Delicious dirty chai lattes! Not necessarily a place I would want to hang out, but it is a great grab and go coffee shop.

There are a few very good coffee shops in Spokane, and this is one of them. I used to drive past here every day on my way to work. Then I moved to the wrong side of town, so I have to make a special trip across town on the weekends. It’s worth making the effort. I don’t ask for much. Just a latte with a little honey and cinnamon. You would be surprised at how many coffee shops manage to utterly yuck that up. But not here! Not only that, but on early mornings when my body arrives at the shop a good 20 minutes before my brain does, the owner Eric is really good at deciphering when I try to pantomime my order. He probably is good at playing charades, too. They also carry morning pastries from Chaps. But you better not order the last ham and cheese croissant. That one’s mine. They recently started carrying alcoholic beverages and serving soups. The pictures look yummy, but thus far, I haven’t arranged my weekend trip across town to coincide with lunch or socially acceptable drinking times. I cannot wait to try an alcoholic root beer float!

I’ve recently discovered this little treasure off of Sunset Blvd in Brownes Addition. It a great place to have a first date, or rekindle an old friendship. They have great, locally roasted coffee from Anvil.

The atmosphere is great, the ice cream is unique and delicious and the coffee is superb as well. Our barista was friendly and efficient. We were on our way to disc golf and the stop made the whole trip.

When our Explorer broke down in Spokane while going to a volleyball tournament for my daughter. There was this small coffee shop across from where we were waiting for a tow truck. Knowing it was going to be at least an hour before it arrived(it took 1.5 hours), my wife and I ventured across the street to get a latte. We both ordered a mocha and discovered non-homogenized milk. We’re from the Seattle area and have a latte every morning(we make our own). I was simply amazed at how good the mocha was. It wasn’t overly sweet. The coffee, chocolate and milk complimented each other really well. It was one of the best mocha’s I’ve had. If you like your mocha because you don’t like coffee, you might not like this. I like coffee in all it’s forms, from black(only really good coffee though) to mocha’s, lattes, cappuccino’s, espresso shots(again only really good coffee), etc. I can tell when the coffee is subpar even in a mocha/latte. We didn’t partake in any of the ice cream, but I can see stopping by this shop every time we pass through Spokane. I’ll be comparing all mocha’s I drink against theirs from now on.

This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop in Spokane! Unique, high focus on quality control, well priced, full of gorgeous art every month, and they even have healthy tasty snacks. I love you Cannon Coffee & Cone!

I really love supporting this coffee shop. As a local Brownes resident, I’m really glad this business is successful. The only complaint I have is that the drinks can be really inconsistent. The owner makes the best drinks, but sometimes when I get them from the other baristas they don’t taste nearly the same. Some baristas are very friendly, but other ones treat you like an inconvenience, especially if they have their own guests who are visiting. The coffee is a tad pricey, which would be totally fine, except I don’t want to pay 5 $ for a mocha if I don’t know how it’s going to taste. I still go there, but would go much more regularly if people were nicer and if I knew my drink would be delicious each time. I don’t go there if I don’t see the owner’s car outside.

Quirky and adorable, Cannon Coffee & Cone is sprinkling some creative flavor over this corner of Spokane. As you might have guessed, they serve both coffee and ice cream(made locally by Brain Freeze). They also have a sweet selection of hard to find sodas(like Dry Soda’s lavender and juniper flavors). Plus, they carry healthy to-go meals from Boots Bakery. So, you could call it a tiny collective of Spokane’s best edibles. It’s housed in a funky little shack on the side of the highway, with a porch & umbrellas. It feels like a hidden gem, popping up in a random residential area. Folks are friendly as can be! Ask about the secret menu of latte flavors: lemon-ginger, cayenne-cinnamon etc. You’ll feel like an instant local.

Stumbled upon this cute shop while exploring Spokane! The service was delightful! Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff/barista. The coffee was DELICIOUS! I am a coffee fanatic and I will say this was probably the best iced coffees I have had in a very long time! I will definitely make another stop by this place before I leave town!

The people who work here are always nice and they carry good coffee and ice cream. They have outdoor seating, which is perfect for a summer afternoon. I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Coffee Cannon & Cone not only manages to pull off an unpretentious alliterative name using only six different letters of the alphabet and an ampersand, they also create quality cups of craft coffee and are three scoops above other most other local ice creameries in their rotating selection of flavors. The terrace, out front along Sunset Boulevard, is among one of the finest around, featuring unique table that are essentially old tin barrels with grass growing in them, each topped with a black meshed metal patio table top. This is a gem of a spot on the south end Cannon Street in Browne’s Addition. Kids love this place, and grown-ups will too. Ambiant Excellence…

The first time I went to cannon coffee & cone I stood there after I had ordered my drink while the barista talked to another person the whole time. I stood there slightly awkward, because it was my first time there. Since then I was able to go one more time and it was a much better experience. They have good coffee, good ice cream, and a nice patio for morning and afternoon. It’s also very close to a park which is nice if you want to walk with your coffee.

Stopped here for a pick me up. The coffee great and the outdoor seating adorable(the tables have grass growing through them). The best part is that they have a wide selection of alternative milks. Come prepared to sit and relax a bit.

I love this place. Great little local business with good locally-sourced items and good service, a real addition to the neighborhood. I really like how they use Square so I can pay without my wallet. Each time I’ve gone, the person behind the counter seemed to actually appreciate my business.

I’m not a coffee snob but I do live in hipster coffee snob city, San Francisco. So I don’t have a favorite coffee brand but I know good coffee when I taste it. I also know good soy foam when I see it. Tired of Grandma’s instant Folger’s(I’m exagerrating) I drove over and asked a man who’s name rhymes with Hames Junt for a soy cappuccino with a sturdy foam. This request has often been met with a cup of bitter burnt espresso with a shallow layer of bubbles on top that disintegrate completely as I take my first sip. As The Fall played on the old victrola, he painstakingly crafted a single shot with such a substantial topping of foam that I could hardly break the barrier to the other portion of my caffeinated beverage. I was forced to chat with the barrista and two customers as I waited patiently for the dense material to break down into the coffee. To my surprise, instead of being aloof and condescending, they were friendly and kind. My new white moustache was significant and made me seem a little more distinguished as I picked up the business card for the Spokane Gender Identity Center. I tried the vegan coconut cupcake by Batch Bakery, I believe, and it was AMAZEBALLS, my friends. I give my highest recommendation for this establishment and deem it to be an oasis, albeit diminutive, in a land of topless and tasteless drive-thru«java» shacks.

Fave coffee spot in this town. They use Anvil Coffee on an old school coffee press, making sweet shots of espresso. The barista/owner is super friendly and loves talking about coffee. They have de-lish pastries from the woman behind Chaps bakery and small batch ice cream. This is a great place to grab a simple but well made cup of joe. There’s like one table outside you can sit on. Not really sportin’ the café vibe, ya feel it?
