Great customer service, nice atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I love their bagels and their banana nut bread. I highly recommend giving it a try ;)

This place is absolutely wonderful. It has a very distinct and special atmosphere. The drinks are always made consistently and their food is SO yummy. They have a wide variety of bakery items that are always made to perfection. Their staff is always friendly… which is a rare thing to come across these days within Spokane coffee shops. They have a large seating area which is cozy enough to relax on your own or to enjoy with a group of friends or business partners. Their patio seating is wonderful as well. I highly recommend Rocket Bakery!

Nothing like standing in line and have 5 people cut in front of you and barista helps them first… Yes, there are rude people out there… seems like they are always short handed also… downtown always has at least 2 at all times… I saw two people fine in and leave because of the line… barista very nice, it’s not her fault… suggestions…more help

Surprised this has a cumulative 3 and a half stars. On a whim my wife and I decided to go to this bakery/café during her lunch break. I had been here at least one other time before. This visit was quite pleasant, clean outside and inside for the most part. Plenty of seating both out/indoors I bought a slice of lemon bread that was really great and my wife ordered a decaf latte. Know I imagined decaf coffee like diet coke is to regular coke. A copy, a fake, not the full experience. Mind you this was a latte not straight black. Regardless, WOW. Very good latte I was quite surprised. The barista was jovial and kind. Cons: their counter was quite dirty with coffee grounds. They had run out of whipping cream before they could top off my wife’s latte, and the staff got a bit confused with what I had ordered for a second. If you are in the area this is a fine place to grab a cup of coffee, baked good, and study or chat with a loved one.

1st and last!!! 2 of the staff we’re very nice. Quiche was cold and my daughter said the bread tasted like playdoh(and it did). There is 1 darker haired girl that is just a stuck up snob and probably the owners daughter. I will not be back because of her. She literally grabbed my shoulder to move me out of her way. Awful people skills. Very disappointed after all the good things I’ve heard about it.

The quality always seems spot on! However, if you’re in a rush and they’re slammed, The Rocket owns The Space Station drive thru just down the street where you can still get the amazing coffee and a good variety of goodies.

Located on a busy street the parking can be difficult and the outdoor seating, though tempting to sit in, face the busy road and paper mill across the street. The seating inside and the noise level would be pleasant for meet ups, studying or relaxing. The layout and efficiency is difficult as the pastries and sweets are at the front of the store and you order in the back so if you want multiple food items you need to memorize or run back and forth which I can see it being chaotic on a busy day. The pastries: no bake cookie lacked enough oats, too much sugar and tastes like peanut butter sugar glob. The ginger molasses cookie was ok, very sweet from the frosting but expected. Lemon poppy seed cake was overly frosted and sweet in addition to being very dry and crumbly. Not the best if taking to go to eat on a drive or keeping it off your lap. The lemon tart was tasty but also very sweet, it was hard to eat more than a couple bites(before going into a hyperglycemic episode). The wheat peanut butter cookie was good, harder than I like most cookies but flavor was great. It may sound critical but definitely pretty factual. I like the balance of sweetness with my pastries(I mean they are pastries after all) but overkill on the sugar and sweetness will make me turn away.

What a GREAT coffee house! Locals, you should feel very lucky for having this place here. I’m from Seattle area, have a friend in Milwood and he took me here for an early morning chat & coffee. I went back home and started looking for places like this — where you can order coffee but also go to a comfy room with couches to chat/study/meditate. Seattle is known for coffee but not a lot of places I found with such relaxed atmosphere. Very rare. Wow, my friend is lucky to have it few blocks away from his house! Great baristas, great bakery & coffee. But that relaxed atmosphere inside is priceless. Everywhere I go now I try to find places similar to it. Thank you for inspiration, Rocket Bakery! I was back to Spokane twice this summer/fall for a few days each time and went to this coffee shop at least 6 times to read and have chats with friends.

Love the rocket bakeries coffee, food, atmosphere. Something about this location I can stand is the way you order and the line. The baristas should take your order at the beginning of the line, and you pay at the end. The way it works now is they wait for you to get to the register to order, then it’s a cluster f$&k of people standing around the tiny area by the cash register. Then to top it off, the back door comes in by the cash register. So basically in the smallest area ever, you have people waiting to order, people who’ve paid and are waiting for their food/drinks, then people coming in the back door trying to figure out what’s going on. If there is a line, we go somewhere else. Hopefully the owners read this and figure out a better system

I am in love with their white chocolate iced mocha. It’s got great coffee flavor. The whole grain blueberry scone is a must try!

Love the décor and relaxed environment! I met with a friend to do homework and the large tables are perfect for spreading everything out! I had a delicious triple soy latte and the quiche was huge! The only negative is I wish SOME of the baristas were more attentive and welcoming but that’s in a perfect world :)

Today was my first and possibly last time visiting this location. I am certainly displeased with the service and the overall experience. The barista forgot about my friends drink that was just sitting in a blender waiting to be blended. She also forgot about my burrito that had been sitting in the microwave, that was now mediocrely warm. The trash cans were overflowing with garbage and the baristas spent a lot of time talking and then at one point they burned something in the toaster and joked incredibly loudly about it. My white chocolate mocha was good, same with my wheat oatmeal cookie. My chicken, rice and Thai peanut sauce burrito was not. It is too bad because I really wanted to like this place.

Great little coffee shop! My husband and I were in town visiting from the Bay Area and stopped by Rocket Bakery. I had a delicious caramel latte and a slice of the blueberry cream cheese cake and my husband had an Americano. The atmosphere was nice and the girls working behind the counter were great, too! I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in town!

This Rocket bakery is in desperate need of a remodel. The carpet is gross and really worn down. The food cooler by the cash register looks ratty. The service and goodies are great, but this particular location seems to have been ignored when the other ones have been updated. Please refresh this location. Thanks for reading.

My favorite spot in Spokane. And let me tell you, there aren’t that many great places in Spokane. The atmosphere is cozy, good service, free wifi, and they don’t play loud music like Starbucks so you can actually do some good studying in here. I love their chocolate cakes($ 4 of slice) and their quiche. Oh and their non-fat hot chocolate tastes so much better than the ones from Starbucks.

Very cute place, pleasant helpful staff, looked like a cool place to meet people and hang out. Had triple latte, orange scone and bannana bread. Latte — Hate to say it but it tasted burned, not pleasant. Got it to go, otherwise would have asked them to remake it. Orange scone — Extremely dry, all but very small bit of center was chalky dry. It was about 3:30pm, maybe they were better in the morning. But it was a throw away the way it was. Bananna Bread — Pretty good If I wanted a place to sit down and use wi-fi, I’d go back and give it a shot. Can’t say I’d just pull in for something to go, seem to be other options locally.
