that it had just come in and he went into the back and in a few seconds he was back with my dressing. That’s the kind of shopping experience that puts a smile on your face and it’s why I shop at Grocery Outlet.

I went in there today and the employee Ebony threatened my 55 year old mother, saying she was going to kick her ass and pursued her out of the store. The store manager Jeff, was no help at all. The employees at this location have taken stupidity and trash to a level I have never seen before. The employees there are on the leading edge of a new age of ignorance. Really.

If your looking for a beautiful environment you wont find it here. Who cares when the prices are far below any other store!

Grocery Outlet is always my first stop in shopping, followed by Trader Joes. If I do not have it at that point, I do not need it.

Why pay the high prices for food, when you can pay less for the same brands… Gotta check them out.

Grocery outlet is a good place to buy stuff when you’re on a budget. They carry a lot of stuff for really low prices, but remember to check the expiration date. Other than that, I can’t complain. Note: they remolded and things are nice and spiffy now! =)

The new owner has really turned this place around. I have been going here for years and it was a little dodgy and you had to pay attention to use by and expiration dates. This place is now clean, organized and has good service. The parking lot has been redone. Now if they could do something about the carts at least offer sanitizer to wipe of the handles, it would be five stars. If you haven’t been or haven’t been in a while go check it out, you will be surprised by the improvement.

There can be some gems purchased here at good prices. I think the main reason I’m listing it as three stars is because of all the great deals I read about the Bay Area grocery outlets. There’s a monthly thread on Chowhound about high quality foods selling for dirt cheap prices at the Bay Area grocery outlets, particularly the one in Berkeley. I read those threads and go down to the Reno and Sparks stores and the stuff never shows up here. It’s up to the stores to order what they can. Sometimes the deals are really good. Sometimes you scratch your head and wonder what the food companies were thinking of when they made cherry-flavored tortilla chips, for instance. They should have just avoided the regular retail chain and saved money by shipping those straight from the manufacturing facility to the Grocery Outlet warehouse.

I thought this was a grocery store. I bought $ 3,000 worth of flooring at half price. From a grocery store? OK, I also bought pizza and Coke for the installers, and Ice Cream for the 110 degree weather in August. The flooring went in well, powered by the pizza fed installation crew. What else can I find at Grocery Outlet?
