Great food, friendly service. Had the steak dinner(top sirloin) and it was the BESTSTEAK I ‘ve had in a long time. Gravy on Mashed potatoes was awesome. I would recommend this Pub to everyone I know. Try the Irish Nudge… yummy

Met my brothers there on a Friday night, The server Julia was very nice and attentive despite being pulled in ten different directions… I ordered the signature«Irish Burger»…and was not impressed. The corn beef was dry and the beef paddy tough and overcooked, resembling a hockey puck., The reason they get three stars is I have eaten there on other occasions and the food was pretty good, that and the place was packed for a Zags game… Food for thought guys, busy happens, don’t let it affect your food quality… A good way to lose customers… Would I go back… Yep,. they’re one of the few places that serve Guinness on tap…;)

I just went there for breakfast. I had two eggs hashbrowns two pieces of sausage with gravy and a cup of coffee. 20 bucks sounds a little high. I will never go back. I was going to take the wife next Saturday not now.

Great place; food, beer, homey atmosphere, wait staff… all added up to a great experience. Enough to make us go back three times during a 4-day business trip. Maybe not a 5, but it deserves a 4.5, so I’m giving it a 5.

You can’t never go wrong with Fish & Chips and Guinness Beer. Good food, spirits and peeps. This place has limited space. So if you you’re going with a large group, best bet is to go to the one down Spokane Falls. Cheers!!!

It was a Father’s Day brunch. Nice to sit outside on the patio. The burnt brisket bbq omelette was fabulous!

After having one drink, we were refused to be served anymore. I feel like they were trying to close up, and didn’t want to serve anymore. But if that was the case they should have made last call. Very rude server. Its too bad cuz they make a killer bloody mary.

I love to come in here and reminisce about my trip to Ireland last year:) Today I enjoyed the wild salmon dinner(not warmed in the microwave) but fresh baked and crispy on top with mashed potatoes, gravy and wheat garlic bread… loved it! Many thanks to the cook!

Great rubin, tacky environment but somehow works, probably due to it’s confident staff. More of a restaurant then a bar, but overall fun and friendly.

My 15 Minute Refreshment Stop SITREP On a fun evening after checking out River Front Park, this is a convenient stop to pop right across the street from the Carousel to sneak in and have a cool one. THESETUP 15 minutes is all you need to ask for a Guinness, pop the top off, sip(or glug) and chill after sliding down the Big Red Radio Flyer Wagon slide, and then taking pictures of the Clock Tower, the ducks in the pond, and then mosy on «home»(my Uncle’s). No fuss. No muss. THELOWDOWN A great stop for a sip of Guinness.

Great Irish pub atmosphere. They need to get some good pics of the interior online because this is a very welcoming pub with a variety of seating choices, and the bar area is very cool with all the nice wood and decorative bottles of booze. OK, maybe I’m the only one who would see a bottle of Jameson as decorative, but to each their own. I thought the menu also had a great variety. They were out of brisket at lunch today, so I had the pulled pork sandwich with the BBQ beans. The beans were superb with a nice smoky flavor and just the right amount of pepper and other seasonings. The pulled pork was probably a 3⁄5 for me. Nice texture and tenderness, but really no smoke flavor. It didn’t taste bad at all, I just didn’t feel like it came from a smokehouse. It was definitely tender and moist. With an ice tea it came to $ 13.32 before tip. My server was very nice, but I think she was stretched a little thin. She was running all over that place taking care of people and my ice tea got pretty dry, but she was very apologetic as she filled it. I wasn’t parched so it was ok. I wish I could have stayed and had about 20 bucks worth of fine Irish beverages, but I had to at least pretend to work this afternoon. I still have time on this trip and may go back to try some other items. All in all, I look forward to going back.

Born and raised in NYC, and it’s been a bit since I’ve had a Reuben this good. Corned beef was lean, sauerkraut was perfect, and the bread was perfectly grilled. Get the Hooligan — you won’t be disappointed!

