Had my Birthday dinner here last night! Thanks mom! Had the«Big Ass» salad(surprise, surprise), and shared the Chicken w/wild mushroom Lasagna with mom. Food was great as always. Dan and I has«dirty up» — shaken not stirred martinis! Debbie the manager sang«Happy Birthday» to me. Wonderful time had by all!!!

Short and sweet — Been here three times and haven’t been impressed. This last time I called in an order. The guy taking my order was rude and not helpful. I don’t know the menu and asked him some questions and he knew about as much as I did. When arriving to pick up. Had to look for service. Was surprised by the 27 $ bill for one entrée. Got home, missing salad, over cooked steak, over cooked fries. Never again. Hope not everyone has that experience! Good luck. P.S bring your cash cow. This place is PRICY especially for the quality of food

We love the apple-wood smoked prime rib. I’ve tried a few other dishes which were just okay. If I were to rate the prime rib alone I’d want to give them 6 stars. Be sure to go on Wednesday’s to get the special. You won’t be sorry!

Great place but it’s strangely decorated. It’s just wall to wall random stuff. Umbrellas and bicycles hanging from the ceiling and shit. Every time I come here I carefully select an item to take home with me just to see if they’ll notice. They dont. They just put more bullshit back in its place. I have successfully filled half of my garage with the stolen items. Anyway, try the chicken parm.

Really good and quick service. Friendly and the décor is awesome. I enjoyed the pasta light and my fiancé got the #2 pizza. Definitely will come back.

We love it here! It’s our date night go to spot. The wine is great and at a great price too! The pasta is always perfect. Burgers are huge and delicious. I literally can’t complain. Service has never been any less than amazing. I really just live this place.

UPDATEDAGAIN. Just when I think the service can’t get any crappier it does. The ONLY reason I still come here is because my daughter makes me. Unreal. Get it together Sparks location. Service and quality has not been up to par since my last review. Sat there for 10 minutes last night without anyone greeting us or taking a drink order. Had to go ask the manager if they could send someone over.

The steamed veggies instead of pasta with the salmon on it is really good here. It’s a great way to avoid carbo loading. Great prices on decent bottled wines– raumbauer Chard for 33 bucks and Just Cab for 30 bucks is nice price at a restaurant Duckhorn’s Decoy on 25 bucks. The one thing that I don’t like is no local beers on tap. The beer selection is weak for craft beer geeks. We would come more often if they at least had Icky on tap. Everyone has Icky. Meatball appetizers are tasty and the wings are nice and spicy. Salads are big and filling– dressing on the side though as it comes drenched. Oh and the mud pie! — huge and delicious – Oreo cookie crust and coffee ice cream. Big enough for a crowd

Service was outstanding, interesting environment that defiantly sticks out. Food was OK. I had a calamari burger that was just ok and wife had chicken tacos that were bland and not seasoned. Nachos as appetizer and that was dissapointing as well. I’d try it again.

Went here for the first time yesterday. I loved all the knick knacks and the ambiance. It was a little dark in there, but nothing major just makes it hard to read the menus. We started with the nachos which were delicious and I ordered the Veggie Melt. The Veggie melt was great but so big you couldn’t even fit it in your mouth. I had to cut it in half and remove half the toppings to be able to eat it. The fries that came with were excellent. Other dishes ordered at the table were the Southwestern Chicken Salad, Firecracker Wings, and Prime Rib Special, all were said to be delicious. Our server was attentive and frequently checked back to see if we needed anything. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely be back!

We have gone here many times and the food has been great. The service is usually mediocre. The last time we went we waited on our food for 50 minutes and our friend who had order a turkey dish was served a almost raw in the middle piece of turkey. Rather then offer to comp her dinner or something they randomly brought out a large desert for us to say sorry but we were ready to go due to waiting another 20 minutes after finishing eating and receiving the bill. This experience was enough for us to skip this place from here on out.

We got an unexpected date night out tonight. We found ourselves at Pinnocio’s in Sparks. They asked if we wanted to sit indoors or on the patio. We chose the patio. We were the only ones out there. It was in its own way very romantic. Our server told us about the specials right away. I chose the 16oz prime rib knowing my husband would finish what I didn’t eat. It came with a side of veggies, and a baked potato with all the fixin’s. John got the chicken and mushrooms which came with large pieces of artichoke and mushrooms. Yummy! We will be back again!

Ate dinner at Pinocchio’s. It was ok. Service was good and they refunded us the price of the shrimp because we thought the shrimp tasted a little too fishy. I had the lite plate. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. He had the fresh raviolis which I thought was better than my dinner. We ordered the kids pasta with white sauce and that seemed pretty good he ate it all. The drinks were ok. We had a coronarita, call it a turborita, and a top shelf bloody Mary. Prices are middle of the road. About 10 to 15 bucks for adult dinner. Desert was awesome we shared a big slice of mud pie! Ate half of the desert and took the other half home.

