Spokane, WA: contemporary flat-​pack, ready to assemble furnishings
While on the hunt for more bedroom storage cupboard units, a few things jumped out at us. First, «armoire» is no longer in the vernacular, as it is no longer sold. Seems people no longer see a tall, free standing unit with several deep drawers, topped with double doors covering several deep shelves on its upper portion, as necessary. However, Dania did offer a selection of contemporary office cabinets that, if stacked, would do nicely. The deal was sweetened with an additional 20% off sale taking place! Although the products were not available to take with us the same day, they were ordered and arrived the following week. We even received a courtesy call notifying us of their arrival.
The kind gal working on arranging a display initiated asking if we needed help, but we weren’t ready at that moment. When we wanted to buy, we had to stop one of several sales staff who have been passing by us earlier. The current trend here, to allow the customer to peruse as long as they want, and wait for them to approach you when help is needed? I don’t care for hovering staff but a bit of attention to let the customer know that you appreciate their being there is good courtesy.
I also found it incredible that a furniture store in downtown Spokane had no parking lot for customers. Shoppers have to pay either meters or a paid lot. Their merchandise pickup area consisted of two metered, curbside loading area parking spaces.
We have made purchases from their Tukwila (South Seattle area) store in the past and will likely continue to shop Dania for their style and range in quality.

Over the past several days my wife and I have dropped by nearly all of the furniture stores in town. Dania was one of our favorites. The selection is excellent and there seemed to be a noticeable upgrade in the quality of their products compared to most others. The prices are also competitive with the other stores as well. The store staff was excellent as they answered all of our questions yet let us be to walk around without hassling us. We walked out knowing that we will be back at some point. If you are checking out the stores between Division and Ruby I would highly recommend driving downtown and giving this store a look.

Do not buy anything at Dania!
They are dishonest. If they run your credit card in the store. Which they always do. If you go around to the back and they refuse to load your furniture. Which they did to me. Then you cannot reverse the charge. The rules of credit card processors say, that if you signature is on the credit card slip, then you must have received the item, even if you didn’t.
In my case, the loading person signed his name to the pick up receipt left blank where the customer signs and it was considered proof of pick-​up.
Beware. Do not sign your credit card slip at Dania.
