Really big store and it seems to be pretty nice with a large selection. All kinds of items but it seems to be primarily clothes. Friendly staff and nice location. You should check it out if your interested in thrift stores. You’ll be supporting a good cause.

I like this thrift store, I usually stop in when I’m in Reno. They have some nice clothing for children. I’ve purchased some nice clothes/shoes for my grandsons. For the most part, it’s pretty clean. And the prices can’t be beat! They also have a nice selection of books at a REASONABLE price!

Huge store! Good selection, but unfortunately, I’ve only found one thing here for the past few times I visited. Nonetheless, clean and organized enough to make me keep checking it out once in awhile.

I’m in no way affiliated with UCP but I feel compelled to address some of the poor reviews with my own experience. Many of the employees are people with disabilities. They are kind wonderful people who depend on public transportation and I must assume that this is one of the reasons this store promptly closes at 6:00. This business also relies on donations – so if the selection is small that also reflects on the generosity of the community and doesn’t rest solely on the shoulders of UCP. This business does amazing things with the profits it makes from your unwanted items. This can be a really great store to shop in if we all remember what their mission is – helping those people and families ravaged by this debilitating disease. I want to stress that I’m in no way affiliated with UCP and I am not a spokesman for their business. I’m not related to any of the personnel but I have seen this disease destroy loved ones. Please give this place a chance. Donate something or do a little shopping. Your dollars go further and help more people than you think.

Great store! I appreciate that they truly help the people they benefit from sales. Staff is friendly and helpful, and I am happy to support a wonderful store like UCP in Reno. I live an hour away but this is always the FIRST store I hit when in Reno. Found clothing, books, and housewares.

They have a very large selection of clothes, mostly from the 80’s and 90’s. I thought the pricing was excellent and the store was large enough to wander through for awhile. If you like vintage and digging through old stuff, this place is for you. I found quite a bit of vintage 80’s clothing and only spent $ 16. I’ll be back!

Nothing great but that’s just my opinion. Maybe on a different day they will have something worth buying. Store is small.

Selection is small, so I can see why they get one-star reviews. But the prices seem right on the stuff they do have. I’ve been checking out thrift stores for the last couple of weeks and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen stuff almost as expensive in the thrift store as it is new. Here I got a nice Italian ah so corkscrew for myself and an American-made can opener and nine nice forks and spoons for the communal kitchen area at work and paid a grand total of $ 3.76. That’s worth three stars from me.

I’ve only been a few times in it’s short period of existence but wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t last very long. HORRIBLE customer service. I was just turned away from their store, and told to come back tomorrow because they were closing in ten minutes. It was 5:50 and the store closed at 6. The store clerk told me she was trying to «get people out» so she could be gone by 6. I was a bit let down, but didn’t push it,. After I drove away, though, it stuck with me enough that I actually pulled over to call the store to express my disappointment. When I called, the same woman answered and said she was the manager when I asked for one. I told her that I was a bit upset that I had been turned away even though the store was technically supposed to be open, and that I knew exactly what I was going in for, and wouldn’t have been long, and that I just wanted to express concern that they had just lost a sale. She cut me off and in a very snappy and condescending tone, explained again how she had a lot of people she was trying to get out by 6, and basically told me she didn’t have time to even listen to me. That put me over so much I actually laid into her a bit and she straight up hung up on me. Their brilliant customer service standards tell me this store doesn’t have time for you or your money and they don’t care if you like it or not. Just think about it: A Cerebral Palsy charity that turns money away at the doors! Better off skipping this one. Savers and Good Will are right down the street and they’re nice there!
