Went to Rain lounge yesterday for happy hour. Nice atmosphere. Had beer and bailey’s coffee. Crab chowder was excellent and spinach salad was very good as well. Tried my brothers calamari which great and the edamame with garlic, lemongrass and ginger. Would highly recommend the Rain.

Good doesn’t even begin to describe the Cute Fig drink I had while there. Refreshing yummy goodness that you just one more of!!! Fantastic prices and choices on the happy hour menu. The hummus platter and edamame were delicious and a ton of food for the $$. The best part of the time we spent there was the bar tender. For life of me I can not recall her name but she was absolutely the BEST!!! Great location for that before and after drink when going to a concert at the Knitting factory. Don’t pass this gem by!!!

A nice casual hipster joint with wonderful ambience. A little warm on the inside, and a bit uncomfortable. However, this food makes up for the lack of comfort. Will I be back? Tough call. It’s worth a check out. Besides, it’s a nice place to take a date on the first stop of a long evening.

We got Thai Flatbread and Smart Nachos… neither were good. They were very dry, lacked flavor and looked exactly the same. My drink was very sweet and wasnt worth $ 7. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Modern décor is about all they have going for them.

Got the pita nachos (yummy idea) to share. I had the rain martini, which was great. My boyfriend got this other cocktail that was lemon/​lime and was so sour that he had a hard time drinking it at all… and he loves lemonade so that’s saying something. Overall, fun place for a chill hang out and a drink.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining here with friends and family twice in the past four weeks and have enjoyed every drink and all of the food. The staff are very friendly and helpful w/​food suggestions and fun drink ideas. Everything has been very tasty and the atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. Next time I’m back in Spokane I’ll be stopping by!

Really fun bar with great service. We went for happy hour. Deals were good, ambient music wasn’t overly loud. I was really glad the waitress had suggestions for desserts and drinks.

Came here for the first time — my friend said I just HAD to check out the happy hour here (all day Mondays and Tuesdays) and she was completely right! From the atmosphere to the food, Rain is awesome. Classy, yet casual — it’s the whole package. Our server and bartender, Lisa, was awesome. I had the calamari and my friend had the smart nachos… Both were to die for.
Come here, you won’t regret it.

Get the bruschetta! It’s a huge serving and so tasty. I went to this place while my parents were visiting and I was glad to take them there. It was comfortable and chic with the barrel tables and dark walls. I like that area of town for it’s take on the modern roaring 20s kind of vibe. A great place to try

Wow! I was not expecting to love this place. It was a whim that turned out great. I had the Hot Pot and it was absolutely fantastic. The appetizers were great, the service was attentive and fun and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I will definitely try it again when I’m in town. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Had dinner and drinks. The steak I had was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend going there, the more relaxed version of scratch. The gnocchi is also so good, half off entrees on Thursdays is an amazing deal along with a bar menu after 9pm is a fun switch up.

Great wine, amazing cocktails, and one of the best happy hours in town including all day Monday and Tuesday and 4 – 6 9-​close every day. The scratch restaurant menu is available at all times and half off the scratch menu in the bar on Thursdays. Great downtown spot.

I want to like this place more than I do. I’ve had decent food at the Scratch restaurant, but the bar is so-​so. It is your typical over-​salted, over-​sweetened, Bar Food masquerading as trendy foodie crap to be washed down with some godawful fruit bomb shiraz in a glass still warm from the dishwasher.
Yes. Wine in a warm glass. Any time you order a glass of wine here, it comes to you in a warm glass.

Rain offers 50% off the adjoining ‘Scratch’ menu every Thursday evening. I am a fan of Scratch and it’s such a great deal that it keeps me coming back… but the horrible service keeps me from going there any time but Thursdays. The waitresses are aloof and slow.
