Our boiler is too old to get a service contract with my oil company so I turned to some local companies for regular servicing.
I had heating issues which I tracked down to air in the base boards. Scott came out for a service call and was able to flush the pipes and gave me the run down on how I could do it myself should the problem reappear. The valves were not installed in the correct places so nothing I found online applied to my system but it was no problem for them to figure out.

Something has happened to this Mom/​Pop business! I have used them for cleanings the past couple of years and they were very good. We had a recent problem where our furnace stopped working and I called Beck for a service call. The abbreviated story is that after many phone calls to the wife (Scott, the owner will not give his cell phone and the wife rarely answers the business phone), I finally heard from the wife that Scott could not figure out how to open my unlocked gate (??) !! However since we were not at home (left door unlocked for him), wife would not connect me with Scott to tell him how to open gate, so he left! I called and left 3 more messages for wife to resechule the service call. She NEVER called back, and does not answer my phone calls. I gave their name out to at least 4 families when they were a responsible company. Have called all 4 to tell them what happened, and all 4 are dropping them. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Reset man! Parts Changer. If your looking for peace of mind look elsewhere. No Emergency service, closed nights and weekends! I love hiring local small town type of businesses but that doesn’t always work out. The first time I tried Beck bros my boiler was making a whining noise but was working just fine and knew it was the oil pump, Scott came in took it apart and couldn’t get it running again and didn’t have a replacement on the truck or in the shop! The most popular oil pump on the most popular residential oil burner in the USA, so we spent one of the coldest nights without heat. Came back the NEXT DAY and replaced it. I recommend finding a seasoned pro.
