Service was excellent. My partner in crime and I both wanted to try the bun and phở being that it was our first visit. We asked our waitress if she could split it for us. She rolled out the red carpet and went above and beyond. Brought us two small bowls, two plates, soup ladle, and a pair of tongs. We got to split it ourselves. It was great.(She apologized that she didn’t herself. She said people complain that she didn’t split it evenly. Seriously people?!?) Taste and quality of food? We liked it. It hit the spot. Well priced. We enjoyed it. And if we are in the area again feeling like phở or bun then we will come back. The taste of the phở broth was a bit different than what we are used to. Not bad, just couldn’t quite place it. Broth was more sweet than salty? Cinnamon? We couldn’t quite tell. For me the chicken bun at Phở Van remains the best. The spring rolls were good, but I would add basil and the wrap was a bit chewy/tough. The peanut sauce, however, two thumbs up. The parking lot needs some serious pothole maintenance. I have a Crosstrek and if I were still driving an Accord then my car may have been in a world of hurt. I’m giving this place 4 stars because our waitress went above and beyond our expectations. Plus, she was the only waitress serving up the place and there were three large groups and another four sets of 2 – 3 people per table. Basically, she made it a good experience to dine there. For those who go for food and not service then I recommend to give this place a try if and when in the area. But if you are closer to Spokane then my recommendation is Phở Van for bun and Vina Asian for phở.

I love this place. I was in town for 24 hours for business and managed to eat dinner and then lunch the following day at Phở Saigon. It’s a great family run place, where they were very friendly and welcoming. I am a new vegetarian and one of the daughters took the time to explain my options and told me that at any Phở place to always specify vegetable broth. I had the p6, the vegetable phở and tofu, and the vegetable spring rolls. Delicious and perfectly seasoned. I will definitely eat there on my next trip to the Spokane area.

This is a great family owned resturant. The food is great, service is great, mom even comes out of the kitchen to make sure all is good. Highly recommend it.

Been to several Pha restaurants in the Spokane area, this is by far my favorite. The staff is friendly, and food is great.

We found this place on an internet search for phở in Spokane. At first we weren’t sure about going in, but the reviews we saw were good. Not an impressive décor. We got there about 2pm and the place was empty. The young lady that was our server was the owner’s daughter. She did a wonderful job and was very friendly and accommodating. The phở broth was delicious and everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Prices were good too.

I just relocated to Spokane Valley from Seattle, so I have high expectations for my phở and bun bo hue. This place did NOT disappoint. The Bun Bo Hue broth was so flavorful I thought I was in heaven. I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and oh my gosh, it was pure gold. I am dying to know what brand of coffee they use. If you like your coffee strong, this is the place to go. The girl who took my order had outstanding customer service skills and I will definitely be back.

the food was fine but so dingy, smoky and sticky/dirty inside! yuck, i’ve never been so disgusted by a place to eat before. i went here for dinner at 7pm and it seemed like it was closed but it was indeed open. when i walked in, it was quite smoky and i just knew my clothes would absorb the smell. half of the place’s lights were off and it was dimly lit inside. that would’ve been ok if it was to evoke the feeling of an intimate restaurant but that’s definitely not the case. i felt like i was in a ghost restaurant that never quite finished renovations 10 years ago. i honestly would’ve left had i not come with my friend. she is vietnamese and says this is the best viet place in spokane. there were just two groups of 2 – 3 that came in after me so i got my food quickly. personally, i find it hard to differentiate between vietnamese places where the same choices are offered– phở, vermicelli bowls, rice with a meat choice and fried egg. i should say that i also don’t quite have an affinity for aforementioned vietnamese dishes. they’re good but i wouldn’t exactly crave or suggest them. i would’ve rated this place higher as the food tasted no better or worse than other vietnamese places with the same menu but the atmosphere was just extremely dingy! i usually don’t mind as i love hole in the wall places but i didn’t particularly love my meal here nor any aspect of it. my table and seats were clearly so sticky, like had it ever been wiped before? i hesitantly put my wallet on the table and it ended up with something sticky on it. the forks were so dirty when they came out, my friend wiped both of ours. my server was courteous enough, sometimes she would talk without making eye contact like she was far off somewhere else, which i get. this obviously isn’t a place to expect outstanding custy service or anything obviously. if i ever would want vietnamese, i can go somewhere else at least with a warmer ambience and an inkling cleaner than this place.

