Walked through the door and was greeted with smiles and this «Procaffinating: The tendency to not start anything until you’ve had a cup of coffee.» My kind of shop.
This Rocket Bakery has such a great small neighborhood feel to it. The exterior just recently had a face lift and now has a retractable garage door to let in more light and open air in the warmer months.
Particular bakery favorites are the ginormous cinnamon rolls and their poppyseed muffins. The cinnamon rolls will feed a small army…
This is a great spot to come with a book or a friend and enjoy the mismatched couches and funky furniture.

This is a great little spot with excellent coffee and eats! Comfortable, relaxed environment with a vintage feel. Love to meet friends at this spot! (All the rocket bakeries are excellent, this one is just closer to home!)

This is a smaller, more intimate version of the Rocket I am more familiar with on W. 1st downtown, but just as good. This morning I had an iced white mocha iced coffee, and a BIG slice of Potato and bacon quiche. Both were good. I chose to eat my HUGE piece of quiche cold, but next time I think I will ask to have it heated. I didn’t taste to much bacon. maybe heating is the key, but it was filling.

Cute on the inside with big tables for doing schoolwork. Two seating areas in the front and back so that I could choose which was quieter for studying. The girl who was working was very friendly and sweet. Good quality espresso and reasonable prices.

Good coffee, wonderful atmosphere. They have free wifi (they will give you the password) and great tables, sofas and chairs to sit. Excellent place to study. I haven’t tried their food, but it looks good.

After reading so many positive reviews on here my mother recommended we go here. We stopped in on the way in to downtown. I was hoping for 2 chocolate croissants but we had gotten there too late in the day, and there was just one left. I let my mom have it and opted for a slice of cake. I figured you can’t really go wrong with chocolate cake? Right? Wrong! Both items were dry — but they were tasty! Maybe if we go earlier next time they will be better. Their peach apple oat bars were fantastic though! hopefully we’ll be by there earlier so we can each have a chocolate croissant!

The girl at the counter was super friendly to every customer that walked in the door. There’s a nice little quiet area in the back that you can sit and read in cozy old chairs or at a community table. Bright windows up in front or two teeny tables outside. Great selection of baked goods, all labelled with the ingredients. I just had regular coffee and it was fine. I recommend the chocolate swirl bread — so delicious! My tab was under $ 5 which is amazing for 2 items that were quality. I will be back for sure!

Jet into Rocket! Stumbled passed Rocket because Taste was on vacation. Though Rocket had 5 stars it was listed far down the Unilocal list though I had chosen to list by ratings. THIS PLACE IS ALL 5 STARS!!! Fantastic mixed berry scone and bagel & egg sandwich. My daughter said the chai tea was the best ever. Atmosphere is relaxing and the servers were great.

Delicious pastries (check out the day old basket) great coffee, nice atmosphere. With little parking and usually only one barista working though it’s not the place to stop if you are in a hurry

It’s SUCH a relief to find an option for coffee that doesn’t have affiliations with starbucks or coffee that has only drive-​up options.
MOREOVER, it’s a huge relief to find a quiet little place that serves my favorite brew from back hom: Caffe Vita