I love BBQ and usually go to CDa to Porky G’s for it. A friend told me this place had some good BBQ, Not. I will say when I walked in I had high hopes as you can smell the smoke. Wasn’t to be. As usual more times than not in the Spokane area this BBQ was a complete joke. I ordered the Brisket, upon arrival I two things jumped out at me. The meat looked like it had took a trip to a tanning booth without any lotion on, in other wards it BONEDRY. If this wasn’t bad enough there was Zero Smoke Ring, oh well pretty much knew it would end this way. The friend I went with ordered the ribs and although moist, no Smoke Ring there either. On top of all of this disappointment the bartender was fighting with three other customers about the food at the bar, sheesh. Skip this place if you are looking for BBQ. I have no idea about their other food.

Irish food, and… BBQ. That kind of sums it up. This is where lots of 21 year olds come for their birthday to have a big green monster, a quasi LIT out of a pitcher, before spinning the wheel down the street for their birthday prize. I You have to get there really early for a seat. Good size bar, but can get crowded in a not-great way(holding your drink) but if you like beer and Irish atmosphere and don’t mind the 21 year olds mixed with geezers, it is ok.

This is my favorite place to eat in Spokane. When I lived in Coeur d’Alene for 7 years, I would always try and hit up O’Doherty’s at least once a month. I love this place, because in addition to being a pub, there’s a restaurant area where you can bring those wh oare underage. So, you can share the excellent food with everyone. The atmosphere is fun. The decorations are all Irish related, despite the place also serving barbeque. Posters for Irish movies, a curling rock sits on one table, and there’s a frames poster of the Beatles over the bar. The bar is fantastic, they store the liqour bottles in what was once the confessional of an old church. At least I think that’s the part it was, all I really remember is it’s part of a church. There are also several televisions around, playing sports and whatever else catches the eye of the people there. It’s not fancy, but everything’s clean, and in good repair. The bar is well stocked, and there’s always a good selection of beer on tap. I’m not a beer girl myself, but I can respect that there’s usually a half dozen of the more uncommon beers around, including the ever present Guiness and Harp. There’s a good selection of other drinks, inclduing some unique to O’Doherty’s, like the Woo Woo. The food is one of the greatest parts of the place. Both the Irish food and the barbeque are good. They serve a corned beef and cabbage that’s excellent: big slices of corned beef, cabbage, and dinner salad and stew. Keep in mind it all arrives together, so be prepared for a lot of food, and make sure you get their horseradish with it. I absoltely love their Hooligan & Hannigan, it’s their recreation of a Reuban, and it’s the best I’ve ever had anywhere. They use chopped corned beef instead of slices, and instead of piling on a huge, thick, drippy slab of saurkraut, they mix the corned beef and saurkraut together, then pile it on dark rye with thousand island and cheese. It can be a little messy to eat, but you don’t pull out big strips of corned beef when you eat. Get it with their steak fries, and ask for a side of their barbeque sauce for dipping. All their barbeque is good, I’ve never encountered a meat that I didn’t like there. The turkey is especially good, and if you’re looking for a sandwich, get the Ultimate Burnt End. If you’re not familiar with a burnt end, the best way I can explain it is a barbeque sloppy joe, with shredded meat instead of ground beef. If you order it ultimate style, it comes covered in cheese, onions, and mushrooms, and it’s excellent. This is one of three restaurants I miss since moving away from the Spokane, Coeur d’Alene area a year ago. I didn’t get to visit much in the last year because of my profession(truck driver), but it’s the one place I try to go whenever I go up to visit family. It’s well worth a visit, especially if you’re tired of all the chain restaurants and want something different.

Beef stew is supposed to have a thick, gravy-like base, not a watery soup base. The two-star rating, ‘Meh, I’ve experienced better’ is appropriate. The stew was a whole lot of meh. The beer selection certainly is impressive for a main-road pub in the States but the food left me feeling all kinds of blah. There was too much oregano in the stew, not enough beef and the sausage was just bland. The service was friendly and decent but I have a hard time believing I’ll go back.

I can’t speak to «authentic» Irish cuisine because I am no expert there, but I know good food and it is here. The service was outstanding; the staff was quick and friendly. They weren’t too fast though; I hate places that give you the food so quick it feels like«hurry up and eat, we need this table». I also felt the prices were very reasonable, especially for the generous portions. The only thing I would change is that, if you order soup or salad with your entrée, it comes with it, and my personal preference is to get that first. But that is a minor thing overall when you consider all the good. I would also like to mention the décor and atmosphere was a fun one, and my boys(13, 10, and 6) thought the place looked«cool». I am looking forward to my next visit
