Four years ago I got a tattoo of my Son’s footprints by Brian here. It was beautiful and I thought I had found my forever artist. So a little over a year ago I call a month in advance to make an appointment for both my mother and I to get tattoos that symbolize our relationship. I told the guy on the phone ATLEAST10 times I wanted BRIAN. So THEDAYOF our appointment I called to let Brian know we were going to be late as my mom was traveling from THREEHOURS away and myself an hour and a half away to get these tattoos. I said«please let Brian know we will be a little late but we are on our way.» The girl asked me to hold on a minute and she put a man on the phone who then said to me, «Yeah Brian left over a week ago, I just figured one of us could do it for you.» So of course I was a little ticked that I wasn’t notified ahead of time that the artist I SPECIFICALLY requested wasn’t even at the shop anymore, but I remained optimistic and decided to still go anyway because it would be the only chance for a very long time my mom and I would be able to do it together… I deeply regret that decision. We were 45mins late due to traffic and construction(which we had no idea was going on being that we didn’t live in Spokane) and we were treated like garbage when we got there. The guy who was supposed to do it was incredibly rude and told us he was just going to pass us off to someone else because he had somewhere else he wanted to be and it was our fault that we were late. The girl who did our tattoos was nice but my tattoo turned out awful. I got the words«I’ll love you forever» tattooed on my forearm. It is crooked, some of the letters are so far apart they look like they’re a part of the word before or after it, the lines aren’t even the slightest bit straight, and now not even two years later(and I cared for my tattoo just the same as all my others that look nice) it’s so faded and horrible. It looks like it was done 20 years ago in a friend’s basement. I will never go back to Screamin’ Ink again, and if you ask me that is a really dishonorable way to run a business. Luckily I found a new artist in a different city who is beyond incredible and willing/able to fix the disaster on my arm. Just sucks that I’m going to have to spend another $ 200 to fix something that would have been done right the first time had the artist I asked for did it. Or something I never would have had done had I known the artist I wanted had left.

Screamin’ Ink is the shit! Wayne is super talented, though he’s usually booked weeks/months in advance, so definitely call ahead.

Have several tattoos and these guys did my most current. They are clean, courteous, professional. They joke and kid to get you to relax. Unlike some shops that have people hanging around that intimidate, here it was comfortable and everyone was kind. Good vibes. They did a beautiful job and I WILL be back.
