Chicken salad is to die for! I got it on sourdough bread with olives red onions and mustard, the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I went to this place in college 15 years ago and have remembered it ever since and made my parents take me and my husband there when we went to go visit. It hasn’t changed a bit, they’ve kept the same recipe since the beginning. A full sandwich is about eight bucks and you’ll eat all of it you don’t even need chips to fill you up. The only downside was that my dads soup was lukewarm, but it’s his own fault for ordering soup at a sandwich shop.

I had the Dip n nooner. It was so good I added some avocado and it took it over the top. My wife had the turkey and she loved it. The side of chicken bow tie was awesome and your meal comes with a free chocolate chip cookie, it doesn’t get any better than that. The owner personally served us and she is a riot. If you get the chance talk to footie she is funny. If I lived in Spokane this would be my sandwich shop.

Great sandwiches! Thanksgiving came early this year with the sundowner. Good place and cheap.

I’ve always enjoyed the Valley High Nooner and would get lunch for my office staff often but never utilized their catering service until recently. I ordered catering for my grandmother’s 90th birthday party from the Downtown Nooner. The food was praised by all and was delivered fresh, on time, and presented in a lovely fashion. Salads were yum. Just flat out good. They made the process so easy for me — assisted me with portions for the number of people attending and talked me out of ordering waaaay to much food which was greatly appreciated. An absolutely wonderful experience and I will do it again. What a huge relief to plan a party and have no stress about food. Thank you for helping make a lovely event so easy and stress free.

Better choice than subway or any other sandwich shop. Had the dip’n nooner and bread wasn’t very good but the other parts were good. Pickles are great

Customer service was good. I ordered an Almost Ruben and the sandwich came out on time. The bread was a little soggy, but overall pretty good. I would come back if I lived here.

I am so so so disappointed in the quality of food, disrespect, and poor customer service. Wow. They insisted that the stale hamburger bun on my sandwich was foccocia bread and the Reuben was bland soggy and disgusting. Horrible experience.

Sandwiches are really, really good… I gave High Nooner 3 stars because their service and store hours leave something to be desired. My husband and I went into the north Spokane location 20 minutes before closing only to find out that they had already turned off their grill which meant we couldn’t order any if the hot sandwiches(over half of the items on their menu are under the«grill» section). This was a little annoying. They were also out of roast beef(it’s a sandwich store!) and a couple of their salads. Will I go back? Probably. Is it my first choice for a sandwich in Spokane? No. If you do go, I highly recommend the unforgettable nooner. Stay away from the Asian Sesame salad — it wasn’t very good.

A group of co-workers and I decided to order from here on a Friday. I ordered a pastrami and rum cake for dessert. Pastrami was on rye with swiss cheese, nothing to write home about. There was a good amount of pastrami, but nothing like mammoth proportions. The rye bread felt like it sat for a while because it didn’t have that good«crunch» when I bit into it. Rum cake– holy moley! I can certainly taste the rum in this cake. Seems like the baker dropped the whole bottle in the mix.lol.I got a slab of rum cake. This was probably my favorite part of my order. With the sammich you also get a comp chocolate chip cookie! A place to keep in mind again when we’re feeling lazy to grab a bite to eat anywhere else.