I’m bummed to have to mix my review of the service and food with an unfortunate situation. I had the Cajun Pasta(which was delicious!) and shared a bottle of yummy pinot noir with a friend the other night — overall the meal was nicely prepared, hot, and yummy. The hostess was as nice as ever and the server was fantastic. At dinner, my friend gave me a little gift from her recent trip to Disney World — a marble topped Mickey Mouse wine stopper. When I got up, I accidentally left it on the table. I got home about 15 minutes later and realized I’d left it behind, I called to alert the staff. The nice hostess who had seated us was happy to report that she’d found my new wine stopper and said she’d put it in the safe with my name on it. I came in the following evening to pick it up and it was nowhere. The same woman took my phone number and promised to call because she’d seen it herself and knew it was there somewhere… but 5 days later… no call. I just called and was told they’d looked everywhere and didn’t have it — which I would be more understanding about had its presence not already been confirmed. I appreciate the search effort but am pretty sad to learn that someone appears to have stolen it. :(

I tried Pinocchio’s about 7 years ago. I was a horrible experience with rude service and awful food. On Saturday I decided to take my daughter to lunch — we wernt sure where to do and none of the normal places sounded particularly exciting. I decided to give Pinocchio’s another go. I forgot how crowded the place is. There is not a single inch of bare wall space in this place. You will find hats, branding irons, large plastic animals, umbrellas, various photos and men in coats hanging all over the place. Some people might like this kind of yard sale flea market look but I found it off putting and distracting. They dont have a very large menu or much variety. I ordered an Iced Tea. My daughter ordered Milk. I also ordered a coffee black. I was told by the server that she will have to make a pot and did I mind waiting. I told her not at all and she said she would bring it as soon as it was ready. She arrived at our table a few minutes later with the tea and milk. The tea had a horrible citrus taste to it and my duaghters milk was an elementary school milk carton — about 8 oz worth of milk. I told the server that the tea tasted different — she told me it was tropical blend. Why wouldnt she tell me that as soon as I ordered it? I told her I’d like water instead. We then asked if the milk was free re-fills. I was not. I paid $ 2.50 for a school carton of milk. Just awful. I didnt have my coffee yet at this point. I ordered the Italian Burger without fries and a side ceasar salad. My daughter got the hot wing appetizer. It took a little longer than it should have to get our order. Two other parties sat down after we did and they both got thier orders before us. I noticed one party only ordered salads so I figured that wasnt a huge deal because they are so easy to make. The other party had 5 people and ordered a ton of food. You could tell they were friends with the manager and the cook because both of them kept going over to chat and laugh with them. This was mildly annoying. I still didnt have my coffee. When the food came I was less than thrilled. My daughter loved her wings — wings are hard to mess up and I was glad that she was satisfied with her food at least. My burger was a different story. It was supposed to have a thousand island dressing on it. There was barley any dressing and it was only on ¼ of the bun. The patti was super dry and some of it burnt. Most of the burger was lettuce. I had to take the patti off, remove half of the lettuce and just eat the bun and veggies. Super dry and not good at all. I let the waitress know and she asked if I wanted something else — we had an appointment so I didnt have time to wait for something else. I told her no and only ate ¼ of the food. I still didnt have any coffee. When she brought the bill she also brought us a huge slice of chocolate cake«on the house» to make up for the burger. Gross. The cake was the size of my head. My daughter had a few bites — I dont care for chocolate so I didnt touch it. I would have much rather had her take the burger off the bill rather than try to give us a huge dessert. I guess I should have spoke up about that. I paid the bill and left hungry and un-happy. I was also horribly tired and needed a nap becuase I never — ever got that coffee. Will I try again in 7 more years? Nah.

I was a little apprehensive about going back to Pinocchio’s because my first experience was not so good. This time was great! My food was so delicious. I got a chicken salad sandwhich. For me it was a lot of food, but my meal made for awesome leftovers. I think their sweet potato fries were the best I ever had. My son loved his hamburger. He could only eat half because it was so huge. I ordered my littlest one somw mac and cheese with steamed veggies. Seemed to me like it was kraft but for 5 bucks that was to be expected. The owner or manager came over and politely asked how everything was. Overall I was just really impressed with the service. The food came out in a timely manner and it was hot. I will definitely come back to try some other things. I’m a huge pasta lover.

One of my local favorites. When I need a quick bite, watch a ball game or crave a well smoked slice of prime rib. It’s my spot. Being a regular, my choices are familiar, grilled chicken tacos(love the taco sauce), the big ass salad(order it with the house dressing), the hot & spicy pasta(the only relief is the pasta, watch out for the sauce.), and the prime rib medium-rare with the garlic mashed potatoes. Service is prompt and sincere with the up selling to a minimum. My only wish is for a decorator. There’s enough stuff hanging from the ceiling to give Fred Sanford ‘the big one’. It’s dated. The bar & bar stools are showing cracking and wear. It’s time to reinvest.

It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been to a Pinocchio’s.the last at the old place on Moana, and frankly I wasn’t impressed with it. They’ve gone a bit upscale and definitely upgraded the quality of food with this Sparks location and reallly did it right. The décor is bar-cool not TGIF-tacky. The best attribute is the wonderfully large deck, which we decided on. Not too hungry, we shared an appetizer with 2 beers. We chose the flatbread… outstanding! More like a sharp-cheezy lightly-topped pizza, with fresh tomatoes sprinkled on top. Not too doughy… it was the best thing I ate all week. Service was excellent. Sit on the deck and do the same… we plan to again!
