TIme for an early dinner. I wanna say I didn’t know what I was going to have but I did. Ribeye rare, baked potato and a salad. Let’s start things off with a half order of bacon cheese fries. The staff is always friendly and on top of it. Cups always full and always checking on you. Out came the appetizers. The Blooming Onion and Cheese Fries. Always very tasty and hot. The cheese hot and gooey topped with yummy bacon bits. The Blooming Onion. What can you say about this thing? It’s always 100% great. Then right behind that comes salads loaded with tomatoes and cucumbers with yummy croutons and ranch dressing. The entrée’s come out and the steaks look great. My buddy had the Filet Mignon and the Ribeye looked great. Drinks refilled and time to cut into this steak. Everything here from the staff to the food is always great. Be back sometime soon.

Waited for a table, but not too long. As soon as we were seated, we were told they were out of filet mignon. Our waitress came for drink orders and said they were also out of prime rib. She said they’d been out since Valentines Day(7 days ago). Really? Bread was cold. Caesar salad awful! Lettuce old, dressing bitter. This is something my husband really enjoys at Outback, but not this time. Steaks and side were good, cooked perfectly. I got the wrong dessert, the waitress seemed a bit clueless about desserts. Manager never stopped by, even though the restaurant was 2⁄3 empty by the time we left. Ladies room run-down and sinks dirty. Very disappointed.

Hadn’t been to the Outback in many years, primarily because I didn’t find value for the money, but I was pleased with this experience. I ordered a filet minon with lobster and she ordered the parmesan crusted chicken. Both were prepared very well and were very flavorful. Service was a little slow, but not out of line for the number of people here on a Friday night.

Outback Steakhouse used to be my favorite restaurant in Reno but after the last year or so I don’t think they have made one of my curbside takeaway orders right and when I call to tell them I get a run around and nothing is ever done. Today I called in an order and I was across the street. They said it would be ready in 20 min which is usual. I showed up 7 min after I placed the order and my order was already ready which I thought was a good thing but I got home and everything was over cooked. My steak was WELL done my shrimp were black from the grill and my baked potato seemed as if it was in a steam pot for 10 hours. This seams to be the typical customer service I’ve been getting. And it’s as if they just throw the food in the styrofoam boxes. I will miss this place and hope others have a better experience.

Today after work my husband and I decided to go to the Outback again. We had had one bad experience and thought we would try it again. We drove in from Grayeagle from working and decide that we would go to the Outback. It was 3:00 p.m. when I called and talked to a guy named Alex. He told be that they were open for dinner and to come on in. We got there about 3:30. When we went in the hostess said that we would need to go to the bar for ½ hour. I told her we were ready for dinner and she said we would have to wait till 4 to have dinner. I asked her why and she said very rudely, we have no servers. She said so do you want to wait! I said no and we left. I couldn’t understand why we were told we could get dinner on the phone at 3 but when we got there we couldn’t. I decided to call the manager and he said if you are close enough come back and we will start your dinner. I told him no! I think that the employees here need to be trained and as well as the manager. The hostess needs a lesson in being polite. You wasted our time and ruined my husbands birthday as well. Thank you Outback for nothing. We won’t be back, nor will my family.

We were greeted and seated promptly, Tara was a great server and very accommodating to our requests including the needs of our 2 year old daughter. There were a few bumps with but they were resolved to our satisfaction promptly. Overall good experience. We tried the steak and all you could eat shrimp special and it was a great value.

Would have been a five star rating if it wasn’t for their price hike on food that I have seen over the past year. The quality of the food is never in question, nor is the service as I have never had a bad server while eating at Outback. It just always seems when the bill comes I don’t quite feel that I get my money’s worth is all.

