Great beer, great pizza, great appetizers. A fun environment too. The pizza choices are inventive and delicious.

This was a great place to have lunch with friends. They have good pizza and a decent selection of beer. The atmosphere was great and the service was above average. If you’re looking for a place to have lunch, give it a try.

This place is a one-of-a-kind! Their dumplings are amazing! Better get two orders, they go quick. Great selection of unique pizzas and beer, a calm, relaxed environment and a great staff make this my favorite pizza place in town.

Very glad to have run into this place when I was just quickly passing through Spokane. It was not too far from the airport. Had the chef salad and the Waikeke pizza. The pizza was outstanding. Very nice wood fired pizza with a crisp crust. The chef salad was nice and fresh. Great selection of craft beers on tap. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

Will have to say I have been here a few times. We always go for the Dalton. Was a bit disappointed. They really held back on pulled pork. Usually there’s enough meat to cover the topping. It was a Tuesday night. Not sure if I want to order this pizza again. I really like consistency with the amount of ingredients.

We had a yummy pickled egg, a delicious pizza and I had the flight of beers which included two nitros, a delicious sour ale and a local cider. We had the LaCrosse pizza which had preserved peppers– so good! Hot spicy but a touch of sweet! Our bill for 2 was only $ 35 for all that! Great atmosphere, food and service!

Super delicious pizza. Somewhat of a wait for dinner but worth it. A favorite of my friends and mine too when I come to town. The pizza is neapolitan style, which I don’t usually prefer, but the toppings and sauce are so good, and they do the thin crust thing just right here. Great beer selection. It’s a little slice of Pacific NW Pizza style heaven.

I was so excited to try this place out. After reading the good reviews and looking at pictures of their pizza… well, my husband and I finally decided to give it a try, and I was sadly disappointed. I usually have something I want to try right off the bat after looking at the pictures others have posted on here. I saw a pizza called the«long fellow» that I was wanting to try. Well, here comes my first disappointment, it wasn’t on the menu, because they change their menu every 6 months. So, I went with my second choice which was«the D street». Here comes my second disappointment about this place. The d street pizza just had way too much going on. Too many flavors that did not go well together at all. It had chicken curry, and sriracha sauce… not a good combo at all. I had to dim it down with their gorgonzola dipping sauce. Not to mention their pizza is insanely thin. I could name so many more things I disliked about this place, but I’m trying to keep this short and dandy… btw, I probably will never come back to this place. Way too pricey for such a bad pizza experience!

