First time experience. I’ve been in the area for a year and have floated around several nail salons in Sparks and two in Reno but have yet to find my place. I called same day and made an appointment. I actually arrived an hour early(because I was wearing a watch that I hadn’t worn since daylight savings). They had one customer and didn’t bat an eyelash at my early arrival. I got a pedi(with my own color) and needed a repair job from my last manicure. I chose a color from their gel selection(presented in gorgeous fashion). The owner(Lilly?) filled and reshape my nails with a gorgeous gel color application paying close attention to detail(no sides showing). $ 55 for a pedi, fill, and gel is pretty standard. I will definitely rebook as I already spotted a perfect color to support my Super Bowl choice. If you live in the Wingfield Springs area I highly recommend them.

Awful. My daughter was getting married the next day and when she accidentally snugged a toenail owner went crazy. The entire bridal party had to spend the whole hour listening to the husband yell at the wife owners in their native tongue. Very bad and awkward experience we will never go back.

Being new to the Sparks area, it was important to me to find a GOOD nail salon. I had a great nail technician in Sacramento. so my standards were high. Tried 4 different places around town before I gave Simply Nails a try. Lilly is an angel! She did an excellent job on my french manicure. I got alot of compliments! The salon is clean and everyone is very friendly. I’d recommend Simply Nails to anyone!

I was a little hesitant to try this place after reading the other Unilocal reviews but I think they must have a screw loose. My appointment was at 3:30 I was in the bomb-ass massaging pedi chair at 3:35. The pedicure was hands down the best pedi I have ever had. There were only three ladies working and all three took care of me at some point. The manicure was delightful and my nails look great. $ 55 total(including gel mani) and I was out the door in under 2 hours. I highly recommend making an appointment, not because it is required but because it is the decent thing to do. If you have never worked with the public you will just have to trust me on this one.

Let’s just say the WORSTPLACEEVERWITHEXTRARUDENESS. Came in to do a manicure since I’m just visiting some family from San Jose CA. Apparently EVERYONE needs an appointment!?? Then there should be a sign that states BYAPPOINTMENTONLY. What’s even more sad, no customers were even in there. To everyone that plans on going here… Best of luck!

Why did I come here… I live out in Wingfield and for years I have driven by this place and wondered why I have never gone in… Well I figured it out. I walk in, no customer service at all. No one looks up to even greet me. So finally someone takes me to the pedicure chair. The lady comes over and starts right away, no talking. I try to engage in conversation, still nothing. The massage was a 5 out of 10. Wasn’t the most terrible massage but definitely wasn’t the best. After the massage she rushed everything! My toenail polish was the sloppiest thing I have seen! If I wanted them to like like that I would have just painted my toes myself. Needless to say I will not be coming back here again.

I live in Sacramento and whenever I am visiting family in Sparks I try to make an appointment here for a pedicure. They do a great job and everything is sanitary. Appointments are a must because this is not a typical nail salon with a large staff.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Please find another place to get your nails done! The owner of the shop, Richard, treated my 66 year old mom horribly yesterday. My mother has issues with her balance and has artheriosclerosis in her legs. Due to this, she sometimes needs to hold onto someone to walk. She was getting a pedicure, and she was wearing flip flops with foam between her toes. She needed a bit of help, so asked Richard if she could hang into his arm. Richard then says to my mother, «you really need to be sober when you come in here.» My poor mom! She told him she has medical issues, and he apologized, but WHAT!!! Who the hell just assumes something like that, then actually says it out loud to a customer? My mom was in tears when she told me what happened. She will not go back there, and I hope that none of my friends will either. Please spread the news… Simply Nails should be ashamed of themselves.

Sloppy job. Polish started peeling off right away. Horrible customer service. No interaction with us. Spoke foreign language constantly. They did not apply lotion or remove dry skin on heels. Walmart is much better!

Don’t even bother going here because with only 2 other people waiting and 3 staff members, they will tell you rudely ‘I don’t have time for that’ when asked if I can have a pedicure. Why can’t customers wait while soaking their feet. Give me break worst customer service EVER!!!

They do a wonderful job on gel polish. The shop is clean and does not have a overwhelming nail product smell.

Great spot to get your nails and they take appointments and STICK To them! Not like some other places that say they can take you and then make you wait for an hour! Ask for Hannah — she’s so sweet and does a great job!

I’ve been going here for almost 3 years and have never had a bad experience. The salon started out with Lily and her husband Richard. They had expanded for awhile to three technicians and are back to just two with Richard doing a lot of the behind the scenes stuff. One of the best features is the lollipops they have for you while you are getting your treatments and the movies they play on the big screen television. I feel as if I’m getting a nail treatment right in my own home! Additionally, I can’t say enough about their prices. For the amazing treatments you get, the prices are outstanding. Lily’s work beat out anyone around town. If you are looking for a great treatment at a fantastic price, this is the place to go!

It took only one visit before Lilly learned my name — just by voice alone. The first time I called(after the first visit) to schedule a fill, she knew who I was. This made it all the more personable, and I felt good knowing that I was going to a salon that cared. They do an amazing job with the nails, are always very polite and accommodating, and the prices are seriously unbeatable from the local competitors. I believe I pay only like $ 43 for a fill and pedicure; that’s because I choose to get the Crackle nail polish — which they have an abundance of! Lilly has almost every color imaginable. I would definitely recommend them to any and everyone! Their salon is clean, state-of-the-art, and there’s always a good new movie on for entertainment! An easy 5 stars!
