Large thrift store but not much to look at.(Lots of clothes though!) I’m from California(sonoma county) and our thrift stores are affordable but here its CHEAP. Not sure what minimum wage is here but I went crazy on the prices.(Good crazy) I would have bought furniture if I wasn’t here for vacation and a small car. I might be moving here in a few years and so far I will be visiting here SOON again and again. It mainly looks big outside though because one side of the building is for donations and organizing.

Today, Dec 15, 2015, went back to the store, the ladies working the afternoon shift were very friendly and helpful. I found some nice men’s shortsleeve dress shirts which were size Small. pretty good condition. A couple of new Ann Taylor tops, & a new Abercrombie distressed boyfriend jeans. a book and a wrought iron plant hanger… so happy with my purchase :) and by the way the staff were friendly today ;)

I like the fact I’m buying a donating at the same time. The staff wasn’t helpful and the prices were a little high.

For such a large space they really didn’t have a lot to look at. It was clean, plenty of parking, and lots of clothes. I found more bargains at the little thrift store next door to them actually.

This store thinks it’s okay to profit from the sale of military burial flags. I talked to Carol, the store manager, and he disagreed that the flag should be donated to VFW or American Legion. I will never step foot in this store again!

This was by far one of the cleanest thrift stores we have been in. The staff was friendly, the clothes were nice and clean, the selection of items was diverse and they had very good prices.

Excellent store! Super clean, super organized, and their inventory is vast. I found a few things I’m looking for and I will definitely be back. The staff are pleasant :)

Too expensive for a thrift store. These are 100% donated items. I could understand if it were a second hand or consignment shop where the items are paid for on top of overhead, but these are donated. I spent $ 9 on three small child’s tee shirts… not any kind of name brand either. I buy a lot of my kids play clothes at thrift stores, but I don’t think I will be back here. I asked the cashier why the prices were less for childrens clothes at the St. Vincents downtown, she said I don’t know and repeated the total, not friendly at all. I didn’t want to be rude and say, nevermind, so just paid and left. Sorry, no interest in going back.

I think the Super Thrift is a great store. I’ve been several times since the grand opening and everyone is super helpful. I’ve found some really nice clothes and name brand furniture. I would have to totally disagree with other reviewers on the layout of the store. I was also there on Opening Day and yes, it was packed, the lines were out the door. I think it might have been hard to visualize the setup. There are signs hanging from the ceiling to mark each area, there is a separate boutique area for purses, hand bags and other neat items and the shoes are sorted by size! I haven’t been to any other thrift store that actually takes the time to sort out shoes like this. I didn’t think it was dirty at all. It’s much cleaner than other stores I’ve been to in Reno/Sparks. Overall I think the super thrift is a good addition to the community and I know I’ll keep coming back for the great bargains.

My family loves this place. Two teen daughters and one hobby-laden husband have visited this new location multiple times. Bargains? You bet! Name brands for the«girls» on clothes, three pair of brand new shoes, a brand new VHS player, never-worn his clothing and some vintage coffee mugs. All under a Uylsses. We all walked out happy. They have each gone back for more since our initial visit. Each time the inventory changes — an organized treasure trove.

The generosity of local givers gets the best«thank you» possible at this well-laid-out and easy-to-shop venue. it’s not just about the bargains, which are many, but about the quality of the bargains. There’s lots of good stuff here. I’ve already picked up some cool electronics, some smart-looking shorts and various household items. My daughters found barely used kicks for a fraction of what they’d pay even at a discount shoe store. The staff and volunteers are always helpful and friendly. If thrifting is your thing, this is the place to be. And who can discount the fact that it’s all for a good and noble cause?

Words cannot express the disappointment I felt when I walked into(and after I left) the new St. Vincent’s store on Glendale in Sparks. The much anticipated Grand Opening had long boasted a great selection and tons of square footage and I made the mistake of envisioning Thrift Shop Heaven. When I first walked I felt a tad overwhelmed. The store seemed really big and I was excited to spend a good amount of time in the store looking for treasures. They have very little inventory. They have TONS of clothes but nothing much in the way of handbags, shoes, home décor items or other trinkets. Perhaps it is because they just opened and need more donations? The store is trying to have a cowboy theme. They have a large wagon/glass display counter and the walls are covered with cowboy art and country western items with large signs saying none of it is for sale… call me crazy but wouldn’t the walls be better utilized to hand wall art that IS for sale? The cowboy theme does not cover up the fact that the store is dirty and un-organized. It feels more like a poorly put together garage sale where half the items appear broken. When I got to the back of the store I was stunned to see that half the square footage of the building is used for their storage and sorting! So this Thrift Store is essentially half the size that it was boasting the whole time.(If you used to frequent the JC Penny outlet just cut the store in half down the middle where the cash registers where and that’s ALL the shopping space they have). They need to amp this store up. Open the square footage, clean it up and get better inventory. I probably won’t give it a 2nd chance for a few months. I’m going to give it 2 stars instead of 1 giving them the benifit of the doubt that my experience was indicitive of a new store working out the bugs. I will be sure to update on my next trip.
