Pizza Plus

Ugh, I love eating on shalacked wooden tables that have that sticky feel. And I love small wings with grease. And mediocre pizza. This place is always busy which kind of tells the level of expectation that Renoites have toward pizza. The owners haven’t spent a nickel in the joint since it opened and we are talking a lot of years. Now that’s ok if its a cool joint but this is a dump.

I once frequented this place for its outstanding buffet that included their fantastic wings. Then, the price slowly but surely crept up. But, because the buffet was so good with its pizza, steak fries, and wings, I kept going. Then, the owner did the stupidest thing, the wings were removed from the buffet. Anyone that knows this place knows that its best asset is the wings. And they take them off the buffet??? Idiot move. And, to add insult to injury, the price increased again. Doh! I haven’t been back since. R.I.P, Pizza Plus. You should change your name to «Pizza Minus Wings»

Very good puzza. Price was right. Got the order right. Next time I will try the wings. They looked amazing.

This is the worst lunch buffet I’ve Ben to I was charged 19.90 for my son and I, he’s under 3… We’ve Ben here for 45 minutes already and so far just two pizzas were made and boneless wings no fries yet… If you decide to come here good luck

So I placed my order boneless wings, she also repeated it back to me as boneless. I usually check but I trusted them. They don’t deliver to my area so I drove 20 minutes to get my food of course I get home and they screwed up my order. I drive back with my receipt and showed the guy which he immediately gave me attitude although I was being polite which I don’t appreciate what’s so ever. Then he called the manager which was the girl that took my order to my surprise her names Yolanda. You’ll think she would make things right but no all I got was more attitude and told me she told me she couldn’t do anything about it then walked away, like what? After asking where she went for several minutes the other manager came out and he fixed things like they should have been at the beginning. I highly don’t recommend to come here at night or order from them anytime pass 7pm not only am I not hungry anymore my food is cold and just the whole situation leaves me not wanting to came back to this store again. Waste of money and waste of my gas and time.

We usually go there at least once every two weeks for a team lunch. The lunch pizza and salad bar is good. We like that they ask us what we want for the pizza bar and they spin something up for us and others within 10 – 15 minutes. Great customer service and the price is about right for what they offer.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with Pizza Plus. This location does not answer the phone at all and the employees were beyond rude. After having to wait for our order, when finally receiving our pizza, it was awful. An excessive amount of sauce proceeded by hardly any cheese on the pizza and burnt crust. I will NEVER return to this location.

Always loved this place even when I was a kid. My dad loved coming here because of their low prices on wings, pizza, fries and celery sticks with carrot sticks.
If you knew my dad you would know why he loved any place that had some good fresh wings.
Back in the day we would get a large pizza and a bucket of wings, which was 50 wings I believe. Mmmm so good. My mouth is watering just sitting here smelling all the yummy goodness.
Yes it’s a pretty run down place. The tables are kind of sticky, the bathrooms have flies flying around when you tinkle, the chairs are ripped up. But hey it’s been here for a very very long time.
They have cool arcade games that I remembered playing as a kid. Rampage is one of them. Who remembers rampage? Haha. Anyway. A great price to some pretty good pizza if you eat it there and amazing wings.

Well curiosity does at times kill the cat, and it motivates me to return to the crime! In this case the crime being the boneless chicken wing, AKA: the chicken nugget! There was some improvement! At least this time the crispy nugget was not rendered disgustingly soggy with the addition of one of three progressively hot sauces! And the guy at the register told me so! They stopped defiling the nuggets! OK so they were marginally better and not a bad chicken nugget as chicken nuggets go, but still a long way from a good old American chicken wing, complete with sweat on the brow from the blistering hot sauce they were previously swimming in!
At 11:30 on a Monday the place was packed, I got one of the last bench style seats. I asked them to do a «hot stuff» pizza to put out on the line and after spending several minutes describing to him what I meant (I frequently ask for a hot stuff pizza to be put out at pizza buffets– the hot hurts in a good way)! Apparently the fact that they were packed was a surprise as he told me he had called in extra help. The pizzas were OK but limited to two topping only– a sausage and pepperoni or Hawaiian, nothing more. And the fact that they were slammed had a definite adverse affect on the amount of pizzas des played if not the style. The experience came with the usual waiting in line behind a clueless group of undecideds, and of course about a half dozen little 2and 3 year old Hispanic kids running rampant and unattended (one little girl nearly got badly hurt by the swinging front doors). And of course they’re were also screaming at the top of their barely developed lungs (trust me there was nothing to scream about)! I made it through the indignities and got «stuffed» which was the intention and spoke volumes to the pizzas, all with the bottomless beverage for under 9 bucks, such a boneless deal!

My boyfriend and I ate here yesterday and we both got so sick it was horrible … So nasty soooo Nasty :(.

We just had pizza and boneless wings we just picked up. Very busy Super Bowl Sunday at 4:30. But they were extremely professional, courteous, happy and polite employees!

Pizza Plus has some of the best pizza in town with wings and mozzarella sticks you crave. Unfortunately, the service is so bad that on multiple occasions I have had to try to complaint to the manager. I say try because on several occasions I was told that the manager was busy, unavailable or otherwise occupied. This is no way to run a business. It really is a shame because as I stated, the Food is excellent.

I used to get their wings all the time when i still lived in Reno. It’s been over 5 years since I last had their wings until today! Their wings still taste as good as I remember! The only thing that I noticed that changed is the size of the actual wings. I got some that were super small and some that were just the wing tips. I hope that they don’t make that a normal thing. I’m still a big fan of Pizza Plus!

I am obsessed with there wings dipped in the ranch sauce. I ate a half bucket last weekend :)

My husband and I love the great pizza and wings the prices are great. Our family eats here at least once a week. Would recommend pizza plus to all who is reading this review.

Tried the lunch buffet for the first time today. Pretty decent selection of pizza, wings and fries for just under $ 9. Overall, the food was great! Wings were boneless and range from mild to spicy. The lunch buffet goes until 1:30. Good quick lunch spot!

Went back for the lunch buffet, they do make a tasty pizza, I was there this time after the lunch rush and it was not as crazy. They no longer had regular chicken wings, but replaced them with boneless style «wings». Good pizza and it includes the drink well youth the 7 bucks.