«15 minute wait… We’re waiting on servers…» Well now it’s been 35 minutes and they’re telling as ‘maybe another 15′. Meanwhile the place has filled and they have no clue of what to do! 47 minute wait! Ordered and now 48 minutes and counting for food. Sadder by the minute. Our server, Brandy, was amazing! She was quick with beverage refills, bread, salad, etc. she even took the time to make a special dessert for our son who was off to college the next morning! Food was good, Brandy was great, everything else was POOR, including the manager that came by, but didn’t listen.

Had a very nice solo dinner at the outback in Sparks in their bar area Amber was the waitress she was very nice very efficient and very quick. Enjoyed a free blooming onion because it was happy Bloomin onion Monday at the outback. Also enjoyed their snack plate of four coconut shrimp which were delicious. And very reasonable glass of wine.

People who know me know I am a not a chain fan. However, many of my family are and if it is their birthday they get to chose. So off to Outback I go… We were a large party of 15. Although we had to wait 25 minuets past our reservation time our service(shared by two gals) was great. They worked well together and did a great job. I ordered the Tilapia with crab. It was excellent, the seasoning was great! My brother in laws fries were cold so they quickly brought out fresh ones. Everyone else enjoyed their apps, steaks, ribs, chicken and shrimp on the Barbie. So all in all one of the better chains according to this Shelia!!! Good day mate

The service was amazing! The best I have had in a long time. The server was training and they were both very pleasant, smiling and happy the entire time. Hot wings are not hot even with their hottest sauce. The waiters brought me out extra sauce to drench my wings in. Even without the extra sad the wings had a great flavor but NOT hot even drenching them in their hottest sauce. My husband asked for his steak to be done medium rare and it came out medium. We were hungry so we did not send it back but the manager came over and apologized to use and took his meal off our ticket so we did not pay for it. Their potato soup was awesome! Best I have had in a long time. I will totally go back to this place even if it is just to get such great service. They only got docked 1 star for the wings not being hot and the steak being cooked wrong. BOTH were fixed in my opinion. Maybe next time we go, I can give them a 5 star :-) PS. not sure about military discount forgot to ask since my husband’s meal was taken off

Can’t give them 5 stars but a solid 4. My husband and I go here often for dinner because we always find something we like. I’m a steak person while he prefers a pasta dish. I eat my steak medium and they alway question me saying are you sure you want medium… you know it will be pink with some red in it. I tell them that’s how I like it. Sometimes it arrives well done which I have to call them over and show them. I don’t like having to send my food back but I don’t want to pay good money for a steak that is well done instead of medium. All in all the. Service is pretty good and the food when cooked right is very flavorful.

I have been avoiding writing this review for a couple of months, but am finally ready to do it. Outback is a favorite for some of my family and we frequent here for birthday celebrations, which amounts to nine diners and a $ 350+ bill. One of the reasons we keep coming back is that they are usually very good about handling food allergies and offer a gluten free menu and extensive allergen list on the website. Not so on our last visit. We(party of 9) arrived for our 5:30 dinner reservations and proceeded to wait for an hour and a half to be seated. We watched multiple other large parties arrive after us and be seated before us. When we were finally seated, the manager apologized for having to give our table away to a later reservation(party of 10) because they had one more than us and would have had a long wait for a table. Huh? I guess our waiting was ok because??? We ordered our drinks, appetizers quickly, then ordered entrees. Four of us were ordering from the gluten free menu,(because of food allergies, not preference) and had some questions about whether or not the dishes had dairy in them, which the waiter easily answered. I ordered the Grilled Tilapia with steamed veggies. When our food came, I questioned if my dinner was ok because it had a sauce on the fish, which I didn’t recall seeing in the description.(The first rule of dining out with dairy/gluten allergies is to avoid sauces.) The waiter said he would check, meanwhile, I scraped the glop off the fish and started eating it. When the waiter cam back out, he had the manager to apologize that it had both dairy and bread crumbs in it. They were very apologetic, but I ended up getting very sick over the next three days. The manager came back at the end of our meal and asked if there was anythign he could do to make this right, to which I requested that they work at training their staff better. They make a big deal about being aware of allergies, so they need to follow throug on that. I won’t be back, but I’m sure my family will. Their meals were all prepared as ordered and tasty.

