Excellent experience! Cute little seat-yourself café, child friendly and family oriented. The bacon cheeseburger was PERFECT with real bacon and FRESH lettuce/tomato, the meat was cooked perfectly! The fries and tartar sauce were also delicious, and the price is perfect, especially for the quality of food! I highly recommend the hot cocoa and Oreo shake as well! Loved, absolutely will be going back!

Money! This was a lucky find for us, we happen to skip Ohio and lucked out finding this place. Get the gravy on the hash browns. Servers are friendly, breakfast fantastic!

First visit and we’re fans! Next to the Milk Bottle in Garland District. I had a BLT with tomato soup. My mom had a burger that was cooked to order. My sister had. a veggie burger and was happy with it. I tried the fries and they were shoestring and nicely crisped. The soup was a thin tomato broth, not a rich creamy bisque. It wasn’t milky at all. I am not sure I have had tomato soup like that before but I enjoyed it. My sister didn’t, she was hoping for creamier/more tomato thickness. I’d guess it’s tomato and vegetable broth with some spices. Also! Our kind and cheerful waitress was lovely. We asked for fry sauce and not only did she bring us the ingredients, she made it for us. Cute vintage diner vibe.

One of my favorite movies was shot here(benny and joon). Breakfast is good. Omelets are a little too well down. Loved the hash browns!

Only place my son wants to go. We both had french dips, he loved it. Me, I thought it was skimpy that’s why I gave 3 stars could of put some meat on it I think it only had about 2 pieces of it and of course think the crew ran out of fries or they ate them. Fries are one of the cheapest things for a restaurant to serve. That was what I noticed the crew was busy snacking more then working. I have really triing to support or neighborhood and have been sense before the fire and I will continue. JUst wanted the owner to know how much things have changed.

Just what I was looking for when I woke up with a craving for biscuits and gravy. Nothing fancy here just hearty diner food but that’s the okay. I wish the portions were a little larger for what they charge, I would have given it 5 stars if not for this. Overall great place because they serve breakfast all day!

Definitely one of the gems of the Garland District. Rebuilt a few years back after a fire, and better than ever. Great food, even better employees and a family atmosphere. Sign in at the front on the busier days(weekends). Worth the drive if you’re not in the area. Pancakes and hash browns are to die for.

I loved this place and it was my first time. Lisa was friendly and funny. Quite the start-the-day-out-right kind of waitress. Food was delicious and served quickly. A very old fashioned feel inside. Thank you!

Quaint little diner with lots of history. Vision Quest and Benny & Joon was filmed in this place. Yes Johnny Depp was here. Come for the all day breakfast menu… it won’t disappoint.

Amazing place to step back in time! Stunning retro yellow, black, white, and chrome diner! Décor is a lot of fun(see my photos of the interior). Water glasses are a cute Coca Cola form. FOOD Double Whammy: 2 patties and«cheese», requested lettuce only Hamburger: ¼ lb patty, extra lettuce, tomato, hold the bun and pickles, grilled onions, special sauce One Chocolate Malted, to be shared As fun as it was being in another«time zone», our burgers were a bust. The Double whammy was left unfinished halfway through by my guest. The Velveeta-like cheese, coupled with the overcooked beef patties sank it. My burger sans bun was also dry. We were both too hungry to complain at the time of service. However, the Chocolate Malted Shake was creamy. It could use a bit more malt though, as it was very faint in taste. Service was friendly but a touch inefficient. I had to ask for both my ordered hamburger sauce and the grilled onions, after my burger was brought to the table. Our waitress never checked back on us after delivering our orders. She did kindly bring our one shake in two separate glasses as we told her we were sharing. That courtesy added a star. Overall, 3 stars combined for food and service. Not too sure if will return soon but will keep in mind. They are right next door to another iconic diner of this Garland District. Lots of free street parking in the vicinity

Had a great dinner with my visiting sis! She got a veggie burger which was a welcome change from pasta and cheese pizza. I embraced my meat-eating side with a bacon cheeseburger. With malts to top it off and staff who were excited to be there we loved the environment, history, and of course the food!

Best breakfast in Spokane. The sonnenberg sausage is to die for. I live close by and go here often. Never had bad service. Coffee always stays full and very reasonable price wise.

Such a great, charming little breakfast place. I had a ‘tiny tim’ with an English muffin side and it was perfect. Bacon, an egg and one big pancake with there homemade blueberry syrup. It was very perfect. Great ‘down home’ customer service. Love it

This wonderful neighborhood dinner in a historical location is a delight for any meal. My favorite diner meal is breakfast, but I know that they would serve a great diner meal during their limited 8am-8pm hours. The meals are nice; however, today, our hashbrowns and omelet were overdone.

Always love the historic Ferguson’s. Great food, phenomenal atmosphere, and some of the best milkshakes found in Spokane. The 50’s décor is attractive and discussing the movies that were filmed here with the family is always a good time.
