Scrumdiddilyumttious Donuts

Not sure if this place doesn’t make enough donuts… But for all the rave reviews one would think they would have enough to carry them through noon at least!
I’m here for my daughters volleyball tournament and wanted something sweet well… That was a no go by 10:15 am the racks were bare not a donut in site! Sorry coffee you’ve missed your play mate.

We got a dozen mixed and every single one was delicious. Coffee was not bad either. I got there around 7:30 am and there was a large variety.

I know we are supposed to support local establishments over national chains, but how can you if you can’t get what you want? I will preface this by noting that our circumstances are a little different. My oldest daughter has autism, so it’s hard for her to deal with change. However, two trips, twice out of the donut she likes. I’m sure the notion is a limited supply due to freshness. I’ll sacrifice a little freshness in return for «in stock». Now, unfortunately, off to Krispy Kreme.

Family friendly, cozy setting, very good service and good donuts & coffee. The regulars are good company. Coffee in mugs instead of paper cups when you stick around. Drive thru is speedy and very friendly. They do a great job!

I called this place to see if they still had donuts. There was no answer… the line went to a answering machine.
Seeing as it was only 10:45 and the machine said they were open until 12:30…I figured it was a safe bet that they would have SOMETHING. I decided to drive the 15 minutes and try my luck.
I arrive at 10:55 and there is a sign on the door that says «Out of donuts for the day»!
What’s the point of advertising you are open until 12:30 when you close before 11:00?! I find this extremely annoying and unprofessional. At the least, adjust your answering machine recording to say you decided to close an hour and a half early. Or, better yet, have someone answer the phone during your assigned business hours.

Hit this place up for the first time on a Wednesday morning for our daughter’s «Birthday Donuts» at 7:30am. Service was slow but friendly. The woman behind the counter said the maple/​chocolate old-​fashioneds were their most popular donut. Guess what? Those were stale along with the cinnamon/​sugar twists. Won’t be back :/

Hands down BEST donuts I’ve ever had! Great prices and service. Get them while they last! So make sure you get there early because they go quick. Whatever is left they usually sell them at the gas station next door. ENJOY!!!

If you get there past 9am good luck getting any doughnuts. Not worth the time.

I thought about giving a lower rating. But the owners are gear and the kids loved seeing them. My only complaint is… Unless you are there at 8am you will not get any donuts. Stopped by there yesterday a little after 10… they had nothing really. Just wanted a chocolate glazed and a chocolate bar. These are the staples at any donut store. But not here. Once they are out they don’t make any more. Kids were disappointed.

Everything is relative. They are a wholesaler with a retail counter. They bake in the afternoon/​evening, still, I believe, for overnight/​early-​morning deliveries to retailers, so what is in their case in the morning and early afternoon is not early-​morning fresh, like most retail shops. Goods are usually grease-​soaked («heavy»), and on the stale side. They are essentially small-​market/​convenience-​store-​type donuts. Mike’s on Sprague just west of Bowdish is FAR superior (except for business hours), and Donut Parade at Hamilton and Illinois easily beats, as well. I have been to SD a couple dozen times in the past fifteen years – at their current location and their previous site in Otis Orchards. The service is usually pushy. She tries to persuade purchase of whatever she has too many of. It is common to feel sick from grease after two or three. If you can time it for when whatever you are having is fresh, they can be fairly good.

I love these donuts and I am glad they are on my way to work. The peanut butter chocolate squares are my favorite. One morning they even put bacon on it for me, but it was too over the top.

Awesome donuts! Would much rather go here over Krispy kremes.

Not as good as GoodieGood, but these are legal! I always pop over from Boston for these. If you live near here, go get fat. Bacon Maple is to die for.

Great food and excellent service, can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this place until Unilocal.It’s a new must visit for weekend breakfast fare.

Lucky for me I live right up the road from here! Went here one afternoon and was instantly in donut heaven. The donuts are soft and don’t taste odd like the ones you get from chain grocery stores. I should come here more often, but I don’t. Nice variety and the staff are really nice. Oh, and they give a wonderful military discount and I think kids get a free donut, so it makes me think the establishment is family oriented, which is wonderful in my book.

Recently relocated to Spokane and were looking for a weekly sunday donut shop. Unilocal lead us here and I can say we’ll be returning. Free donut with a specialty coffee, both donut and mocha were delicious. We’ll be regulars soon enough!

This is what Unilocal’s all about for me, finding hole-​in-​the-​wall places that offer amazing food. We happened upon this little shop while in search for coffee, but were persuaded to pick up a dozen assorted donuts by the delicious smell that hit our noses upon stepping inside.
The maple bar was fantastic, nice maple flavor, without the make-​your-​teeth-​fall-​out sweetness. The filling in the cherry turnover tasted pleasantly like cherry soda. The dough was crispy yet soft, not overly dense, this donut shop is a winner in my book, check it out!