There is a first time for everything and tonight was the first time we’ve ever got up from a table and left before even trying the food. Upon entering the restaurant there were several other diners, but definitely not packed and still a few open tables. We sat ourselves and waited for someone to put waters and menus down. After several minutes went by my husband went up to the front and asked the young girl working for some menus. No reply whatsoever, no nod, no smile as she grabbed menus and hastily walked over to the table and threw them down. No other way to put it she looked pissed. Thorougly unhappy as though she just hated her job and hated us. Never even brought waters, and eventually when she had to bring food to the table next to us looked over and said«it’ll be a few more minutes.» We smiled and told her no problem. She looked overwhelmed and flustered. Watched a car pull up outside for take out that she left the restaurant for and brought out to the car. Server walked back inside and right past our table again without taking our order. We waited a total of 20 minutes with no real service or even a glass of water. Watched the server continue looking like the job was just too much to handle and decided we better come back another time. Looking forward to trying the Phở, but will do so when we can also be treated with common courtesy. *Edit* Response comment on this review from Linda reflects the poor mannerism we experienced from her inside the establishment. Linda’s response questions our 20 minute wait in time with no acknowledgement in «parenthesis» implying it was not accurate, it was. Server goes on to dismiss complaint that she threw the menus down on the table in exasperation/rudeness/being overwhelmed, also implying that was not accurate. It was. Furthermore the Unilocal response sounds as overwhelmed as the business looked when we came in. It’s obvious she was having a bad night, but the response is all the information we need to skip this place indefinitely and not give it another try as intended. You’re very welcome for the review Linda. And a simple«I’m sorry you had that experience and I’d love for you to try us again» Would be an appropriate customer earning response. I hope you’re day gets better!

I would have given them 4 stars because their food is good, but I had a to go order and they forgot to give me a dish I ordered. When I called to tell them what had happened, they said they would take charge off my credit card. They never did fix it. So, I never went back. I go to Le’s now.

This place is cheap and good. The phở is standard, spring rolled fresh, and the staff is friendly. We were there for lunch on Sunday and it wasn’t busy.

Recovering from a cold on a chilly day, I was in need of some hot, delicious phở. I always approach phở with caution because I don’t eat meat and I know some of the best, most traditional phos are meat-based. After scouring the internet and trying desperately to figure out which phở place to try, we hit this one. And success! They do offer a truly vegetarian option, and it was delicious. The large portion was enormous, and we had plenty of leftovers. I will most definitely be back! Plus, they have quick service.

We stopped by after reading positive reviews. We had an excellent lunch, our waitress was amazing, polite and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. We will definitely be recommending this place as well as returning when we visit.

Impressed. Very good phở. Fresh rolls were good. I like more lettuce in them than vermicelli but were still very fresh and tasty. Excellent friendly service. Prices fair. Will have to return to try some of the other entrees. It won’t be long till I’m back.

I’ve been to a couple phở restaurants in spokane, this one by far beats them all. Everything on there menu is made in the restaurant, besides the pot stickers. The Phở is delicious everytime! They treat there customers with care unlike other phở restaurants on the north side… If your looking for delicious phở and great customer service then this is the place :).

We love this place. We moved to Spokane Valley after my husband was transferred and were sadly disappointed in the Phở offerings in the area. After living in Southern California we were quite spoiled. Someone had recommended this place and we were thrilled. The portions are great and the quality is wonderful. One of the best items is their lumpia. The family who owns the restaurant are so friendly. Linda is usually our waitress and never fails to remember the complicated additions our kiddo likes to make to his Phở. She also remembers his food allergy and prepares the food accordingly.