I hate to go against popular opinion here but I just ate at the Flying Goat for the first time and I have to say, I was expecting a lot more based off of all the 5 star reviews here. My review may end up sounding a little harsh but hear me out. First off, the place is tiny inside! There is barely any seating to speak of. And the way the tables are set up is just awkward. They are very close together which makes for a less than intimate dining experience. I felt a little claustrophobic in there! Not crazy about the black chairs, tables and walls either. Black is not the most inviting of colors to use in excess, especially in a pizza restaurant. Now, for the pizza itself. Is this thin crust pizza or EXTRA thin crust pizza? It was seriously the thinnest crust I’ve ever seen on any kind of pizza. Like, nearly paper thin. There is a difference between being«unique» and being cheap. Charging $ 14.00 for a 12 inch pizza with ultra thin crust and hardly any toppings seems like a cheap way to make money off of unsuspecting Spokanese. We ordered two pizzas, the«D Street» and the«Wellington.» The D Street had about a million different varieties of spices and ingredients on it and was trying way too hard to stand out. The flavors just didn’t work. There was too much going on. Its like some hipster was in the back smoking a joint and just started randomly picking ingredients to put on a pizza. Sometimes, less is more when it comes to pizza. Maybe some of the hipsters that eat there think it’s a great pizza because it looks pretty and has curry on it. It wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve ever had but overall, the pizza just fell flat in flavor. The Wellington, on the other hand, actually wasn’t that bad. It had Cremini mushrooms, asparagus and a cheese blend and offered a very different flavor and an original take on traditional pizza. However, it was way too salty/buttery. If they could find a way to dial back that saltiness it would be a good pizza. But again, the ultra thin crust left me still feeling hungry after all was said and done. I could easily demolish one of their pizzas by myself and probably still be hungry. Our server also informed us that, after we had asked about a certain pizza we had seen online, that they, «Change their menu every 6 months.» Umm, what? Why? Who does that? And when we inquired about ranch for our pizza he also mentioned that they don’t have ranch… What kind of pizza joint doesn’t have ranch?! Maybe, if I ever return, I’ll just smuggle in my own… I’m sorry my experience at the Flying Goat wasn’t as impressive as most of the other reviewers here. I guess I just don’t appreciate small, mediocre, overpriced pizzas like some people seem to… I just feel this place is extremely overrated. I understand that the people of Spokane don’t have a lot of options and this pizza probably seems amazing to them but anywhere else this place would struggle to make it. Maybe I’m a bit spoiled, having lived in Anchorage and experienced truly delicious pizza at Moose’s Tooth which is rated 3rd in the nation, that I just can’t justify jumping on the Flying Goat bandwagon. Negatives: High prices, small pizzas, ultra thin crust, cramped and dark restaurant, lack of seating and no booths… on a more positive note, a few of the pizza’s are genuinely decent but again, do not warrant the cost. Our server was also nice and polite although the female hostess there seemed curt and annoyed by us and other customers. Stuck up teenager I guess? I don’t see myself returning to this place anytime soon. It’s just not worth driving across town for. If I do ever return, I’ll make sure to bring a big stick so that I can fend off the pretentious hipsters and yuppies that seem to inhabit the Flying Goat. Sorry Spokane but this pizza just isn’t that amazing!

I think I found my new favorite pizza place in Seattle. A good pizza boils down to crust(in my opinion) and a good topping to sauce ratio. They nailed all of those. To be honest, I was in food heaven and ate almost an entire pizza by myself. Yum. I’m not ashamed ;) The restaurant itself is very small and fills up quickly at peak hours. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the place is so dark(dimly lit restaurants drive me crazy) unless it’s a fancy smash place, light that sucker up. A pizza place doesn’t need ambient lighting. I want to see the people I came with lol.

The Flying Goat is an awesome«after work, crappy stupid people day» type place. Warm and cozy, the kind of place you could hang out for hours. Pizzas are unique– the Courtland –Red Sauce, spinach, fresh mozzarella, herbed tomatoes, roasted Cremini mushrooms finished with smoked prosciutto, white balsamic reduction & shaved pecorino was good. Prosciutto was smokey with balsamic sweetness to balance. Crust was thin, crispy on the edges but soggy under the toppings– a bit disappointing. The pizza is not large– get an appetizer or dessert if sharing. The best part was our dessert– McLellan dumplings with housemade sausage, jalapeño and goat cheese wrapped in delicious fried dough dipped in arugula pesto and chili sauce! Paired with a beer from their draught list– a great dinner out.

Well I decided to update my review. Beer was good, service was really fast, Waitress was nice. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich instead of a pizza this time. Really it was the first time to not order pizza here. Let me tell you it was a great sandwich, and it came with a nice sized side salad! I would recommend trying the sandwiches. but of course the pizza is still great and its what they are primarily known for. Two beers and a sandwich came to 20 $.I did not leave hungry. Best time to come here is 2pm-330.as there won’t be a wait to get in.

One of the better pizza places I’ve been to! Chewy yet thin pizza crust, interesting flavors that work well together and good portions. The Gorgonzola, bacon, pear pizza was fantastic and had me comparing it to Serious Pie in Seattle. Downside is a $ 15 personal pizza. Service was fine but not amazing.

The Devils toenails? Kind of a disgusting choice in name but everything was delicious. There was nothing that we ordered that wasn’t scrumptious. The staff was very nice and attentive. The ambiance is great, sports on the televisions, and a great beer selection. I wish it was closer to me in Seattle!

