Extremely disappointed at this place over the weekend. They offered summer drinks as part of their specials but they were out of the Raspberry. Then we ordered a Pina Colada instead, but they didn’t have the mix for that either. We each ordered the prime rib and got mashed potatoes with it. When I tried to send mine back for a baked potato I was told that they don’t serve baked potatoes on Sunday. I also wanted creamed horseradish and was informed that they might possibly be out of that as well, so I asked for sour cream to mix with the straight horseradish. By this time the bartender (subbing as a waitress) was becoming visibly agitated with my persistent requests. I was planning to order 2 additional prime rib dinners to take home to my husband and son-​in-​law, but I wasn’t about to give this place any more money for their poor choices and now an attitude from a food server. So I phoned in my order to the Outback Steakhouse where (for the same money) we got our choice of potatoes, AND choice of vegetable, AND we also got warm baked bread.

Very friendly service, wonderful atmosphere however the food was soso. I had a calamari sandwich and nachos as appetizers. Wife had the chicken tacos as she described as being bland.

Been here before when we came to town… liked their lasagna but this time around it was dry and over cooked… wife had the ribs and those where meaty but also dry… so food is or was this time so-​so…
On the other hand service was very good, think the place is interesting, and good if you have kids…

BAD, BAD, BAD business practices! I tried to book a 75 – 100 person party and was told it was open for a certain date. I said great il’ll call you back and let you know what the club said. I called back two days later and said I got the go ahead and the manager Debbie said someone else is also interested. I thought to myself «I just spoke with you two days ago and said can you hold it while I get confirmation». I said i’ll give you my credit card right now and it will be done. She said no I have to have cash or a check (REALLY?) (Check are a safe bet!) I said i can leave work at 4pm., get to the bank and bring over cash for the deposit at 4:30. At 4:30pm. as promised I was there with the cash deposit. She said sorry but someone else came by with a check and they got the room. I was in shock! I said is this a joke? I was looking for my friends to see if it was a setup. It wasn’t. Then she asked if I wanted to book another night. Are you kidding!!! Like i would ever come back to that place again. I get home and tell my wife and she says I told you they were shady. She tried to call to book a room several times and no one ever called her back to this day. I wonder if the owner knows how they are treating the customers in Sparks.

LOVE this place. The cashew chicken salad sandwich, italian cobb salad, ribs and spaghetti are all fantastic. Definitely will be keeping them in the regular rotation.

Very friendly service. Waitress was great. Food, however wasn’t that great. Really wanted it to be good, but the food was kinda bland. And for some reason it took forever to get our food and they weren’t busy. Don’t know what happened.

Came by for lunch with my fiancé ordered the spinach salad very nice place to eat

First time visiting this place and while I was not blown away by their food I gotta say that the staff was very friendly so it made up for it some.
Took my son for dinner and we both ordered burgers, Medium rare for me and medium for him… They tasted fine but were overcooked.
As I mentioned before this was my first visit so I will give them another try.

This place gets an extra star for friendly staff and nice décor/​atmosphere. The food however has never been good for me. I’ve come here three times and each time I’ve ordered a different thing but none of them I particularly enjoyed. I very rarely send my food back but this last time I had to because the chicken lasagna I ordered was just 90% cheese. I ended up eating my boyfriend’s baked potato for dinner which was undercooked. I’m sure this place is good for some, just not for me.

When we can’t figure out where to eat, we go here. Never a disappointment, always consistent with service and food.

Comfortable bringing the kids here — the staff is friendly & the décor is entertaining. The food was so-​so. I would have expected more flavour based upon the prices. Still yummy… but not knock-​you-​socks-​off yummy…

A regular and favorite stop for lunch or dinner. Great selection of food & drink! Order your favorite bottle of wine at a discount and take home what you don’t drink. Family favorites are the wings, salmon salad, the spicy pasta (not for wimps) and the Big Ass Salad! Low turnover in help means they’ll remember your name!

We stopped in for a quick drink and bite to eat. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would call it comfort food (read: heavy, rich, with a touch of greasy and salty)… but I am not saying it is a bad thing! I am sure I could have ordered a salad ;-) I would go here again.

Best big ass salad in town!!! Service is always friendly, menu us consistently good. Never had a bad meal in 15+ years. Love, love all of their salads and both lasagnas. Yumm.

My wife and I happened upon their South Virginia Street location. What a find the wait staff was great and they all worked together so the service was excellent. If you like wines they have a great selection, you won’t be disappointed. I had a burger served on sour dough bread and it was cooked to perfection and was awesome. My wife had chicken and really liked it. The portions are huge so unless you have a big appetite be ready to get the take out boxes. If looking for comfort food in a rustic place you need to try this place out

Went here last night with my boyfriend and had a great meal! Loved the décor and the food! I had the roasted vegetable and cheese ravioli special and it was probably the best ravioli I’ve ever had.

For my first time meeting my boyfriend’s parents, I came here with him and them for dinner. My boyfriend had great things to say about it, and he was right. It was delicious! There was a bit of a wait when we went (dinnertime on Friday), but not too long. While we waited, we all had some wine and enjoyed it. We started out with salads… my Caesar was very good. I had the Capellini Primavera, which I really enjoyed. Our service was good, our waitress was attentive but not bothersome. All and all, a very enjoyable dining experience!

My buddy really has wanted to try this place out, and I’ve passed it every day going to and from work so I said why not.
Well, we definitely won’t be going back. I ordered a burger, and it was one of the toughest burgers I’ve ever had. My buddy ordered prime rib, and they asked him how he wanted it cooked … which, should come out one way — pink on the inside.

My favorite Uncle lives in Sparks. He loves this place, so much that his cowboy boots are hanging on the wall. No, that’s not relevant to the review, but a random fun fact for you to chew on.
Food was really good. Went out for an Estrogen Night (all the women in the family) for dinner. Add drinks and it’s a night of comedy.
Salad was good, I had a burger w/​fries. Good flavor. Everyone at the table liked their food. Service was great, too.

The food is still good, but the quality seems to have gone down. And the prices have definitely gone up.
Service is usually good here. I like to eat here. But my last several meals here have just been okay. It’s now a restaurant I“ll eat at if I’m in the area, but it doesn’t merit driving there just to eat at Pinocchio’s.
