Good food at a fair price with great service(Mom). Truck drivers of all sorts crammed into a lunch counter diner trailer with the mandatory desert cooler rocking homemade eclairs, rice pudding, and pies. Sweet tea, homemade soups, all-day breakfast, fried stuff, and an ever-changing specials board. If you are looking for a romantic meal or even prefer cloth napkins — this is not the spot for you.

Let me begin by saying I created this Unilocal account JUST to review this restaurant. I am more than unhappy with my experience here. Let’s start with the positives though; the service was wonderful, our waitress was a kind lady who was prompt and I left her a sizable tip. The place is also a small out of the way business and it’s nice to support local and family over a chain. The food on the other hand was terrible. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and my boyfriend ordered a gyro platter. It was the blandest food I’ve ever eaten. Not only did my sandwich come sloppy full(I love a large BBQ pulled pork but the bottom roll fell apart as soon as I touched it and enough meat spilled out to make a second whole sandwich) but the meat tasted like nothing. There was no flavor to the sauce or the pork. The potato salad was just as bad, I had to load it with salt and pepper just to gag down some of it because I was really hungry. My boyfriends gyro was the same story, no flavor. The meat was bland, the tzatziki was bland, the vegetables were flavorless. I hate sounding like a broken record but it was all so terrible that I only finished the parts of my sandwich that stayed on the roll out of sheer hunger and my boyfriend only had a few bites of his gyro and a few more of his salad before we just paid and left. Here’s a tip: There’s a Royal Farms up the road, just get some chicken, it tastes better and is cheaper.

I came here today for my first time in a good while. This place is a little out of the way, but certainly worth the trip. They have a full well rounded menu with home style cooking that you can’t help but enjoy. And a nice breakfast, lunch, or dinner certainly won’t break the bank. I had a Philly Cheese steak sub and it was great. My mother had the shrimp salad sandwich that she really enjoyed as well. All in all, I try to stop in here every time I am nearby. Well worth the visit.

Very good food and reasonably priced. Very friendly atmosphere and clean. Seems a little dated but has that old fashioned diner feel. Hot roast beef sandwich with fries is my favorite. Never been disappointed.

One of those overlooked sort of places. It’s a greasy spoon, but not bad at all. Went for breakfast with my grandmom after taking her to the doctors. Clean, fast, and good are the three words that come to mind. The couple of times i have been their it hasn’t been to busy, so you get waited on in quick order. On top of it the staff is pretty friendly. My grandmother ordered eggs, sunny side up, bacon, potatoes and toast(2 slices). As for me, i took their Italian Sausage omelet(Sausage, sweet peppers, mushrooms, and mozzarella). It comes with potatoes and toast(2 slices). To say it is good would be an understatement. Could i get better from somewhere else, sure. But for the area and a simple breakfast, i can’t complain. The portions are generous to say the least, my grandmother got a least 6 slices of some decent sized bacon. Needless to say we both came away happy. Will be returning.
