I have worked in downtown Los Angeles where the suits with their 18-carat cuff links jostle in line with construction workers, symphony players and secretaries for the supreme good Mexican food of the«roach coaches.» Tacos Tumbres would have a GOOD long line of jostling customers!(Without the roaches !). I have never driven past this wonderful truck without gripping my hands on the wheel and praying I will have the fortitude not to stop. I seldom have the fortitude. This is real Mexican food like only a Southwesterner knows.

Almost went to Pita Pit and happy I didn’t as I decided to venture over to the Food truck in the parking lot. As a San Diego native and self admitted Mexican food snob, I’ll have to go ahead and say this place is legit! Had the Walla Walla Burrito with Habenro sauce to kick it up a notch and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Tortilla and all ingredients tasted fresh. Sadly they were out of Guacamole but I’ll try it next time. Easily the best Burrito I’ve had Spokane without a doubt.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. Not very good. :(I was very disappointed because I was expecting so much better. It was ok because we were really hungry, but not the place I will return to for authentic Mexican because our food lacked so much flavor. Sad. I love food trucks!

Can’t help but be disappointed came here to try the only truck on the South Hill only for it to be CLOSED on both midday visits. Menu looks respectable wanted a Lengua Burrito, guess I will go somewhere else.

Put this truck in downtown LA and you would have a decent, solid experience. Put this truck in Spokane, with its dearth of quality Mexican places and you have almost hit Mexican nirvana. I find their tacos here to be a bit on the greasy side and they are a little stingy with the cilantro and lime which is an integral part. The flavors on the tacos are average(which means quite good for Spokane) but personally I don’t find myself ordering them very often when I come here.(NOTE: Tacos el Sol downtown has spoiled me and I will head there for my Taco fix.) What I do find delicious here is are the Sope’s and huaraches. And I will say that the Tostadas and Chili Verde are also quite good. Bottom Line: Respectable and legit Mexican food in Spokane — well done.

Excellent tacos. I stop by at least ones a week. I recommend the Asada and the Walla Walla.
