We have done my son’s last 2 birthdays here. Room for groups, small arcade game section. Full bar. They were kind enough to hold our cake and ice cream for us — I think it was the manager but she was bussing tables the night before– regardless of her position she was very kind and helpful. Food was ready when we ordered it. Ordered the chicken pesto basil pizza but they were out of grilled chicken and so they put pieces of chicken strips on it instead which was not the same — wish that they had told us or asked if we still wanted it. :(We had to order an additional pizza when more people arrived and they were slammed so it wasn’t ready until we were all ready to leave. Food is good for the most part.

Pizza is great, service is poop. I ordered the last time and specifically asked for«no green peppers». They obviously gave me green peppers. This time I ordered a chicken pizza. They gave me someone else’s pizza. When I opened the box not only was I angry but I laughed afterwards thinking how is this place still in business considering the double whammy they gave me. Anyways I ate someone else’s pepperoni pizza. These Blvd Pizza guys can eat my butt and hopefully they get the taste of it several hours later. You know for the poopy service haha!

You need to get the Chuck’s Special! Hands down, my favorite pizza here! They do great pizzas and sides! It also still has that pizza parlor vibe that I prefer over the big corporate chain stores. Also has a sizable bar in the back with a separate arcade for the kids. Will definitely be back!

This place gets PACKED on the weekends, which tells you how good their pizza is. Don’t come hangry at the dinner rush; this is not run-of-the-mill fast food pizza – it’s good pie and it’s worth the wait. Tip: they don’t skimp on the toppings and if you’re like me and pile it on, ask for it to be cooked well or expect to eat it with a fork. Good news, if you’re over 21 they sell beer at a very decent price(hint: Pint of Icky costs less than any other place I’ve found in Reno, and the pitcher route is even cheaper!) and sports channels always on which makes the wait easier. They have a pool table, a small arcade, games everywhere, and they have an Internet Jukebox. Also, the appetizers are ridiculously cheap and I highly recommend the zucchini sticks and jalapeño bottle caps. And the fried chicken. And the wings.

This place is great! Their drink specials always have fun names, their fried chicken and breaded mushrooms are addictive, and of course the pizza is the best. I have been eating here for about a year or so now, and I have tried a variety of their pizzas. Delicious! The kids enjoy the games on the family friendly side, and the bar area is a lovely place to catch up with friends. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been here about three times for take out and I have to say they do a really good job with their pizza and wings. It is thin crust(not as thin as traditional NY pizza, but thinner than most.) The sauce actually has oregano in it.(Nice touch. I hate plain tomato sauce.) The last time in we had the Boulevard Combo, Vegetarian(removed the mushrooms and added artichoke hearts. Very Tasty and not soggy.), two dozen Insane wings(too hot for the bulk of us.), and one dozen hot wings(perfect amount of spice without having to run to the fridge for milk to put out the fire.) The phone service is pretty quick. And pickup is easy once you figure out you do not have to wait in the place order line. They have plenty of room to sit and a full bar. I also took a look at their salad bar and all looked fresh and I may have to give that a go the next time i’m able to eat in.

Best Pizza in Reno/Sparks! Reminds me of being a kid and my folks would take me to the local pizza place. The crust is amazing! If I could only go to one pizza place the rest of my life this would be it.

the folks who work there are great; the lunch special rocks(11am-2pm)! formerly shakey’s pizza parlor, boulevard pizza kept the secret pizza recipe, which is delicious. my favorite is lunch special: mini pizza w-pepperoni, mushroom, extra crispy, extra red sauce, an all-you-can-eat salad, glass of house white wine — all for $ 8, p

I heard a lot of great things about this place, but it just wasn’t for me. The staff was great. Very friendly with excellent service. As far as the pizza goes, it just wasn’t very good. Tasted like a fancy microwave pizza. Could not taste any sauce at all. Has the feel of a classic 80’s pizza place which I enjoy.

Boulevard is my favorite pizza place in Sparks/Reno. The pizza is amazing with just the right amounts of everything, the atmosphere is friendly, and the staff are very kind and courteous. The prices are also extremely reasonable.

Always excellent food. Pizza never changes. Try the Thai chili wings, I’m hooked on those now too

This was the first time we have eaten here and we had only heard good things about the food. We ordered an extra large combo, minus olives add onions. The service was friendly and helpful while placing our order, both for the flood and drinks. The person taking our food order gave us a number they would call but didn’t provide any time frame that we could expect to be waiting. Our number was called about an hour later which seemed like quite awhile to wait. The pizza looked delicious, covered with sauce and toppings, with very few bubbles in the crust. The thin crust was cooked well, which made it firm yet easy to bite through. The sauce, cheese and the toppings were all fresh and very tasty. We will come back for another pizza, but if the wait is just as long, we won’t return…

Just moved from Ohio. Found this place while checking out neighborhood. Great atmosphere with pacman and jukebox. Had pizza and found it tasty and reasonable. Would have been 5 stars but at 11(opening) I thought they should have register — tables — if not the jukebox — ready for business. Delay was OK for locals maybe — but one group had mother from out of town. Not good impression.