If I could give a zero… I’m not sure if getting seated and ignored for 15 minutes is because we are Asian… but seeing workers intentionally ignoring us and having people coming in after us and getting drinks and their order in… we only got menus… and walked out. We immediately went to BJs next door and it was like night and day. Friendly and attentive service… place was packed with a Good vibe… plenty families and Kids…versus the cold and gloomy and empty Outback. Don’t waste your time here and go across the street. You won’t regret It!

My wife and I really enjoy going to this Outback because the staff is great and the booths are wide enough for a baby car seat and the food is good. The blooming onion is always great start and the steaks have always been cooked perfect for us. I highly recommend this location for family’s since they are so accommodating.

Steak, filet, yes please! Tonight was exceptional… all around awesome! I called ahead of time with a reservation and upon arrival was seated promptly! Much appreciated especially with having my little ones with us! The host took our drink orders once we were seated and our drinks came right out! I really liked how fast that was! Our waitress was absolutely adorable, funny and totally considerate of each one of us. She was quick to take each order and patient as the boys were choosing what they wanted to eat. She came out right away with the bread and butter and was on it each time we ran out and came with another! The blooming onion to a bit to come out and she was quick to apologize. The bloomin onion, honestly did not look as good as I remembered, but once I had one it was scrumptious! Looks certainly can be deceiving. Next she brought out the salads and soup for table which was quick as well. My dad ordered wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, feta, and walnuts Seriously, looked incredible. My salad that came with the deal was a regular house salad and looked a little sad compared to the amazing salad my dad had. I also made the mistake of trying a bite of his salad because mine did not compare to that one. When the waitress came by and asked how things were, my dad jokingly told her i liked his salad more and wanted that one. She smiled brightly and asked if I would like the dressing he had to church mine up a bit. She did not have to twist my arm! She brought it out right away and it definitely helped with my salad! The wedge salad was only an extra dollar, I highly suggest to upgrade as it is TOTALLY worth it! For dinner I ordered the filet with their sweet potato. OHMYGOODNESS, the steak was perfectly cooked throughout just the way I like it with a little pink! The juiciness and seasonings on the filet are mind-blowing. I truly savored each bite. The sweet potato, I don’t even think I have the words! Delectable, excellent, how many adjectives can I use! Together the meal was just incredible! My husband had a hamburger that he loved as well. My boys gorged on the bread and by the time their hamburger came were a little full, but theirs looked good too! Since we got a cheesecake to share, my dad and brother ordered chocolate and raspberry topping on the side since they each wanted one of them. The waitress came and apologized because it would have been out, but the chef accidentally put both sauces on the cheesecake so she had him make another! My husband joking said she could bring the mistake cheesecake… and what did she do??? She brought it! So we now had two to share with all of us. The Cheesecake was great and I liked the raspberry topping. They make their chocolate homemade and it was pretty good, but I think the cheesecake was just better with raspberry. We really had excellent service and food tonight! I think our waitress added to the amazingness with her bright smily and sunshiny personality! By the way they have a pretty decent two for $ 40 deal where you get a bloomin onion to share, sirloin steak and a side per person, a soup or salad per person, and a cheesecake to share. personally I like the filet and it was only $ 5 more to upgrade to an 8 oz sirloin and a 6 oz filet. In my opinion a great deal and a lot of food!

Great place. I’ve been to several Outbacks and have always enjoyed them. Tonight I had the Prime Rib. It was soooo goood! «I’ll be back» seriously it did not have a lot of fat. It was served promptly and their was a good crowd in the restaurant. Our server was extremely courteous to us but you expect this. We had a group of 6 adults and 1 child and 1 infant. Again great service and provided a birthday ice cream for the birthday boy! Parking was easy with ample parking.
