nYne Bar and Bistro

I have three friends that were drugged here and two attacked, this place is very dangerous for anyone alone. Please be careful guys!

I went there for dinner excellent food and service.
They had open mike night. Talented people. Great place.

Awesome location, great music, huge dance floor. Perfect place to hang out on a Saturday night

nYne is rad. It’s a large space with friendly staff whom I consider friends. I enjoy their Thursday night Karaōke and it’s possibly the only place to be on the weekends if you’re looking for a loud, rambunctious night on the town with friends. My complaints are minimal but perhaps stem from the lack of intimate seating and nowhere to have and keep your posse, as if they could be tied down anyhow.
If you’re from out of town, come here. If you’re from here, come here to dance and have fun. It’s just not the ideal place to have a personal conversation, which is where my weekend cravings lean most of the time.

Why are there no half stars?! Because this place is a solid 3.5!
I’m one to prefer having a night out on less popular days, Wednesday at nyne did not disappoint in most aspects. Definitely not at all crowded, love the openness of this venue and the drinks were decently priced. We went specifically for the karaōke and none of the singers made me want to shove sharp objects into my ears. There are some draw backs though… The music is stupid loud. It makes having a conversation difficult, unless you like screaming and the sexiness of a smokey voice the next day. And the crowd, at least on this particular Wednesday, was really young. I’m hoping that it was just because it was a Wednesday and the prospect of waking up early for work the next day slightly hungover was less than ideal. That and the older you get the more you come to realize the best cure for a hangover is being under 25.
I will go again.

Fav spot downtown! Nice place to grab dinner and enjoy a couple beers during the week. Amazing nighttime spot on the weekend! Always a great dancefloor and a staff that pours awesome drinks!

Went on a Friday night and had a blast. Diverse crowd, great dj. Women packed on the dance floor, dancing with each other and everyone else for that matter! :) My only gripe is the lack of a wait staff. We had to go get every single drink (and would have had to order food) from the bar. Not once were we asked if we wanted anything by any servers. There is a small bar near entrance with beer and shots. Drink prices were good with no cover! There was a pool table near the front that was constantly in action. Fun crowd, great dancing music, and good prices make this a place I will dance the night away many times.

I loved this place reminded me of the wild Rose in Seattle they have DJ’s these ladies know how to party and not as many butch girls like back home in Seattle or at least not the two nights I was here met lots of cool people (° °) not many snobs

They offer a good variety of drinks but the food menu is limited. However I do like that they serve food until 2 (or so I was told).
The night that I went here it was early enough that I was able to get a table with my friends. Open mic night started around 7.
It wasn’t too expensive and definitely worth a look on a Friday or Saturday night.

Average dance bar, good tunes, shockingly unpleasant staff.
We came on a Saturday night for the later nightlife and the bar scene and wanted to do some dancing. The night stated off shaky as the bouncer was rude. We told him we had a group of 5, and he still cut off the last 2 people in the group and made them wait longer to get in. Once inside, it was very surprising that there was a line to get in. It was like half full! Silly, but forgivable.
The bar service was fine and the DJ played some good tunes, but they were constantly grumbling and groaning about standing by a wall next to the dance floor. The night until closing time was average overall, but went downhill quickly around closing time.
They advertise as being open until 2am, but had last call at about 1:15 and had the lights on kicking people out promptly at 1:30. Now, that’s a bit early, but not the worst part. When we didn’t IMMEDIATELY leave when the lights came on, the staff started telling us we had to leave NOW and pushing us out. They were actually physically taking the drinks OUT OF OUR HANDS!!! It’s not like we were the last ones in there, just refusing to leave either.
That could be the rudest and worst I have been treated in a bar in my life! It seemed like the staff wanted to leave as early as possible and would do whatever it took to make that happen including nearly assaulting its former patrons.
Needless to say, Nyne left a lasting impression on me and will NOT be getting my return business!

This has really blossomed into a great place to eat and have a few drinks. The atmosphere in there is really laid back, and has a somewhat «beatnic» feel to it.
The food was excellent, and the drinks were equal. Some of the staff can be somewhat snooty…