Another good meal at Boulevard Pizza. Chicken and rojo potatoes are still a bit heavy and greasy but a fresh greens in the salad bar balanced it out. Family reports that the pizza is still really good.

Boulevard pizza used to be Shakeys. Now anyone my age remembers Shakeys. They are like round table but in my opinion much better. Unfortunately Shakeys has gone to the pizza heaven in the sky, except for a couple stores in California. The owners of the Shakeys franchise bought the recipe for the pizza and some of the machines and opened up Boulevard Pizza. The owners could not use the exact pizza sauce so they had it sent out and analyzed for the exact ingredients. The mojos that were so popular with Shakeys customers are available here. My wife and I decided to split a medium pepperoni, mushroom and sausage. We also ordered a side of mild wings. The wings were cooked just right, not to crunchy and not overcooked which makes them dry. The mild sauce is vinegar based with a kick. I am a wimp, these wings were spicy to me, but very tasty. If you know Shakeys, then you know one of the way they put there signature on the pizza was to put corn meal on the bottom. This helps it from sticking, burning and gives it a funky texture and taste. The pizza was not exceptional, but it was not bad. If we are in the area again, we will stop on in.

I think their pizza is great. But here is my problem: FALSE advertising, especially when it comes to their«specials». I went there on a Sunday, and their«special» is: Sunday Upgrade the size of your pizza to the next size larger for just 1.99. Obviously you would think that if you ordered a medium pizza for 16.00, getting a large would be 18.00, right? Nope. We ordered two medium speciality pizzas and get our bill: Two large pizzas at $ 22.45 and $ 20.15, minus $ 1.42 for each pizza… How exactly am I upgrading for 2.00 and saving any money? Basically they charged you for the price of the large and subtracted $ 1.42(why, I still don’t know). When I brought it to the attention of the cashier, she said that’s just how it is/do it in the system. I decided to email them, and let them know the above – that was two weeks ago and no response from the restaurant at all. Pretty shady stuff Chuck. Don’t think I will be going there again anytime soon.

I really like coming here. It’s comfortable and fun. I always run into old friends and I can wear jeans and a t-shirt if I want. You can bring your kids, your loud friends, babies, and your grandparents, they all are welcome. They have a great happy hour with half price on well drinks and beer, but it is exactly that, It goes for one hour from 5 – 6 pm on weekdays. The non-happy hour prices on drinks are already very reasonable. The food is not included in happy hour but the pizza that we both split was right around $ 13, a price I was more than happy to pay. They also offer a 10% off Unilocal check-in discount. The atmosphere is old school pizza parlor, like the kind you met the team at after sports games as a kid. I love it. They’ve got big tables to seat large groups, and older bar, poker machines, a pool table and video games. It’s happily noisy, with family and friends having a good time. We sat at the bar and our service was great, we never had to wait for a refill on drinks and our waitress was bubbly, friendly and quick. It’s not a haute cuisine, wood-fired pizza kind of place. Just a delicious, thin crusted pepperoni(or topping of your choice) pizza with a flavorful, savory sauce, and it’s perfectly cooked, with gooey melted cheese and a little bit charred(in a good way) crispy crust. This kind of pizza reminds me of my high school post football game hang out days and It should. It’s the same pizza recipe that I grew up eating at the original Shakey’s pizza restaurant now known as Boulevard Pizza.

Absolutely awesome Unilocal check in here. Make sure that you do check in! The pie here has great quality meats, pretty tasty crust, the one item that seemed to be missing was the same quality cheese. The taste was just slightly off. None the less, it was very tasty to me and my family. Since I was in town and wanted to have pizza during USC’s bowl game, I decided that i would get us a pie for dinner during the game. After looking around at the overall ratings, we decided to try this place. We were all happy that I did. The thin crust was very tasty. The staff was friendly when we went in to pick it up. They have a full dining room and a salad bar inside the restaurant. It just isnt a come and leave pick up only kinda spot. Pro Tip: You can keep the kids entertained with the arcade area as well. They had a number of video games here just ready to eat your quarters… I can totally see this joint as the type of pizza parlor that I would go to as a kid after a soccer or baseball game and we would split a pie or two with a pitcher or two of soda and a video game or two. They dont have these kind of places very often in So Cal, so it was nice to come in here and experience it again. So I would suggest checking this place out if you are in the Reno Sparks areas. Tasty… remember that =D

I always love this place! Of course it’s always nice when the staff knows you by name. I love the salad bar selection and the pizza always has a great thin crispy crust which is how I like it. To nite tho I had deep fried food… yup I did. I had half an order of the appetizer sampler. Mushrooms, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and zucchini… all battered and deep fried oh yeah and dipped in ranch! Crunchy craving satisfied!!!
