Old heavy manager lady is cranky and unfriendly. She scolded me for using the contact-​less payment reader they have, saying it doesn’t work. I have used on multiple visits at this location and it works fine and take the money out my account perfectly. Because of her I will take my $ 10+ dollar a day purchases to The Maverick that seems to have their act together. Sorry Terri your boss has blown it.

Overpriced medicine? Check. Sketchy individuals sitting on the bench outside the front door? Check. Questionable laundromat? Check. 80’s muscle car parked at an angle in the lot? Check.
Yep, this gas station has it all. And I really couldn’t ask for anything more.
It is within walking distance. It is open really late. It has a free air pump. The clerks are always super nice. And it was the only place that carried the promo Diet Mountain Dew bottles, for the win!
So even though it is stereotypically a pretty standard quickie-​mart, it is *MY* stereotypically pretty standard quickie-​mart. And for that, I will always be a faithful patron … until I move, of course. Then I will accept offers for new gas station romances.
