Spokane Hardware Supply

I had a large shed built in my backyard, and the contractor used a prefab door assembly which came with gold hinges and a gold lock and deadbolt.
I decided to swap them out for brushed nickel, but I needed to find the same brand of hinges (SGS), so that the holes would line up and I wouldn’t have to redrill them. Neither Home Depot or Lowe’s carry that brand.
It was a little more complicated, because the door has an outside swing, which means one or more of the hinges has to have a non-​removable pin.
I called SGS, and they gave me the part number, and suggested that I call the Hardware Hut, aka Spokane Hardware. I called and spoke with Shirley. They don’t keep the NRP hinges in stock, but she special ordered them for me.
UPS delivered the hinges two days later! I was very pleased with the friendly, professional service I received, and I would definitely recommend them!

I purchased matching towel bars, hooks, tp holder and when it arrived the quality of it was not at all what we were expecting. So I contacted the company to return. There return policy is not like some of the other places we have ordered from. You have to pay for shipping it back — with the new UPS rates on the size of box it was almost $ 50.00 and they also have a restocking fee. Lesson learned on not using this company again. Will continue to use the ones we have in the past that do not do this but also about 99.99% of the ones we have purchased from we have not needed to return. Still waiting to see just how much will be credited. BTW did order others from

We purchased many items from Spokane Hardware during our recent kitchen remodel. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are competitive, great selection, and well stocked back room.
They provided excellent support for both design and technical support of my LED under cabinet lighting.

This company offers an excellent selection online. However, like others have said, customer service and return policies leave a great deal to be desired. I was told I would receive an RMA number the next day. I didn’t. I called and was then told it can take up to a week to receive it. No dice. I finally requested it online and got it. If you do have to return an order or item, you can get hit with massive restocking charges as much as 25%, and your card will likely not be credited for up to six weeks!
It’s just not worth the hassle to deal with this company.

I was given incorrect information when ordering. I am a professional and wrote down exactly what was said. The company denied it. The order was wrong. I was charged a 25% restocking fee. This company does not take responsibility for incorrect advice.

This store has a big online presence for hardware products via its website Hardware Hut. It sells home improvement hardware products such as door and cabinet hinges and knobs, bathroom hardware, and many other parts for the home. It appears to be a small business that has grown online to beyond its means to provide customer service. I did not have a good experience with this company’s customer service. It might be great to buy from them due to their selection but I was not satisfied when my transaction required something more than just my payment to them and their shipment to me. If you expect or need more than this from your online purchases, beware. I would not deal with them again for this reason.