Best bar food I had in a long time. Everything on the menu is soooooo good! The pizza is amazing. When I came in, I tried the pretzel… loved it! The place can get crowded fast, so be prepared for a wait for your table, but if your lucky you can find a seat in the bar.

My hubby and I came here today for lunch and were not disappointed! We got the gluten free Dalton pizza and the«A“list chips with gorgonzola dressing to dip them in. All fantastic! The flavors were sweet and smoky, with great freshness from the coleslaw on top. Perfect! The chips are made in house and are über fresh, crispy, and well seasoned. Don’t skip the gorgonzola, either, but I will warn you, they charge for the dressing – which is the one reason they got 4 stars instead of 5. It’s just dumb to charge for that. Don’t let it deter you, though. They go together like rama llama ding dong. Service was great, too! Emily was smiley and awesome! We’ll be back!

The Flying Goat’s perhaps only flaw– and it’s only going to get worse as the summer arrives — is that it’s too busy. It’s too good. Everyone loves it and everyone is seemingly always here. It was a 30 minute wait for our table and we felt every second outside in the hot sun. Inside, they have a wide beer selection and great pizza I would never think to try elsewhere. It’s not my go-to place for Pizza(see probably: Pacific Ave.) but it’s a nice enough, more formal stop for high-end artisan pizza,

I really want to like this place and give it 5 stars but I just can’t. The pizza and appetizers taste amazing, the staff has always been courteous, and the overall vibe of this place is great which is probably why there is a 15 – 20 minute wait every time I’ve been here. However, at the end of the meal I’ve always still felt hungry and slightly ripped off when the bill comes and that’s why I could only muster three stars for this place. I think that their food prices have gone down recently which is nice, but expect to order a pizza for each person at the table since I don’t think one will satisfy the hunger of two people unless they get an appetizer as well. The biggest knock that I have on this place is that the drinks are expensive(3 beers totaled over $ 20), and drinks with pizza are a part of American culture that completes the meal. I guess if the people keep coming then they are doing it right.

Great thin crust pizza! Really a great line between burnt and done but Flying Goat executes it well. Unfortunately our server was not as attentive as would be preferred as we had to ask multiple times for basics and she seemed unprepared to offer additional options. We were there for 2+ hours and were willing to buy more but we’re not asked. It won’t keep me from coming back, but next time maybe I’ll just do take out.

Exuberant greeter! Highly enthused wait gal. She was knowledgeable about the request for GF crust. Was very cordial in expediting our first pizza as I was having a hard time deciding on toppings while my companion was starving and anxious to eat. I’m sure her Waikiki was already half baked by the time I placed my order for a gluten free LaCrosse. Both pizzas were super thin and deliciously delicate. The ingredients in the toppings on each one worked together very well to present an outstanding, memorable pie. The use of just olive oil as the«sauce» in the LaCrosse was very nice, allowing the mild heat from the house-made Italian Sausage and the sweetness of the red peppers to shine. The Waikiki’s coppa, bacon, and caramelized pineapple(we omitted the jalapeño) was very flavorful. Leftovers eaten cold the next day were just about as delicious as fresh from the oven. Only comment for improving would be just a tad more toppings, please. The fresh fried potato chips were ordered plain and still tasted yummy, crunchy and not at all oily. The house seasoning was ordered on the side. We added just a pinch to try as we didn’t want Johnny’s like seasoning coating all the chips. Our wait gal was attentive. She checked in on us shortly after both pies were served and kept the water glasses filled. We had stopped in for lunch some time ago and I only remember that it wasn’t busy but our pizza took a long time to be served. Tonight, we had great service, and fantastic food. They are located on a major street, surrounded by a residential neighborhood, and there’s free parking. The patio looks like it could be inviting when it’s warmer and not rainy. Their bar looked quite busy, with the 2 tvs I saw turned to Monday night football.
