Four stars, maybe 4.5 stars for the homemade pastrami. The rest of the place is so stripped down the experience kind of suffered. I could see this being a four-star place once they get the customers built up and they’re able to offer more, but of course it’s a Catch 22 of trying to get the money to do more. This opened a couple of months ago in what used to be Parisa’s in the industrial section of Sparks. It’s hard to find. I heard about the fresh pastrami and that they served breakfast, so in my mind I was thinking pastrami omelet. The breakfast options are ham, egg and cheese on a Sara Lee bagel, the taco or pancakes with maybe bacon. They said they will put any meat on a bagel. I ended up getting a pastrami sandwich. I sat down in the dining room, which has plastic table clothes and cheap chairs. There is a ping pong table pushed up against the wall which kind of seems odd. No action is possible on one side of the table. I heard the grill sizzle as they heated up my pastrami. Then they brought it out in a sytrofoam to go box. It was a younger man and woman operating it. I’m guessing a couple if not brother and sister. The pastrami is a the real deal and may be the best in the area. It’s at least as good as the pastrami at Michael’s. I forgot to ask about bread options. It was served on a roll, which is good, but I’d really like to get pastrami on nice rye. The French fries that came with it were just okay. It was $ 6 for the sandwich and fries. I’d like to try the other homemade meats. The Grill at 380 seems to be more like a take out place, though.

The grill at 380 is a diamond in the rough. Tucked away in the industrial area of sparks(Freeport and Linda.) In a city well diverse in cuisine the grill at 380 is a great addition. From their homemade pastrami, corned beef, and roast beef. To their daily specials like Philly cheese steak, meatball sub, and meatloaf sandwich. They also serve breakfast.” try the breakfast taco” Fresh ingredients, good people and good food. They also have a ping pong table in the shop, so you can get your ping pong on while waiting for your food. When you visit the grill at 380 ask for«the rich»(pastrami on a french roll with mustard, mayo, spicy coleslaw, lettuce, tomato, and Swiss… The best sandwich ever!!!
