Everything was extraordinary. Had the Swiss roast beef panini and chicken pecan salad. The cookies were delicious to top it all off.

Having been abruptly forced into a gluten-free diet has been hard on me. I love comfort-foods, breads and baked goods. And although there are more varieties of grocery-store options available these days, I miss the real McCoy. Enter: The Maple Street Bistro. I was serendipitously forced to re-route my usual commute to work and happened to see their glorious reader-board offering a gluten-free scone and a daily drink special and immediately made a hard-right into their drive-through where I was met with beyond courteous service and, not only one gluten-free offering, but about 6 pastry options that day, scones and muffins both! Swoon! I decided on the Maple Cranberry Pecan muffin and a Lavender Brown Sugar latte. I’m hooked. I was blown away. The coffee was smooth and homemade syrup for the latte was dreamy. The muffins are big and beautiful and by no means did I miss a thing. Such a gourmet treat, I’d choose them if I didn’t have to for my dietary needs. I have since tried several of the other pastry offerings and have been nearly as impressed as that very first visit.(Looking forward to sampling some of their other lunch-type items!) I’m still new to the world of living gluten-free, but I have to thank Maple Street Bistro. They are doing it right, and they’ve made the transition a little more comfortable for this grateful girl. My heroes!

Beyond expectations! We had high expectations after reading other Unilocal reviews but our food was even better than anticipated. I had the spinach feta quiche and my breakfast mate had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. My drink was a Chai latte and she had a caramel latte. Truly excellent.

This is my husband’s and my go-to lunch date spot since moving to Spokane just six months ago. The food is always amazing! Check out their Bistro Club Panini — the combination of savory ham and turkey and cheese with the sweetness of pineapple is such a refreshing take on a regular brunch sandwich. We love their coffee too(the Maple Nut Latte is sooo good!). It’s pretty convenient to have it on our school drop-off route, so we now have it on our list of favorite places in town. P. S. The people there are super friendly and always greet you with a smile. Five stars all around!

Delicious breakfast! We got the quiche Lorraine, a breakfast sandwich, cinnamon roll, and a smoothie. Service was quick and the bistro was neat and we’ll set up.

Definitely would recommend this place. It’s nothing crazy, but a nice solid café. I got the brown sugar lavender latte which was really yummy! My fiancé and I each got a breakfast club sandwich as a wrap, and agreed that we really should have split it. It was way too much for one person. We would come here again for sure.

One of my favorite lunch places. My absolute favorite is grilled cheese on focaccia and the tomato soup. Actually, you can’t go wrong with any of their soups. The scones are wonderful, as are the cinnamon rolls. Salads are good too, especially the macaroni salad.

My boyfriend and I came here after he picked me up from the airport. It was a Sunday morning and though it was pretty busy, there wasn’t a wait. I got a BLT sandwich, pumpkin cake, and a decaf drip coffee. He got a chicken pesto sandwich and a brown sugar lavender latte. The counter person was very welcoming. The bistro is cozy and home-y feeling. A bit small, so coming here with a large group might not be a good idea, but there are lots of windows and a high ceiling so it doesn’t feel cramped. Everything came out really quickly. My coffee tasted burnt to me but maybe it was just a dark roast. The BLT sandwich was great. Very flavorful and the bread was nice and thick but not chewy(I think it was a focaccia bread?). They ended up giving me a full sandwich instead of the half that I ordered but they didn’t charge me for the extra. The pumpkin cake tasted like it was made from actual pumpkins. The frosting was amazing, though I wish the cake itself had a little more spice to it. I tried a sip of my boyfriend’s latte and it just tasted like coffee with a little bit of honey to me. He also said that in general, he couldn’t taste any lavender(though when he got to the bottom of it, he said that he could taste it a bit more). Though the food was better than expected, I was quite disappointed by the coffee. We may come back if we are in the area.

This place was a lucky oasis to find on a busy day. Good coffee, great food, nice people, convenient location, and no pretentiousness! I would definitely come back here and tell others about this place.

This place is a breath of fresh air in an area of town with strip malls and heavy traffic. It’s a great place to slow down, relax, and chat with friends while enjoying a nice caffeinated drink and amazing pastry. The cinnamon rolls are nothing short of amazing, and patio is a perfect place to relax on a sunny day. It’s such a nice oasis in everyday life that you might not even notice the traffic buzzing by just outdoor it’s walls.

This place is an amazing breakfast spot! I ordered the Breakfast Club Sandwich and an iced raspberry splash green tea. The breakfast club sandwich was very good. Still warm, freshly made, the cheese and cream cheese were melted into the sandwich. The iced tea was good, but not too exciting. My friend, however had a smoothie with blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, spinach, and cucumber(you can choose your smoothie ingredients). The cucumber added an amazing kick to the smoothie – I didn’t realize until today that it could make such a difference! I will be coming back.

Nice bakery/diner on the way back to GEG airport. Ordered a Homestyle Wrap with added Potato Hash & a homemade Hot Chai w/Almond Milk. Hubby ordered a Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich on herb focaccia & Brown Sugar Lavender Latte(decaf). A couple of muffins(pumpkin brown sugar/cranberry maple pecan) for the plane trips(to PDX& then on to SNA).

For years they have been one of my favorite Spokane coffee shops. Both for drive thru and for sit down. When I need to meet a client or old friend they are my first suggestion. The food choices are absolutely amazing! So many breakfast treats! Then you have to try a Panini sandwich for lunch. Check the daily special first though, try something new! The staff has always been super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about not only their food offerings but the coffee they serve also. My person favorite coffee is an iced caramel breve. They have a patio too!

Loved everything about it. Delicious panini, refreshing gazpacho, and a delightful lavender latter. All of the pastries, breads, and baked goods were super tempting, but they will have to wait until next time!

This is little neighborhood gem in north Spokane. They have great sandwiches and coffee. The tomato soup is excellent and I get it every time I go. It’s family owned and operated and a great place for great food and conversation.

The sandwiches are very tasty and I made the mistake of ordering two for myself… well one was more then enough and I was eating the second one into the next day. I would have loved to give a better review except the I felt that the place wasn’t quit as clean as it should be the ordering counter and dinning tables were a little grimy and there were flies buzzing around everywhere some even landing on the baked goods on that were display. despite all I will likely come back and hopefully have a better time.
